Katori Kimura vs Moe Fukuoka

Standard Match: Victory will be decided by pin-fall, submission, knockout, count-out, or disqualification

Moe had been off to a harsh start at AFW. Her encounters with the first two wrestlers she met at AFW, Peggy McIntyre and Julia Hiroshi. The young rookie looked to find a way to bounce back. And she hoped to do that during her match tonight. When told she was up next, Moe entered the arena to the sound of her theme song. She stood with her head held high and instill within herself for tonight a can-do attitude. To her surprise, the audience still received her relatively well. Despite her losing efforts thus far, her willingness to try her best, along with her cute looks seem to still earn her favor with them.




The young Japanese woman smiled and waved to them with a smile that conveyed relief that they hadn't turned against her. After slowly making her way to the ring and giving out a few high-fives along the way, Moe rolled under the bottom rope and into the ring. She took her place in the corner, where she used the ropes and the turnbuckle to stretch her legs. After her entrance music faded out, the audience and Moe began to eagerly anticipate the arrival of her opponent for tonight.

Sortly after Moe's entrance was finished and the arena went silent with anticipation for the next wrestler, the song Furanme of the Phoenix began to play with the crowd already roaring with cheers as Katori Kimura, the Mighty Successor makes her appearance on the stage. She waved to the audience with both hands before she walked down the ramp towards the ring, as she also gives high fives as well as fist bumps to many fans before she reached the ring.

Katori climbed up onto the apron then vaults over the top ropes to enter the ring, making her way towards her corner. She hasn't made eye contact with her opponent yet but she isn't doing this on purpose. The angel then climbs onto the turnbuckle to wave some more before jumping down, as she turns to look at Moe from her corner before smiling at her with a competitive and eager expression.

After her opponent took her time with her own entrance and showed off her own agility by leaping over the top rope, Moe would smile in anticipation of the match. The rookie would meet Katori's eager expression with one of her own and she walked towards her blue haired foe to extend courtesies and wish for a good match. Before the sound of the bell, she'd extend her hand to her opponent for tonight. "Hi! My name is Moe Fukouka! Let's have a great match, ok?" She said with a grin.

She'd await Katori's reply and shake the girl's hand firmly if she accepted the handshake. The bell would sound in a few moments and signal the start of a bout between two fan favorites!

Katori settled herself in her corner after finishing her appearance before she also moved to the ring's center to meet with her opponent. Her expression didn't drop as she looked at Moe in the eye, widening her smile after the brunette introduced herself and offered her hand to shake. Right away, Katori accepts the hand, giving it a nice firm squeeze. "I'm Katori Kimura, of Wrestle Angels. Pleasure to meet you, and yes, let's let loose and have some fun."

After finishing introductions and breaking the handshake, both girls went back to their corners as the gong rang to start the match. Katori gets into a stance as she strafes around to circle Moe, being on her full guard as she tries to get the girl to make the first move to see how she fights.

Moe was happy to make Katori's acquaintance and to see that she, too, was looking forward to a fun and hard fought match. After emerging from her corner to the sound of the bell, she'd assume a stance with her fists in front of her and proceed to circle the ring with her blue haired opponent. The green clad wrestler was newer to AFW than her opponent. But she didn't let that discourage her from trying her hand at the first post in the hopes of taking the Wrestle Angel by surprise!

Moe would attempt to close the distance, and if she got close enough, she'd aim a swift kick at Katori's midsection. If her kick connected and forced her foe to double over, Moe would follow it up with a Roundhouse kick aimed at Kimura's head in an attempt to take her down!

Katori was up against yet another energetic rookie and was more then happy to take her on as the match begins. She keeps her eyes on the girl with a focused expression, noticing her stance is a striker style, so they'll probably be up close and personal with their fists and feet often. And that prediction already came true as well.

Soon enough, Moe came right at Katori and threw a kick at her abdomen, getting the first blow! "Oof...!" Katori doubled over from the impact but kept her head up looking onward and sees Moe throwing another kick. This time, the angel will attempt to prevent it by raising her arms up to block the kick. If successful, Katori will also attempt to grab the leg then use one of her own legs to sweep Moe off her feet to bring her down while still holding onto the kicking leg.

Moe took initiative in the opening of the match, just like most expected the eager young rookie would. Fukouka approached quickly and struck the Wrestle Angel with a swift kick to the midsection. Trying not to miss a beat, she prepared to follow up with another kick. When it made contact she smiled and exclaimed: "Gotcha! O-Oh no!" Upon attempting her follow up, Moe would soon find that Katori had an answer. She had blocked the kick and caught her leg. Moe hopped in place while trying to retain her balance, but just as she found footing on one leg, Katori took her down with a leg sweep!

A thud could be heard as Moe's back hit the mat. She'd wince a bit and look up at her aggressor. She took a second to realize that even after exerting the effort to trip her, her opponent still kept a grasp on the leg she had caught earlier. Moe looked up at Katori before commenting "You're pretty good." If Katori took a few seconds to make her next move, the green clad rookie would attempt to retract her leg and pull her opponent down to the ground with her if Katori held onto her leg. If she was successful in grounding her foe, Moe would attempt to hit her with repeated forearm strikes to her head!

Katori had succeeded in bringing down her rookie opponent onto her back with a Leg Sweep after countering her kick. With the leg still in her grip, the angel looked down at Moe with a competitive smirk as the girl complemented her. "Thanks! I like pleasing talented and promising rookies." Katori says to her opponent as she pulls on Moe's leg to drag her around the ring before stopping in the center if they weren't already there.

From there, Katori will angle her opponent's leg to spread her legs wide open while she raises her arm up then drops down to land an Elbow Drop on Moe's thigh of her caught leg. If that blow stunned her enough, Katori will quickly stand up and make a mad dash towards the ropes, and after bouncing back off them, Katori will leap in the air and try to hit Moe with a Legdrop across her chest!

Moe had tried to counter but was unsuccessful in doing so. The Wrestle Angel would capitalize on taking the rookie down by pulling on her leg and dragging her a short distance towards the center of the ring. Fukouka would struggle to break free from Katori, but her flailing would see be interrupted by an Elbow Drop that targeted her thigh! Moe would wince in pain and grit her teeth before replying to her foe's comment. "Urgh! That...wasn't pleasing at all!"

Soon after receiving that strike, Katori got up and demonstrated her impressive speed by darting for the ropes and dashing towards her foe so quickly that Moe couldn't react. The green clad rookie remained floored as Kimura jumped into the air and hit her with a Running Legdrop across her chest! The force of the impact caused Moe's arms and legs to flop upwards off the canvas before falling back down. Moe remained on her back limp with her eyes closed, seemingly stunned by Katori's quick offense! The crowd roared as The Wrestle Angel continued to build momentum and put on a good showing in this match!

Katori had taken advantage of her good start by landing an Elbow Drop on Moe's thigh then followed up with a running Leg Drop across her chest. The crowd was already roaring with cheers for her after her spectacular display of skill and speed. She rose a hand up and waved at them from her seated position before pushing herself back up to her feet.

As she looked down at her opponent, the angel noticed she was sprawled out with her eyes shut, if it weren't for her breathing she'd think she was knocked out. "Done already? I don't think so." Katori says as she kneels down to grab Moe by the head and under her arm to force her to her feet, and if she manages to do so without trouble then she'll shove her opponent's head under her arm while placing her free hand on Moe's hip.

"Get ready!" Katori shouts as she attempts to lift up Moe high up over her head upside down, she'd hold it for 3 second before dropping back down onto her back to slam the girl with a Vertical Suplex!
