Tonight was another night for Avispa Negra, gearing up and getting ready for her match. Katori Kimura she had heard of before in a magazine for the company but hadn't much thought to her. She wasn just another face in the company of many. She had no time to remember sch when she was more focused on winning the match. Her time in AFW had already been stressful, being so far away from home and facing opponents that were she had to say pretty tough.

She got up, going through to the stage as her music began to play, acting tough as she walked down the ramp. Once to the ring, she made her way to the turnbuckle, climbing up to it and pointing up to the sky in salute. She didn't even smile once.

It was another new match for the excited successor of Wrestle Angel's ace as Katori got herself ready for tonight, doing some warm up stretches and putting on her lime green one-piece and lavender short jacket before the event started. She doesn't know much about her opponent in this match besides her name, but it was the name that intrigued her the most despite not knowing anything. "La Avispa Negra 'II'..." Katori mutters her opponent's name during her stretches, taking into account over a single detail and what it means. As it had II in it, that could only mean this woman is another successor to someone else in the same manner as Katori was the successor of Mighty Yukiko. Just knowing she was up against another successor like her was exciting, as successors were to be one of the ones who are to define the next generation of wrestlers that live up to a great legacy in the long run!

Once Katori finished her prepping and her name was called by some backstage hands, the angel got herself ready as she went over to the arena entrance to wait for that moment. As her song plays on the speakers, Katori bursts into the arena as the crowd cheers for the Mighty Successor once again to welcome her. She would stand on stage for a few seconds to wave at the audience before making her way down the ramp towards the ring, giving as much fans high fives and fist bumps as she did, as per her usual thing.

The young and energetic angel climbs up the apron and vaults herself over the top ropes of the ring, taking a glance at La Avispa Negra "II" as she did. It was hard to figure if she was serious, focused, mad, or competitive from her expression, but that'll be shown tonight when they duke it out. Katori walks over to her corner, climbing up the turnbuckle herself to give more waves with both hands to the audience who cheer once again for the angel. After that, Katori hops down from the corner and turns to face her opponent, greeting her with a competitive but friendly smile and a quick wave with her hand. "Hello there, fellow successor!"

Avispa ignored the girl, not really interested in what the spunky and fruity girl had to say to her. She paced around, the referee checking her over by the turnbuckle, touching up her boots to make sure nothing was hidden inside. Once they thought they had checked everything they could without finding any weapons, they went towards Katori, checking her for any illegal objects in the match, not that it seemed to matter, only checking for a few moments before giving the all clear. Now all there was is to wait for the bell and the match to begin, but the bell officiate wasn't there, having to grab a few papers from the TV commentators desk. It gave a few moments before the battle began truly.

Katori gave her fellow successor and opponent for the night a few seconds to come up with a retort back to her, as on top of wanting to have friendly banter she wanted to forge a friendly rivalry with Avispa Negra. When she didn't respond back the angel lowered her hand a bit and dropped her smile as she continued to stare at the brunette. Did she hit a nerve or something, or did she just had no intention of interacting with the former WA?

Whatever it was, it certainly was gonna make this match a bit bland if there is no chemistry between the wrestlers, both for the audience and for Katori. As the ref-girl checked La Avispa Negra for illegal objects, Katori brought a hand up to her chin and began to think. It was when the ref came to briefly check the angel that she came up with an idea.

While it may be a bit out of character, Katori decided to maybe goad her opponent into having banter before the match. She smirked as she brought her arms up to her sides and shrugged. "Huh...don't wanna talk, eh? Well, whatever, you'll have plenty to say when I kick your ass and prove I'm the mightiest successor there is!" The Mighty Successor lets out, sounding confident as she did while putting a hand on her hip and pointing at Avispa Negra as she says that last part.

If this doesn't cause the woman to interact with Katori and get into some friendly or not so friendly banter, then nothing will.

"You know you talk too much, I'm gonna have to fix that," she says stretching, somewhat giving in to the banter, "by beating that out of you. Don't know where you get this successor stuff from, La Avispa Negra is a title I earned, me entiendas" cracking her knuckles ready to fight.  She didn't really get where this girl was coming from. Something about the Wrestle Angels, some organisation her mother had probably wrestled for once maybe, she didn't know, nor did the Puerto Rican woman care, she was here now to do one thing, to win and beat Katori Kimura, no matter what the cost.

Katori giggled as she managed to spur her opponent into engaging in some pre-match banter with the young angel, smirking wildly at the promise to beat the talk out of Katori saying she'll "fix that". It was amusing as well to see La Avispa deny the fact she was a successor but at the same time saying she earned her name."Yes, you did earn that name. However, if you really forgotten, you are known as "La Avispa Negra II"." Katori said as she raises her hand up to lift two fingers while putting some emphasis on when she said two.

"Therefore, you inherited that name from someone before you and you are the successor to the name. Understand now?" The angel finished saying, while letting out a smile and a nostalgic sigh as she remembers way back when when after impressing her senpai Mighty Yukiko so much in a match with her despite losing that she was named her successor. It was such a fond memory for Katori.

But soon Katori drops the friendly expression and then smirks at La Avispa as she lowers her arms and clenches them into fists before stretching her arms. "Either way, the point is we're gonna have a very fun night tonight in the ring now." She says as she leans against her corner to await for the gong to ring and start this match.

This knowledge for the most part went completely over the Puerto Rican woman's head and seemed more annoyed about it than understanding. In fact, it may have just annoyed her more unfortunately and all Avispa now wanted to do was destroy the plucky young successor with all the power that should muster.

Before the bell even rung Avispa was already heading over towards Katori, pulling back a fist as it rung and the match was set, going to to send a powerful hay maker right to Katori, "Would you just shut up!" she cried out angrily, aiming all her power to send this girl down before the crowd could even react. Something had crossed the Wasps mind and that was to destroy this girl, even though it was somewhat unwarranted.

Despite all of what the Mighty Successor was saying, which were certainly sagely level words of wisdom to her, it apparently fell on def ears. Katori can see the anger in her opponent's face, but that's the problem though, what EXACTLY was she getting mad about? The angel said nothing wrong to instigate anyone to get back, and yet Avispa Negra is, which confused her greatly.

And it seems that also is making the woman come over to preemptively strike at Katori before the match began. Her eyes widen as Avispa rose that fist up and threw it at the angel just as the bell rang, but the tactic still caused the crowd to boo at her while Katori quickly and easily dodges to the side to avoid that Haymaker. "Whoa! What's your trivial malfunction?!" She let out as she dodged that nasty punch which would have not been pleasant had it hit her.

But Katori wasn't gonna let her opponent answer that at all, right after dodging the punch the angel will grab the punching arm with both hands then turn her back towards Avispa Negra to lean forward and pull on her opponent's arm to attempt to throw the woman over her and onto the mat with an Over-the-shoulder arm drag! "Well, whatever. Your short temper will have to wait til after I beat you." She'll say as she walks a few paces back to get some distance between them.

The punch was dodged and grabbed, Avispa struggling to get out before she was flipped over, landing hard on the mat with a hard thud. It was short lived her time on the mat for now, getting up with a quickness to her speed and movement, as if the arm drag was nothing more than a minor inconvenience and back at again.

She paced around Katori in a luchadora stance, staring down the successor like she was nothing more than prey for a hungry predator. She quickly pressed forward to try and lock up with her into a grapple, tying to pull her around a bit using her strength.

Katori dodged and countered a preemptive strike her rather angry opponent wanted to throw at her before the match started by throwing her over her shoulder and slamming the girl back first on the mat with a judo-esque throw. Clearly though, as Avispa Negra was as fresh as can be it hardly did much as she quickly got back up. Once Katori took a few steps back and got into a wrestling stance of her own as Avispa did, the match has officially started.

Now knowing what kind of opponent she was dealing with, the Mighty Successor tried to keep up her guard as often as she could while she started to circle around Avispa who was doing the same with her. Katori kept her eyes on the girl, switching back and forth between her eyes and her feet to watch her closely. The tension was high as the wrestlers stared each other down, but it wasn't long till the first move was made.

After a while La Avispa Negra threw herself and her arms at Katori to grapple with her. At that moment the angel would do the same too to engage in a grapple struggle with her. Already the woman was giving it her all, using all her strength to push around the angel. She felt her feet slide a bit against the ring floor, showing Avispa's strength against her. Katori will attempt to counter that putting all that she currently had into pushing the woman back towards the ropes, and if she is able to do so, she'll try to use Avispa's bounce momentum to send her running towards a corner on the opposite side of the ring with an Irish Whip!
