Kyo Akamatsu vs Daisuke Kamiya

Not long was Lina impressed with what she saw from Kyo so far, she also felt there same with Daisuke so far. Sure at the current moment in time Kyo had the better positioning, though not panicking in said situation made Dai not look bad to her. Lina would become vocal when Dai not only broke free from Kyo's grip, but also yanking his footing out form under him. "Yeah there you" she'd comment. As she finished showing her approval for the moment, she noticed Dai about to take advantage of the situation.

With him down, Dai looked to follow up with the take down by grabbing hold of the leg she just tripped and dropping a quick elbow to the inside part of part of the back of knee.

Kyo winced a little from the impact, though he had taken far worse. Now was the part of the match where Dai was showing that she, too, had plenty of technical skills, that she didn't wear that fancy belt for nothing. No sooner had Kyo had this thought than Dai dropped down, ramming an elbow into the back of his own knee. He winced further as pain shot through his leg, his lower body jolting as Dai tried to keep him under control.

He gasped loudly, and immediately did one of the few things he could do: he rolled, moving to put some distance between Dai and his hurting leg before he got back up...

Giving a look of approval, Lina saw Kyo’s reaction to Dai dropping the elbow. It was good to see Dai gaining the advantage, however getting it was one thing, it is a whole other matter of keeping it. Daisuke knew that as well, and she noticed Kyo trying to roll away to get some distance. She had a ‘oh no you don’t’ looks on her face and she attempted to grab hold of the same leg again as he attempted to get distance between them.

If she managed to do so successfully she would look to give him a similar strike to the same spot as she just did seconds ago.

Kyo's leg was hurting now. That was the foremost thought in his mind as he rolled away from Dai, trying to put some distance between them. Unfortunately, Dai wasn't going to let him get away that easily. Of course she wouldn't, why should she? Kyo definitely wouldn't have if their positions were reversed.

Feeling his leg being grabbed again, Kyo reacted a little more quickly this time-- swiveling his body around, he swung out with his other leg, aiming to kick low at Dai's heels while kicking out with his free leg to throw her off.

Grabbing the same leg a second time, Lina could tell that Dai was beginning to target a specific body part. Nothing wrong with that mindset, though she wouldn't get to see Dai go through with the thought as Kyo was still very much responsive as Kyo kicked Dai in the back part of the foot. Dai winced a little at the contact, as well at let go of the leg she was holding. "Shake it off D, shake it off." Lina called out to her not wanting to see Dai's mindset thrown off.

Daisuke looked to do just that, though that did give Kyo a slight opening to make a move if he was quick enough to followup.

Kyo's counter worked, forcing Dai back and giving him some time to recover-- time that he wasn't going to waste. Using his momentum, Kyo kicked backwards, flipping back to his feet so that, for a brief second, he was standing opposite Dai again.

That is, before he charged forward, kicking out with the same leg that Dai had been hammering to nail Dai hard in the chest-- and, more imporantly, ready to spin into an enziguri kick in case Dai was catch enough to catch his foot!

It didn't take her long to do just that, and when she forgot about Kyo kicking him seconds ago she saw him coming right for her. She didn't have much time to react though so she had to take a guess on what he might do as he closed in. She anticipated for him to strike her, which she managed to guess correctly, managing to grab a hold of his foot.

However, before she could come up with a way to counter it, she found herself falling down to her knees before continuing to fall forward. She turned onto her back before holding onto the back of her head. At first it Lina grinned when Dai put a stop to what Kyo was thinking of, though that quickly turned into a look of concerning seeing Daisuke back down following catching his other foot upside the head.

Kyo's enziguri kick had worked lime a charm, knocking Dai down and leaving her reeling. The crowd was getting riled up at the site of the tag team champion lying stunned on the mat, and Kyo was quick to take advantage

Crawling over across Dai, he hooked one of her legs for the pin. Immediately, the ref girl began the countdown. "ONE..."

Lina had a look of anxiousness seeing Kyo wanting to end this early. 'Not like this Dai' she thought as she saw the ref moving into position to count. Fortunately, when the ref got to two, Dai managed to throw a shoulder up. 'Thank god' she said quietly. It might sound like she was watching a different match, but she still tried to be positive. "You got this Dai you got this" Lina stated as she clapped a couple of times while moving a foot or so down the outside part of the ring.

Unlike Daisuke's recent matches, Sion wouldn't be there to bail her out if things go really south. Lina was still in her corner, but it was up to Dai to take care of matters inside the ropes. Lina's confident it can be done, though what just went down was a reminder that coming out on top isn't as easy as some say it can be.

Dai locked out before the 2 count, not to Kyo's surprise. He had figured that a tag team champion like Daisuke wouldn't go down so easily, and that if he really wanted to win against her, he would have to do a lot more than that.

Grabbing Dai by her ponytail, her propped her up into a sitting position before grabbing at her wrists, digging a knee into her back as he tried to pick in a surfboard hold!
