Kyo Akamatsu vs Daisuke Kamiya

Before Daisuke could attempt to do anything productive after the kickout, Kyo was back on her quickly. His form didn't go over well with Lina as he put Dai in a sitting position "Hey hey, get 'em off the hair, ref." While she didn't think anything would come of it, she wasn't wrong to mention it. As far as Dai was concerned, she didn't have as much of a willing to given alerted reaction as she was sat up, though she was aware of the situation when he began to pull her arms back and his knees against her as well.

Reacting to the first logical thought that came to her mind, Dai attempted to yank one of her arms free from his grasp. Might not be fancy, but it seemed like a less-complicated method of escape.

Kyo held his breath as he managed to grab for Dai's wrists, before locking in the surfboard hold. To Daisuke's credit, if she was in pain then she wasn't showing it, barely making as sound as she instead began to pull her wrists back to free them from Kyo's grip. Before Kyo realized it, she had given a quick yank, and, just like that, had pulled one of her arms free. Already, Kyo's hold was unraveling.

Knowing he had to do something, Kyo used his grip on Dai's remaining arm to pull her upright, before whipping her towards the ropes, aiming to run past her and hit her with a snap kick to her head or chest as she rebounded!

Before she could followup to pulling her first arm away from him, Kyo pulled her back to her feet and sent her towards the ropes. Coming off the ropes she saw him coming right for her. She had to act fast and attempted to sidestep while continuing to move forward. If she managed to avoid the contact she would go off the far side and come back at him and leap in his direction with a spinning discus forearm.

As Daisuke came bouncing off the ropes, Kyo was already running to meet her. He knew he couldn't afford to hold back against someone of Daisuke's calibre, and so had no qualms about using a brutal move like a snap-kick to her face like this. The moment his foot lashed out, however, Daisuke almost casually side-stepped. Alarmed, Kyo narrowly lost his balanced, his leg landing awkwardly as he tried to keep from falling over.

A second later, Daisuke's leaping forearm clubbed into his head. "UGH!" he grunted as he was clotheslined hard to the mat, lying on the mat temporarily stunned by the powerful hit. He had aimed big, missed, and had just been nailed by a brutally effective counter...

"Alright, there we go" Lina stated confidently as Daisuke took Kyo down. As sharp as Kyo looked early on, Dai was just as alert. There might have been some luck in her timing as she still could have made the same action yet still get kicked. Fortunately for her the opposite happened on that exchange. With how Kyo's been up to this point, Dai had a feeling it wouldn't be a good move to give more time than necessary between moves, who knows how soon he could change things. With that thought in mind she would quickly mount him and fire off a couple of forearm strikes to the head in order to give her control of him before lifting him up to execute a saito suplex.

Kyo's head rang slightly as he tried to sit up. He was still a little stunned, both literally and figuratively, by Dai's out of nowhere clothesline. Before he could even get back up, though, Dai was straddling him. His head rocked once, twice, three times as she fired close shots into his forehead, keeping him stunned as he kicked uselessly at the mat. "Ugh...UGH!"

He was still dizzy as he was pulled up again, Dai's arms wrapping around his chest. Next he knew he was filed backwards, slammed hard onto the mat with a suplex. His body jolted before he flopped over onto his front, groaning and unmoving.

What Lina saw in Kyo early on she was starting to see in Dai, not that she hasn't before obviously, but for this particular match. Seeing Dai not letting up was a welcomed sight, even more so when she saw Dai take the guy down with one of a variety of suplexes that that blonde knew. Lina clapped a couple of times in approval of Dai's choice of offense before observing Dai attemping to pin the opposition, lateral press with holding one of the shoulders down with her hands.

Kyo was still on his front, groaning from the impact of the suplex, when he felt Dai handling him again. At the moment, he was powerless to resist Dai as she shoved him onto his back, covering him for a lateral pinfall. In an isntant, the ref girl was next to them, starting the countdown.

"ONE....TWO..."

Cursing, Kyo twisted to the side at the last moment, breathing hard as he got a shoulder up. If Dai was going to win this, then she would need to try a lot harder than that to defeat him...

It felt a bit soon for Daisuke to put Kyo away from what Lina could tell, though Dai thinking she should pull off a pin here wasn't an issue, though the timing of his kickout felt almost like a slight tease.  Did the impact really make him kickout when he did, or could he have done so sooner and wanted to make the ladies sweat it out and give him an extra moment's rest?  That thought crossed Lina's mind briefly, but she shook it off.  If the match had a longer life to it than it had Dai might have questioned the count, but she didn't feel the need to, especially when Lina told her after she got off of him "Stay smart out there Dai, stay smart."

Keeping her eyes on him, Dai would sit him up into a seated position before looking to lock in a dragon sleeper, though with the intent of using it as a setup for something else. If she managed to get it applied and the referee moved in to check on Kyo, she would attempt to left him up over her head with a reverse suplex to bring him facedown behind her.

Kyo managed to get his shoulder up just in time, breaking Dai's pin attempt. The match was still early, and Dai would need to try a lot harder than that to put Kyo down, but at the same time, she was doing a lot to keep the pressure on him as well. So far, Daisuke Kamiya was living up to his expectations, giving him a tough fight that was doing a lot to keep him on his toes. And by the look of things, Daisuke wasn't even close to being done yet.

He groaned a little as he was pulled into a seated position, before he felt her press up behind, sliding an arm around his throat and bending him back painfully in a dragon sleeper! He gagged, pawing at Dai's arm as his back arched and his abs were stretched by the hold. Clenching his teeth as Dai worked him over, he suddenlly felt her lifting him, the blood rushing to his head as he was lifted upside down in a suplex.

Instinct kicked in. He kicked out with his legs, trying to latch them around Dai's head. Shifting his weight, he tried to suddenly drop back, hoping to surprise Dai by flipping her onto her shoulders for a sitout pin!
