Kyo Akamatsu vs Daisuke Kamiya

The facial expression shown by Lina when Daisuke decided to throw herself into Kyo was one of shock, but then excitement quickly after as Dai took him down. Normally she's one to keep thing inside the ropes, but Dai showed she can throw caution to the wind at times. Good thing for her she struck her target on this attempt. Not doing so could end up being messy. "Yeah that's how you do it!" Lina commented as Dai stood back up.

Daisuke could feel the positiveness both Lina and those around her were showing, which encouraged her to keep at it even more so. With that going through her mind she bent down to grab hold of Kyo. She looked behind her for a quick moment before attempting to lift him up for a vertical suplex, wanting to drop him down on the on the runway area behind her.

Kyo's back was raw with pain now as he lay on the ring floor, flattened against it by Dai's suicide dive. In retrospect, he was grateful that the fall had occurred on the padded area outside the ring, but the blow still left his back throbbing, not to mention the way the impact itself left him out of breath. Groaning, he tried to will his body to move, trying to do something, anything, rather than just lie there at Dai's mercy.

Dai wasn't giving him that chance, though. He felt himself being grabbed...then lifted up...and his body tilted backwards, head over heels, before being slammed down on the mats again! His back arched up, a silent scream of pain escaping his lips before he toppled onto his side, groaning. Right now, he was not doing so well-- the tag team champ had come prepared to wage war, and he was going to be on the recieving end until she won.

With the momentum going her way and the crowd getting behind her, Dai felt like she could be out there all day, though obviously that couldn’t happen as one could only be on the outside for so long before getting counted out. She would have went back on her own anyway, but after the suplex the referee stopped the count and joined them on the outside, reminding Dai to keep things on the inside, as from where they were things could have easily have gotten farther away from the ring without them realizing it.

That didn’t bother she as she was intending to take the fight back inside the ropes. Lifting Kyo up against she went to return him to the inside of the ring, but before she could do that she noticed a fan sitting by the railing, looking pretty comfortable with his feet up. “Hey!” she hoped to get the fan’s attention. “Hold it like that for a moment if you’d please.” Before the fan could tell what Dai was talking about, she introduced Kyo’s face to the fans foot.

If Kyo wasn’t able to resist that the crowd would find Dai’s little detour amusing, taking a second to highfive the fan in question before Dai rolled Kyo back inside the ring. Lina saw what went down and liked what she saw. “Yeah fan interaction wooo!” She turned her attention back to the ring as she saw Kyo back inside. She didn’t see where Dai was at first, but then looked up and saw that Daisuke was climbing to the top rope. The one half of the tag team champions was looking to pickup where things left off on the outside and leaped, looking to strike down on Kyo with a double knee drop.

Kyo's groaned as he rolled over onto his front, clutching his hurting back. The match had started off well before, but now...now Dai was practically having her way with him, throwing him around like so much dead weight. As he struggled to return to his knees, he was pulled up by Dai and dragged to the fence. For a moment he blinked, and saw Dai interacting with a fan. Was she going for a selfie while holding him up? Really? His answer came as Dai shoved him forward, slamming him face first into the fan's extended shoe.

"UUUGH!" He sagged on his feet at that moment, and would have fallen over if Dai hadn't been propping him up. Groaning, he felt himself being pushed into the ring. He flopped onto his back, stars clouding his vision as he tried to force his eyes open.

He opened them...just in time to see Dai leaping down at him from the top rope. Without even thinking, he kicked up, hoping to catch her across the chest as she came down!

It looked like Dai was on target, but that didn't mean Kyo couldn't put something in front of said target, IE his leg, which unexpectedly caught her in the chest, halting her momentum in an instant. Landing close to him instead of on top of him, Dai clutch her chest from the sudden pain she felt from the foot catching her, instead of her being the one to make him feel it hard there.

From Lina's point of view, she looked excited as Dai took to the air, though she became quiet and sloped herself down low, resting her arms against the edge of the ring apron. 'Well that sucked' she comment as a quiet, but spoken thought.

The audience collectively winced as Dai came dropping down on Kyo with a big knee drop...only to instead impale herself on Kyo's foot. As the tag team champ crumpled to the mat clutching her chest, Kyo sat back up. He had a second chance now, and he wasn't going to waste it.

Standing back up, he grabbed Dai by her blonde head to pull her back up. Moving too quickly for her to hopefully react, he would tuck her head under his shoulder and grab her thigh, lifting and back and keeping her tilted upside down for a few seconds before dropping down to nail her in a suplex!

If it wasn’t for her rough landing, Dai might have been able to, at the very least, shove him away. Since however her high risk move, as they call it, off the top didn’t go as planned, Kyo had zero issues with setting her up for and executing the suplex.

From where she was ringside, Lina looked back up just as Dai was brought down on her back from the move. It was obvious to her that what momentum Dai had a few seconds ago was now gone. It wasn’t the end of the line right now, but Lina knew determination when she saw it, and from what she could tell, Kyo didn’t come across as someone who would waste an opening like this, and so far she isn’t wrong on that. Despite Dai being taken up and down with the suplex after the rough landing, Lina tried to remain calm about the situation. There wasn’t a need to hit the panic button yet, and if she was able to keep cool herself, maybe that feeling Dai could absorb.

However Dai wasn’t in a position to do that other than let out a small grown after striking the canvas from the suplex. She was still feeling the sting from the sudden jolt Kyo’s foot gave her not long ago, and that last maneuver didn’t help improve things.

Sitting up after executing that suplex, Kyo took a few seconds to catch his breath. He was in the driver's seat again, after spending several unpleasant minutes getting roughed up by Dai, and he might not get a second opportunity against an opponent of her caliber. Without wasting any further time, Kyo would stand back up again, grabbing Dai by the arm as he did so to pull the Canadian woman to her feet.

Wordlessly, Kyo used his grip on Dai to seemingly whip her towards the ropes...except, instead of letting her go, he would instead suddenly move behind her, folding her arm behind her back and wrapping an arm around her back. If he managed that, then he would lift her off the mat, hoping to go for a belly to back suplex that he would immediately bridge into a pin!

With the time Kyo took to get some air in and go for his next move, also gave Dai a chance to breathe as well, but nothing more than that as Kyo got back on her quickly before she could begin to even consider processing who was where. Being pulled up she felt herself on the move, but counted put a stop to it as Kyo took her off the grounding, connecting with the belly to back and holding on for the pin. This wasn't a sight Lina wanted to see, however at the very least Dai managed to get a shoulder up after a solid count of two. "Hang in there Dai!" Lina called out "Don't over think!" Easy for her to say, for she wasn't the one in the ring. But for everything Kyo dished out to Dai, she could feel it as well.

Elsewhere in the arena, Sion was watching thing in the ring unfold. With what was happening at the current moment made him look on with a look of concern. He's seen Dai in tough situations before, so he didn't feel too worried that she might lose, but the concern was there that if she remained in the current predicament that could very well end up being the case. 'Come on Daisuke" he said to himself. 'You got this.'

Kyo's moved worked almost perfectly, relying as it did on Daisuke still being too dazed to follow Kyo's movements as he darted in behind her at the last second, wrapping his arms around her and arching back to nail her with a back body drop-- one that he quickly transitioned into a pin by arching off the mat, keeping Daisuke folded over with her legs in the air and her shoulders on the mat.

The ref girl quickly began the countdown. "ONE...TWO..."

Dai's body jolted as the Canadian woman kicked out at the last second, flopping onto her side. Wiping some of the sweat from his brow, Kyo would move to grab her booted heels, before turning to flip over over onto her front. Upon doing that he would sit across her ass, pulling her leg across his shoulders as he bent it back at an extreme length in a stretch muffler!
