AZUMI vs Atalante

Panting out as she pushed herself up to her feet, sweat covering her brow Azumi stood across of Atalante as the two faced off both showing the signs of the fast pace battle, more so with Azumi as she hunched over with her hands on her knees. "Ha...ha...Nah, I thought you might be this stubborn." she gasped out as Atalante smashed her in the face with a forearm. The blow whipped Azumi back as she stumbled, holding a hand up to her face as she growled, twisting back to Atalante to try and nail her in the side of the ribs with a kick!

Atalante smashed her forearm right into Azumi's face and with it made her stumble back a bit. Readying herself for Azumi to retaliate....she'd keep her eyes fixed on the HEAT ace and when she threw that leg up she'd try and brace, looking to catch that leg in action.

It would smash into her side and cause the Grecian to wince out in pain, but she wasn't about to go down from the blow, instead she'd try and wrap her arms around that leg and flash a pained grin towards Azumi. Only to then try and twist and flip, aiming to throw Azumi down onto the canvas with a Dragon Screw in an attempt to cause that leg some serious pain!

Azumi's leg crashed into Atalante's side but her eyes widened when her opponent caught her leg afterwards, refusing to let her go as she had to hop around on one leg. She didn't have to worry about that problem soon as Atalante gave a Dragon Screw legwhip back for the earlier one, twisting Azumi off of her feet as she crashed into the mat! Crying out as Azumi shot her hands to her knee, the twisting nature of the move felt like it pulled some muscles bad as she clutched at her knee!

Atalante winced a bit from having absorbed that kick to her side, letting out a little moan of pain as she rose up towards her feet. Shaking her head as she looked down towards Azumi as she was clutching her leg like that. The Grecian would try and move up towards her and try and grab the HEAT ace and try and pull her up towards her feet.

Looking to step back and line Azumi up as she'd try and swing her leg up and curve it mid air down towards the side of Azumi's head. Aiming to smack that kick straight into her head with that Antares Kick finishers, looking to knock Azumi's lights out!

Azumi's face twisted in pain as she clutched at her knee as Atalante picked her up by the hair, stumbling back on one good leg as she was trying to find her balance as she was left to stand on her own, struggling to do so before she was finally able to. But it gave Atalante all the time in the world to line her up as she shuffled back before firing forward, her leg lashing outward before snapping back in to crash against Azumi's head.

The thunderous crack rang out as Azumi's head whipped to the side before she collapsed down onto the mat like a toppling tree, crashing into the mat out cold on her front!

Driving her foot into the side of Azumi's head as the thunderous crack of the impact rang out of the arena, watching the HEAT ace then crumble and collapse down onto her front. Atalante would huff out as she would quickly try and move down and roll Azumi over onto her front.

Looking to place herself on top of her foe and hook one of Azumi's legs to try and go for that pin attempt!

Azumi groaned as she was rolled over onto her back, weighed down like a sack of potatoes as Atalante's only resistance was her weight which didn't give much to flop Azumi down onto her back as she was laid out, arms spread as Atalante laid on top of her. There was no resistance from Azumi as her head and mind were wandering about in a mist after that snapping kick to the head!

"ONE!"

Pressing her weight down on Azumi, she held firmly onto that leg of the HEAT ace as she would keep the that extra bit of leverage on her Japanese foe. The referee would start to perform the count....

"TWO!" she called out as she slapped her hand down for a second time and with it the blonde would try and lean further into the hold. She was confident in her lethal finisher but Azumi so far had seemed like the cream of the crop and she couldn't waste this perfect chance at a victory she had here.

"THREE!"

The bell rang as Azumi laid defeated on the mat, groaning out as her head was still dazed and hazy from the nasty kick as she was disappointed in herself. Even with the time away from the ring she still thought that she had more to give. But Atalante was no easy rookie, she brought the fight right to her and it was a fast and ferocious pace, too much for the former HEAT Ace to handle.

Atalante held onto that leg and pressed her weight down onto that chest of Azumi up until the three count and then all the way up to the bell ringing. Releasing the leg she'd let out a soft huff as she'd start to push herself up towards a seated position.

Looking over her shoulder at Azumi, she'd start to push up to her feet and then offer a hand down to the raven haired woman. " You were as tough as I expected." Atalante said as she'd help the woman up towards her feet, " Couldn't have asked for a better opponent for a debut."
