Katori Kimura vs Kyoko Akan

Vapor Rock began playing across the arena and Kyoko Akan came out to a decent reception, she had made quite an impression with the fan base thanks in part to her recent matches, and she was looking to keep up the momentum of her successes. Kyoko began strutting down to the ring to prepare for her match, she wasn't able to learn much about her opponent, but from what she did know this wasn't here first big promotion, perhaps she was dealing with someone who could provide her with a good match that would help increase her popularity, of course she intended to come out on top of this encounter no matter who she was.

Once everything quickly and easily calmed down after Kyoko's entrance, it wasn't long until Katori's theme "Furanme of the Phoenix" started up and she enters the arena to the uproar of the crowd's cheering for the angel. She stands on the stage with a hand on her hip and leans it to the side as she does the "victory" gesture with her free hand on hovers it over her eye.

"Yahoo!" Katori called out as the crowd cheers louder for the Mighty Successor who starts to jog down the ramp towards the ring, giving fans high fives as she goes. She climbs up the apron before vaulting over the top ropes then jogging over towards her corner and climbing up the turnbuckle to wave to the audience.

While doing this Katori takes quick glances at her opponent to check her out, she didn't hear much about her other then that she was cocky and filled with pride. If anything if it comes down to it there might be a chance that this woman's pride could become her downfall should she become obsessed with it. After waving a bit more the angel hops down from the turnbuckle and turns to face her opponent, while crossing her arms and smiling at her with a competitive grin before giving her a quick wink. "Yo."

Kyoko"s eyes narrowed a bit, she was very energetic it seemed, a bit to much for her taste, but then again she always enjoyed it when a match was about to begin, guess everyone handled it in there own way. Another point lost was she couldn't see her opponent's stomach, that part was more personal but nevertheless it was an interest of hers that she was disappointed wouldn't be a part of this match. After her initial observation she returned her opponents smile.

"Hello to you to. You seem skilled enough so I expect that you can provide a decent challenge. By all means give me your best." Kyoko spoke to her opponent while laying against her corner, flexing her abs to show off.

During the short intermission before the match starts Katori will take this chance to warm up to further prep herself. As she does a few squats and stretches to get her body ready for the fight. Her eyes remained on Kyoko while doing this to get a better look at her, and keeping up her routine as she spoke to the successor from across the ring. "Oh, I sure plan on giving more then my best tonight. I intend to give 120% worth of effort."

It was around this time that the ref-girl was ready to start the match, causing Katori to stop warming up then steps a bit from her corner. She didn't get too close to the center of the ring and got into a defensive stance as she awaited for the gong to ring and start the match.

Kyoto remained in her corner intently, watching her opponent who was apparently doing a last minute warm-up. Kyoko observed what she could to see where the girls strengths might lie, or better yet where she could see any weaknesses but Katori seemed well built all-around. If she had any weakness Kyoko was going to have to feel it out. "120 huh, I'd love to see that." Kyoko added as she bell rang.

It was time to get serious as she pushed off her corner and got into a defensive stance and circled in towards her opponent. Katori seemed to be taking a more cautious approach but Kyoko didn't let that slow her down and instead decided that gave her the initiative to stack first. Once got close enough she would move in for a feint at her opponents head before changing it up to instead go for a chop aimed at Katori's gut.

The gong rings and the match begins, and Katori is eager to get going as it did. But she remained in her defensive position as Kyoto came out of the corner and got into her own defensive stance as well while circling the angel. Katori follows suit with it and also circles the woman, with the both of them being very cautious and waiting or who will make the first move.

Normally the Mighty Successor wanted to make the first move, and connect it, but this time she was curious as to what kind of style this woman uses and so waits. Once Kyoto got closer Katori prepared for what was coming and so reacted to the feint which left her open to the gut chop. "Ugh!"

Katori stumbled back a bit following the hit both from the impact and to build a bit of momentum, as she while moving back she twirls around and lifts her leg up then swings it at Kyoto. Aiming to hit her opponent with a quick Roundhouse Kick to the side of her abdomen.

Kyoko got the first blood of the match, nailing a shot on Katori's belly and sending her back a bit. Kyoko, follows through and tries to take the fight to her and keep her down but Katori comes back and throws a roundhouse kick in the gut.

"Uuggh." Kyoko groans and stops her charge, taking a moment to get her breath back after the blow and grunted. Refusing to let Katoring get and advantage Kyoko jumped in the air and tried to land a drop kick to pay her back.

Katori smirks after seeing her kick land it's mark, and since she built up some momentum before doing it it should sting a little bit. Being smart about her actions, she doesn't press the attack as both she and Kyoko are fresh and so her opponent would make a counter attempt like she did. The angel waited with her guard up for what was next.

When Kyoko leaped up it immediately told Katori it was a standing Dropkick, a bit too easy at the start. So she'll step to the side to avoid the kick and then grabs her opponent while still in the air to throws her down and slam her back onto the ground. And if Katori was quick enough she'll raise her arm up to bring down an Elbow Drop on Kyoko above her chest while she was still stunned.

Her attempts to take control of the fight didn't end like she had hoped as Katori still had the distance and the time to dodge and grab her body, where she could readjust her fall to slam her into the ground.

Kyoko grunted as she fell on her back and arched her back in pain, she tried to get back up when Katori elbow dropped her chest, forcing another groan from her body as she brough her hands to her aching chest.

After landing the Elbow Drop Katori pushes herself back up, she succeeded in stunning Kyoko more which will leave her laying on the mat for a bit longer. The angel will press this advantage if she can by grabbing the woman by her shoulders to force her back onto her feet.

If successful in doing this without a problem, Katori will press herself into her opponent's back and wrap her arms around her waist tightly. Then with a quick heave she will attempt to lift up Kyoko up and over her head to bridge herself an throw the woman back with a German Suplex throw.
