Contendership Match- Chigusa Vs. Riana

The blow Hel readied certainly was improbable, but it managed to do the trick. It knocked Chigusa off to the side, so that only one elbow struck instead of both. Chigusa winced in pain when her other elbow struck nothing but the mat. But her other elboe landed into Hel's gut. This move would hopefully convince Hel to stay down, and allow Chigusa to end the match.

The elbow struck, causing Hel to curl up in pain. Gasping for breath, Hel would try to fight through it all, forcing herself slowly to roll over onto her hands and knees and try to lunge and tackle Chigusa once more, aiming to fall atop her and lock in a sleeper hold of her own. A very risky maneuver given Hel's state.

Chigusa favored the arm that struck the mat a bit, trying to get the pain to go away. She got up right as Hel was turning over. She was tired, but not tired enough to let Hel just hit her. She was more fresh than Hel given that she had taken less damage. Hel lunged forward, but Chigusa was too quick. She used Hel's motion to flip her over her back and then pin down Hel with a reverse Schoolgirl pin.

"One!" the referee yelled, beginning the count.

The world spun around as Hel found herself flipped to the mat once more, pinned. Dazed, exhausted, and aching, she didn't even notice the count of "TWO!"... and couldn't get her arms to react in time for the count of "THREE!" and the sound of the bell.

At the sound of the bell, Hel went limp, growling angrily. "Dammit dammit DAMMIT." She hissed beneath her breath.

When Chigusa heard the referee finish the count, she sighed with relief and got up off of Hel. She waved to the cheering crowd, filled with her fans who were glad and relieved that their idol was going to advance to the next round. Chigusa, after her short celebration, knelt down beside Hel. "Hey, are you ok?" Chigusa asked Hel, carefully since Hel seemed to be angry, but still with unfeigned concern.

Hel let out a huff. She wasn't really mad at Chigusa... but she certainly was too mad at the outcome to talk to Chigusa in a civilized manner. With a pained grunt, she started rolling out of the ring, "I'm fine, I'm fine. Just... loser's remorse, blah blah." She grumbled, trying to keep her cool as she stumbled her way out of the ring and away to backstage, trying not to face Chigusa, waving off AFW employees offering to help her.

Chigusa wins by pinfall.
