Kyo Akamatsu vs Daisuke Kamiya

When grabbing hold of Kyo's head, the referee went check to see if Dai had a legal hold on the head or a choke. Before a good look could be done however, Dai began to lift him up. While a creative combination, it wasn't one that that would from an as steady setup if they were both standing before hand. Still she lifted him up, but before she could get him completely upside his legs bent back and managed to find their way around her head. Before she could react to the unexpectedness of it she found herself being fliped over and held down in a pinning situation.

Before it happened, Lina was looking and feeling pretty position of the situation, but looked just as surprised as Dai wise, though her reaction was more visible to others as her mouth went wide. Before she could harvest a word she the referee was already in the process of making a pin count.

After the official got to two, Daisuke managed to get enough since back into her to smack Kyo in the sides of the head with both legs just below the knees while throwing a shoulder up to break what was a count of two and three quarters.

Kyo breathed deeply now that he was able to, having managed to free himself from Dai's dragon sleeper. He tried to grab a hold of his legs as he flipped her over, surprising Dai with his sudden rollup pin. Beside him, the ref girl dropped down and began slapping the mat.

"ONE! TWO--"

A second later, Dai's boots smacked against either side of Kyo's head. He cried out in surprise, releasing Dai as the blow momentarily stunned him. Dropping back, he rolled away, ignoring the faint ringing as his head as he tried to get back up to his knees, not wanting to be caught flat-footed again by the Tag Team Champion...

Despite being in good shape, if things kept up at this pace Lina could very well have a heart attack. That nearfall was a little too close for her liking, even though Dai managed to get out of it. Not wanting to be down for much longer in the event he was quick to recover, Dai picked herself up and if he managed find his footing she would rush towards him, looking to knock him against the ropes and possibly over. Though if he was just on his knees she would attempt to grab hold of him and toss him in the direction of between the middle and top ropes.

With the closeness of that last pin attempt was, Dai felt it was a good time to pick up the pace.

As fast as Kyo wanted to move, that last blow to his head had really slowed him down. Grimacing, he was on his knees as Dai came at him again, grabbing him by the arms. In an instant, he was yanked to his feet and tossed towards the ropes.

Thinking quickly, Kyo grabbed for the ropes, avoiding falling through them at the last second. Taking a deep breath, he would push off the ropes, trying to surprise Dai with a spinning booot to the head as he tried to hit her with a counter attack!

Lina wasn't sure what Dai was going for by throwing Kyo towards the ropes, though it didn't seem to matter now as Kyo was holding on to them. From the looks of things what ever Dai was plotting would have to wait until later possibly. After seeing Kyo use them to keep himself on the inside, Dai was about to move towards him, though she wasn't as quick about it as she could have been. Luckily for her not doing so this time around allowed her to see a spinning foot coming her way. If she ran in with the speed she initially grabbed Kyo she would have ran right into it, however she saw it coming towards her. She had to be quick about it though, and as she saw it come towards her she attempted to matrix-like bend backwards, hoping it would sail over her, though that would be a matter of how quick he was coming at her and if her reaction was fast enough.

Kyo was acting on instinct now, grabbing the ropes before he could collide with them and pushing off, hoping to surprise Dai with a sudden retaliation! His left leg kicked up, his body spinning around as he tried to nail Dai with a surprise kick to the head! He dimly recalled Makie once showing him a skit by some Canadian comedy group where the phrase "boot to the head" was frequently repeated. To him, it felt all too appropriate to use a boot to the head on his Canadian opponent.

Except it never landed: showing reflexes that surprised even Kyo, Dai arced her body back gracefully, Kyo's boot missing her head by mere inches. She dodged it?!! He barely had a few seconds to right himself, stomping his foot back on the mat and narrowly avoiding losing his balance-- though he lost valuable seconds that Dai was sure to take advantage of...

While this wasn't a popularity contest, Daisuke's method of avoiding the contact did earn her the approval of those watching. Even though she managed to avoid getting kicked in head, remaining in such a position wouldn't do her any favours, plus it would feel awkward after a while. With no thoughts of wanting to remain as such, after she knew for sure she was in the clear, she would pull herself back to a standing position and take a couple of quick steps forward before executing a dropkick in his direction.

Kyo was still unbalanced after missing with his shooting kick. And vulnerable for a few vital seconds-- seconds that Daisuke wasted no time exploiting. As Kyo righted himself and turned around, Dai was already diving at him with a drop kick.

"OOOOMPH!" he gasped, the blow knocking him off his feet. He was sent rolling under the ropes and tumbling to his back outside, groaning as he clutched his chest.

Good thing Lina wasn’t near Kyo when the momentum from the dropkick caused him to exit the ring. She kept an eye on Daisuke to see what she would do next. After standing back up and moving a hand through her she noticed where Kyo was. She made a camera lens gesture with her fingers, as if she was sizing him up for something, though wanting him to get off his back in the process.

When Kyo would next begin moment, Dai would continue to do so until he got to a positioning she liked. Not necessarily vertical, but enough so where she guessed he would be when the time that she was looking for came, she went off the ropes, opposite of where Kyo was. Coming off them she ran towards the ropes where Kyo was, and when she to close enough she left her feet to leap through the ropes to take him out with a suicide dive, intending to time her leap through the ropes as soon as he was completely vertical. Though with the way she was trying to time it, it left no room for error.

"D...damn it..." Kyo groaned as he lay sprawled on his back. At this moment, it was safe to say that Ms Kamiya was kicking his ass. Getting his palms underneath him, he.pushed himself up, not wanting to let himself be floored for long...especially against someone like Daisuke. Gritting his teeth, he sprang up to his feet, glancing around to see where Daisuke was.

He was a shadow pass, looked up and saw Daisuke...coming down at him in a suicide dive.

He gasped as Daisuke slammed bodily into him, sending him thudding once again onto his back. The crowd went wild at Daisuke's high flying move, but Not was now stunned, hurting more than before.
