AZUMI vs Atalante

Shoving into Atalante, Azumi pushed off of the ropes as she followed Atalante to force as much momentum into her opponent to throw her off. Her gambit succeeded as she managed to get Atalante off of her and sent her running across the ring, Azumi stopping herself a step before the center as she waited for Atalante to come running back before springing into action.

Taking a step forward, Azumi would leap into the air as she brought both feet up, timing Atalante’s approach back to her as she attempted to drive both feet into her chest for a drop kick!

Atalante came bouncing off of the ropes and with it was forced to run right back towards Azumi! The nationally famous star came running right at her and before Atalante could do much about it or react to it, the raven haired wrestler jumped up and drove her boots right into the chest of the newcomer!

"Guh!" Atalante let out as she was thrown off of her feet and fell right onto her back with a thud, air shooting out of her lungs as she ended up flat on the mat with her arms going to her chest.

Landing with precision and timing, Azumi nailed Atalante right in the chest, blasting her off of her feet as Azumi twisted her body with the momentum from the blow as she flipped over in mid air as she landed on her front. Quickly she would push herself up to her feet as Atalante was grounded, needing to keep up her attack as she would grab onto the heels of Atalante. Pulling them up and locking them underneath her armpits, Azumi quickly tried to step over Atalante, twisting her over as she tried to lock in a Boston crab!

Atalante had been taken right down with that drop kick which left the Green-blonde newcomer to cough as she laid on her back, though she would bring her hand up towards her chest and rub it a bit where those boots of Azumi had crashed into her chest.

As she was vulnerable, Azumi decided to take full advantage of her current state and using her speed she moved up and took a hold of the Grecian's legs and then turned her over! Putting her onto her front and stepping over her as she locked in that Boston Crab submission hold.

"Aaah..." Atalante groaned out as she felt the pain already start to set into her hips, shaking her head a bit as she'd look over her shoulder at the HEAT ace, before she'd try and throw elbow back into Azumi's side in frustration and tryin gto annoy and maybe hurt the raven haired woman with said elbow.

Azumi sat on the back of Atalante, the former Ace held tightly on the legs to wrench back on her opponent to stretch out her body as she arched back to tighten the hold. Looking over her shoulder to watch her opponent’s movements, she saw Atalante struggling to get out as she smiled. “Not going to make this easy for you!” She shouted out as Atalante’s elbow slammed into her side, grunting out.

She lessened the hold, but kept it locked refusing to let go of her opponent as she would attempt to switch the hold to keep pressure on her opponent, releasing a leg to reach back, trying to hook onto Atalante’s arm as she would release the other leg to spin around, dropping her side into Atalante’s shoulder while pulling on her arm, trying to lock in a Fujiwara armbar!

Atalante threw her elbow back and smashed it into the side of AZUMI, it seemed for a few seconds as if it might have worked, the hold of Azumi weakened and Atalante was about to try and pull free, but it seemed as if Azumi had another plan. As she took a hold of Atalante's arm and then rolled up into a Fujiwara armbar instead.

"Aaah!" The Grecian let out, her arm numbing a bit from the hold as she would kick her feet against the canvas. " Guess you're not..." Atalante spoke out as she would try and use her legs and her free arm to pull them closer and closer towards the ropes. Trying to get towards them so she could call for a rope break.

Azumi wrenched on the hold, pulling on Atalante’s arm while shoving down on her side right into the back of the shoulder, looking to hyperextend the arm and wear out the limb. But Atalante wasn’t one to quit, Azumi didn’t expect anything less from her as her opponent pulled them towards the rope. Azumi tried to slow her opponent down by shoving down as much as she could to weight the two down but Atalante was stubborn.

The closer they got to the ropes, Azumi thought of a way to keep the situation in her favor as Atalante reached out, just about to grab onto the rope as Azumi released the armbar, rolling down Atalante’s body and down to her legs, she tried to grab onto the foot of Atalante, trying to yank her back towards the center and away from the ropes as she tried twisting at the ankle!

Atalante was almost within reach of those ropes and was just about to find her way to freedom, until Azumi decided to release her and then rolled off of her, grabbing onto the Grecian's foot instead and then pulled her away from the ropes. Atalante would flail her arms in a fruitless effort to try and grab onto the bottom ropes, though she was just being pulled further and further away from the ropes.

Instead Azumi decided to lock her up for another painful hold, as she transitioned the hold into that of a Ankle lock! Wincing out and shaking her head, Atalante knew well enough that Azumi was a tough fighter but so far she was really putting on quite the show.

However, in the position she was in now, Atalante had one way to deter the HEAT ace. Looking to place her hands down against the canvas and push up from the canvas a bit, bending her free leg towards her....before then shooting it back, trying to nail Azumi in the belly with a mule style kick! Looking to make use of her powerful sprinters legs to knock the air out of Azumi, hopefully.

Azumi twisted the ankle, trying to keep Atalante off balance as she tried to twist the ankle into a more suitable ankle lock to really work over her opponent. However, teh switching of the holds always meant that there was an opening to exploit and Atalante found the timing and opening to do so as she pushed off of the mat, elevating her up and giving space for her to swing her leg back and nail Azumi right in the chest.

“Guuuuh!” Azumi let out as she was forced to let go, the air in her lungs taken out as she stumbled back, releasing the leg as she tried to catch her breath!

Slamming the soles of her boot into Azumi's gut was satisfying, especially with getting that guttural grunt out of the HEAT ace. Atalante would quickly push up towards her feet and turn to face Azumi, taking a quick breath before she'd run straight at her. Looking to charge right in at the retreating Azumi.

She'd try to run at her and then jump up! Looking to snatch her legs around that head and lock them in as she'd come swinging down. Looking to pull and drag Azumi along with her for the ride, as she would aim to take Azumi down with a quick running Hurricanrana.
