Katori Kimura vs. Blossom Fields - Youth In Revolt

Blossom was feeling particularly aggressive for this bout. Not because she had anything against Katori or was out to get her anything like that - truth told, she already liked her crayon-colored foe, and wouldn’t have had any problems getting to know her better outside the ring.

No, she was driven more now than ever after having come back from her hiatus, returning to the ring and finally finding some success. This was her second chance, maybe her last chance, at finding success in the AFW, and she wasn’t about to waste.

That was what pushed her. That was what drove her. That was used as fuel when she came barreling towards Katori and seized her in the headlock. But there was some wisdom to taking things slower, too, and she couldn’t miss it when sudden resulted in her getting flipped over.

Blossom came down for a not-so-gracious crash on her bottom after Katori evaded her grab, sending a shock through her spine. She rose from this, too, though it was a much slower affair this time, with her nursing her back along the way.

After having ducked under a grapple attempt than lifted up and slammed Blossom down onto her back with a Backdrop slam, Katori rolled a bit away from the girl before using her own rolling momentum to quickly get back onto her feet. Some of her sudden adrenaline from her quick thinking maneuver cooled down a bit as the blunette took a deep breath.

With how the tomboyish looking wrestler was coming at Katori the way that she was, it was easy to figure out that Blossom was eager to prove herself and the strengthen the fire in her wrestling spirit. For whatever reason, the Wrestle Angel didn't know, but it certainly was an admirable thing for her new rival.

But it wasn't time for the Mighty Successor to keep still, she needed to press on! With Blossom slowly getting back to her feet it was imperative for Katori to take advantage of this. After taking another deep breath, Katori will start to run towards the ropes in front of her, bouncing off of them to come back towards her opponent as she'll leap up in the air and attempt to hit Blossom with a Leg Drop!

Okay. Just a backdrop. Blossom could get up from this, no problem. She’d be fine. Just fine.

That was what she kept repeating in her head, anyway. In practice, however, things weren’t quite as simple as all that.

Her back wasn’t doing well from the repeated abuse in such a short amount of time, and she found herself trying and failing to get back up, to just get erect, much less get to her feet. She would be fine in a minute, she was sure, but the question was whether or not Katori would even give her that minute to recover.

The answer, no big surprise, was no, and it came in the form of a leg drop on Blossom’s trouble. The pint-sized powerhouse spasmed about on the floor, crying out, before she came to a rest beneath her foe, wincing at the pain coursing through her chest.

Hm. This had gone downhill fast, hadn’t it?

Katori has gotten her eager opponent in a pinch, now it was time to capitalize on the advantage! It definitely will help lean this match more into her favor, after all.

With a solid Leg Drop that was boosted by the momentum from running and bouncing off the ropes, the young angel scored a direct hit on Blossom that further kept her flatten on the mat. Of course though, it probably won't be enough to keep her down for long unless she did something.

And what better way to help out with that, than with a submission? After Katori gets back to her feet, if Blossom stays down she'll go over to her legs and grab them to lock tightly under her arms. With all she has, the Mighty Successor will attempt to completely roll Blossom onto her front and sit on the small of her back and pull back hard on her legs, applying a simple Boston Crab on her new rival.
