Yuki Onna vs. Katori Kimura

Tonight would be another night for Yuki Onna to have a match, and of course, she wanted to win this one. While she certainly had skills and talent, her performance had been less than stellar due to her momentum being inconsistent. She had been having more losses than wins, which spurred the blue-haired heiress to work harder, watching the matches of other wrestlers and doing anything she could to better herself. Of course, she had been nothing but a fledgling at the moment, but she knew that with hard work, she would be able to pave a way to the top and place herself among those who had put their names in history as the best among the best in the league.

As she waited in Gorilla position, Yuki received her cue, which meant it was her time to make her entrance. Her entrance song was played as she stepped out into the stage. She received modest pop from the fans, and she walked down the ramp, showing her appreciation to the crowd by bowing her head demurely and waving her hand. She knew that many considered her to be plain and uninspiring, but at least there were people who appreciated her performance in the ring.

Yuki Onna:

Yuki headed over to the ring and when she finally arrived, her song faded. Giving the crowd one last bow, she climbed into the ring and removed her oversized sleeves, leaving only a frilly white-and-blue armband on each arm. It was to make sure that her maneuvers would be unhindered while fighting her foe. After handing those sleeves to the ringside crew, she headed over to a corner and waited for her opponent to show up.

It was time for yet another match for the Mighty Successor of Wrestle Angels, and as always Katori is super stoked for tonight and cannot wait to duke it out with her new opponent. It really was nice that Katori was finally getting enough recognition with the management for them to take her seriously and to let her get more matches, shows how her hard work and determination is paying off and the angel will further prove it here!

As Katori finished getting ready in the locker room, she did some last minute stretches as she awaited her turn to be called after her opponent finishes up herself. Once she gets called, Katori puts on her short lavender jacket and makes her way to the entrance. After a few minutes of silence to calm things down, Katori'sentrance theme played on the loud speaker as she enters the arena to the thunderous welcoming cheers for the former Wrestle Angel as she stands on the stage waving both hands at the crowd with a wide happy and appreciative smile on her face.

Katori Kimura:

"Good evening, AFW!!!" Katori shouts at the top of her lungs, which is responded with more cheers. She then makes her way down the ramp towards the ring, giving high fives and fist bumps to as much fans as she can before arriving at the ring. Once there, Katori will climb up the apron and vault over the top rope while heading to her corner as her song begins to fade out. She turns and faces her opponent from her corner, looking at her with bewilderment and amazement of how beautiful she was and how her outfit went nicely with her appearance. As the angel finishes staring at her, she crosses her arms and looks on with a friendly but competitive expression.

Yuki Onna watched her opponent making her appearance. From what she had heard, she was from Wrestle Angels and a student of the famous Mighty Yukiko. It meant that this match would be something more difficult than the usual. Seeing that challenging look from her opponent, Yuki would respond with a polite bow, something that she would usually do before a match. When she straightened her back, she hardened her look, a determined expression on her face.

The ref would instruct both wrestlers to come to the center of the ring. The match would begin soon, which meant that she needed to take the initiative as soon as the bell was rung. When the referee called for the bell, Yuki would quickly make her move as she lunged towards Katori and attempted to deliver a shin kick to the side of Katori's body, hoping that it could momentarily stun her with that quick kick.

There's also a chance that Katori might catch the kick and trap her leg with her arm, in which Yuki would respond by using that as a leverage to lift herself up, aiming to deliver an enzuigiri to Katori's head.

Katori waited for when it was time to begin the match, keeping her eyes on Yuki Onna as she did. She certainly looked very regal in appearance which made her look graceful and elegant. Hell, if one didn't know any better from Yuki's appearance, it could probably be assumed that she was from Wrestle Angels as well. All Katori knew about her was she was another rookie, which means that the angel can test her opponent's skills out and see how she fares.

Before the ref-girl gestured for the two wrestlers to approach the ring's center, Yuki Onna gave a polite bow to Katori. She smiled more and bowed her head back in respect to her opponent but not as low as Yuki did as Katori moves close to the center.

Once that's been settled, Katori gets into her stance as the gong rings and the match starts. Already her opponent dashes in and throws a kick at the angel, one that she easily catches only for Yuki Onna to hop and swing her other leg at her head. Katori would let go of the grabbed leg to duck under the second kick. If Yuki fell down after being released then Katori will stomp down on her, if she somehow landed on her feet instead then the angel will leap up and attempt to Dropkick her.

Yuki Onna's kick was caught by Katori, which the blue-haired heiress would use as a leverage to execute an enzuigiri. But, that kick also failed as her fellow bluenette ducked under the kick. Going through the momentum, Yuki landed on her feet albeit a little unsteadily. Her opening attack was met with failure, and she needed another approach in order to gain advantage in this match. But, before she could press on, Katori went to deliver a dropkick into her chest, causing her to gasp and sending her tumbling down into the mat. "Ngh!!"

Yuki grimaced in pain as her back hit the canvas. Now, Katori had gained advantage over, but she did not let it to deter her as she would immediately attempt to roll over to her side before pushing herself up to her knees. She would focus on her opponent so that she could see any attack that might come her way. That way, she would be able to prepare to defend herself and then plan for a counter.

She would brush aside some stray blue locks off her eyes so that her vision would be unhindered. She was still on one knee, but at the very least she was looking at Katori's direction, which could at least allow her to see what the other bluenette would do to her next. Whether she was able to come up with a way to defend herself or to counter Katori's attacks was another matter entirely.

So far the match has started fine in Katori's favor, having blocked and ducked two of Yuki-Onna's kicks and countered with a Dropkick of her own. The angel landed on her back after landing the kick but she quickly pushed herself back up to her feet in time to see her opponent roll up herself to her knees. There are many things that Katori could attempt to do right now, but you know what? How about something simple and fitting, for a match starting tactic?

A few seconds after Yuki-Onna pushed up to her knee, Katori will move up forward to her with her arms up. Once she gets close enough, the angel will attempt to throw her arms at Yuki to grapple and struggle with her in a basic lock up. Katori will do this for a few seconds before quickly pulling Yuki back then wrap an arm around her neck to put her in a Headlock.

Moment after Yuki Onna pushed herself back on her feet, she was quickly put into a lock up with Katori, and due to her previous position, she was quickly overpowered in this contest of strength. "Grghh!" She grunted, trying to fight back, but she didn't have a solid footing to give her opponent a solid push, which allowed her fellow bluenette to quickly shift the hold and trap her in a headlock.

"Nnngh..." Knowing that nothing good would come from this, Yuki Onna decided that she needed to release herself before something more terrible occurred to her. So, right after she was placed in the headlock, Yuki would try to deliver a strike into the side of her torso with her fist, wanting to make her opponent loosen her hold which could allow her to wiggle her way out of the headlock.

Katori smirked both playfully and competitively when she managed to pull Yuki into a standing Headlock after distracting her with a grapple lock up. There was always that satisfying feel whenever a tactic in wrestling works, it just gives you a good sense of accomplishment. She made sure to keep her arm wrapped around Yuki-Onna's neck tight to prevent her from escaping, so when that punch to Katori's side came her grip didn't loosen much but she did winch in pain by clenching her teeth.

Unless Yuki will keep the punches coming, a single punch would not really be enough to make the angel release her. But it will motivate her to do more with this hold, as she'll move her arm up and down to wrench on her opponent's neck to further wear her down. Then, after doing that for a few seconds Katori will drag Yuki-Onna forward into a dash as she jumps up in the air with her still in her grip to slam her face first into the mat with a Bulldog!

Of course, a single punch wasn't enough to agitate Katori, and Yuki's head remained trapped in the headlock. She wanted to deal more punches on her opponent, but Katori's effort in tugging her head, wrenching on her neck up and down, seemed to be thwarting her effort, and she couldn't follow up her earlier punch with more punches. All she could do was to struggle helplessly in the headlock, and from there, she knew that things would get much nastier than before.

Her fear was realized when Katori dragged Yuki forward into a dash before jumping up in the air while still having her head in the headlock before slamming down Yuki's beautiful face into the mat with a running bulldog!

"Urgh!!"

The running bulldog managed to stun the azure-haired wrestler, and groaned, trying her best to wrench her head out of Katori's hold as she brought her hands to her face in order to soothe the pain.

With the tactic of wrenching Yuki-Onna's neck while keeping her trapped in the Headlock Katori prevented any more punches from hitting her, which also perfectly lead to a follow up with a running Bulldog to slam her opponent down into the mat. Katori let her go a few seconds after landing in her seated position before quickly standing back up. She looks down at Yuki and sees her stunned state, and the angel decides to take advantage of this opening!

It was always best to do something early on to help build up pressure to help control the match later. So, wanting to start off with something basic first, Katori will raise her leg up high then bring it down to stomp hard on Yuki-Onna to add some pain to that pretty back.

Almost immediately Katori will hop over Yuki and run over towards the ropes in front of her to then rebound off them. On her way back over, the young successor will leap up in the air again as she angles her leg in position to bring down on her opponent, attempting to follow up her stomp by landing a running Leg Drop on Yuki-Onna's back to further inflict pain on it!
