Satomi, Shizuka, and Yui: The mind of a mad genius

When Shizuka made her suggestion, Satomi couldn't have been more pleased. Choosing the one that was still experimental would allow Satomi to study the results more in an effort to perfect this method, basically making Shizuka become a human guinie pig for Satomi. But of course, the young scientist wouldn't admit this right to the young schoolgirl's face.. even if it was true.

"Very well then. If that's your decision, we should get started right away." She said with an utmost pleased attitude, her tone practically having a sing-song sort of ring to it, like she couldn't be happier. After all, not only had she made new friends, but one of them was even voulenteering to become her human test subject~! As insane and irrational as this sounded to anyone else, it was a perfectly sound and normal procedure for a mad genius.

"Ok then, first, I want you to sit back, I'll be right back." Sounding very calm now, her excitement cast aside to remain proffesional with her work, Satomi went off to another part of the lab, dissapearing for a few minutes. Off in the distance, they couldn't even hear her, leaving questions open to what she was doing. But when she came back, holding a closed, clear canteen of liquid, she handed it to Shizuka and spoke a bit demandingly. "Drink that down, all of it." The liquid had a strange, bright blue tint to it, almost cyan as it had a very sterile, almost metalic scent from it. But what was stranger, and perhaps most disgusting was it's taste. A horrible cook couldn't even make something this bad if they [i]tried[/u], and the liquid was thick, kind of like drinking the worlds worst milkshake a person could ever taste.

Shizuka nodded. She believed in Satomi, and actually thought that nothing bad could happen during the experiment with someone like Satomi to take care of her. Besides, Yui was there if things get a bit complicated. Yeah, she is not as dumb as Shizuka, and she actually knows a bit of science. Nothing specific, just 'science'....

The purple haired schoolgirl sat and leaned back on the bed, looking up at the neon lights of the roof that were illuminating the place. As Satomi came back with the strange juice, she started to feel a bit insecure. I mean, what was she making her drink?! Anyway, Shizuka accepted without any protest, and drank it all down. It was the most disgusting thing she ever tasted in her life, really. But, just a matter of manners, she didnt spit it out. " Nghhh..." She gave the empty glass back to the scientist and leaned back again, ready to start.

"Hmm..." There was a long pause from the scientist as she took the glass back, looking at Shizuka up and down very observantly, like she was gazing at some sort of experiment, identifying any problems if they occured. Then finally, she expressed just why she was doing this, saying it very casually, despite how grim the meaning was to her words, not even bothering to explain exactly what she meant.

"Good, you're not decaying from the inside out, so the concentrated nanomachine-fluid seems to be working just fine."

There was something disturbingly calm and peaceful about her words when she said this, once again proving how much of a mad scientist she could be, especially at what she suggested next. Taking a needle from the tray, the needle filled with a silver toned liquid. "Now then, I just need to insert them directly into your bloodstream, and they'll get to the route of your problem in no time. Your arm please~?"

Yui focused on Satomi's words. ' Nanomachine-fluid? Wow, this girl isnt joking at all. ' She thought for a second as she looked at Shizuka, who didnt seem to be suffering any secondary effects from that liquid. She wondered what was next, but the scientist's needle could tell everything.

'Another needle...?! Awwww,man! Why didnt I choose any of the other methods?! ' Shizuka thought as she gulped heavily, like she just eat a big piece of a steak. But with that big gulp, she also swallowed the fear, and lifted her trembling left arm, slowly. She gave Satomi another look. She did look absolutely confident, and maybe a little sinister. She only hopes it's nothing to be afraid about.

Without wasting a second, Satomi jabbed the needle into Shizuka's arm, a little forceful even as she did, like she was trying a little to hard to break the skin. But the reason for that become obvious when the pain from the needle seemed worse than any other. Though it was hard to notice, the needle was actually just a little thicker than average, and felt more like a stab than a pinprick.

"Hold still for just a moment... I forget to mention that-" Satomi slowly started to inject the silver fluid, never mentioning that these were infact the nanomachines themself before it went into Shizuka swiftly. "-that this is going to be really painful." Just as she said that, she took the now empty needle out, and seconds later, the torrent of pain would begin. In Shizuka's blood, it would feel like fire pulsed through her viens, her muscles limp and sore, her bones aching, her whole body would wrack with a terrible agony like she was becoming electrocuted or burned alive from the inside out. No words could describe how horrible it was, and most normal people might even pass out from the torture that pulsed through their viens, and even worse, it would last for more than a few seconds; in fact the insanely painful experiance went on for minutes...

Shizuka's eyes went wide as the pain was growing bigger and bigger, to the point it was simply unbearable. It was unlike anything she could have expected from that. Anyway, for no more than 3 seconds, she kept herself from crying out how painful it was. Yui, watching her little friend suffering so much, grabbed SHizuka's right hand, only to get it squeezed brutally by the younger girl's.

She shutted her eyes down tightly and let out the loudest scream she ever did. She felt like she was being killed by something. But unlike any other 'normal' person, she didn't pass out. Her fighting spirit and mind didnt allow her. She had to resist longer. But that didnt mean that she would stop screaming. " Nyaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!! "

In most cases, Satomi felt no pity during her experiments. She functioned like a machine with no remorse, efficient but heartless in the lab as she worked. But when she heard the scream echo through the lab as Shizuka tolerated the pain, Satomi bit the edge of her lip, a little nervous, and even apologizing under her breath, feeling remorse for what she put her new friend through.

It was all going to be worth it though. In mearly a week, Shizuka would be better once again, and the pain now would omit all the suffering she would have gone through later had she not chosen this. Satomi could do nothing more than watch as her friend suffered, a blank, even cold expression soon returning to her face as she watched, olive-eyes going emotionless from behind the glasses as she told herself this was all for a benefit of science; nothing more.

This is why Shizuka didnt have much problems against submission holds. After suffering for a few seconds, she was able to handle the pain and stop screaming, crying and kicking. And so that happened in this case too. Not completely, but at least she wasnt screaming now. Yui and Satomi would even be able to notice a little smirk across Shizuka's face.

" Heh....This..is...nothing..." Shizuka was barely able to mutter out, finally controlling the pain. The once longer-than-a-millenium seconds became minutes really quick now. Though her body was suffering a terrible pain, her mind and spirit were completely blocking it. Satomi may be a bit surprised by this...

As the minutes passed by, the pain would soon fade as the nanomachines settled, finally making their way to Shizuka's back, the presance of them now completey unknown had it not been for the pain before. Satomi hadn't stopped watching the whole incident unfurl, at once point even grabbing a nearby laptop to take notes on what she had witnessed. After all, she did mention this was experimental still, so she wanted to study and watch, keeping track of Shizuka's torment like it was all just an experimant, which, in Satomi's mind; that was exactly what it was.

Once it had finished though, Satomi fell silent at first, adjusting her glasses before she took a damp, cold towel she had aside, giving it to Shizuka so she could gather herself, and even a small glass of water if she needed it. "You're... still conscious." She said with geniune surprise, knowing even she couldn't have possessed such an impeccible stamina for such a thing. "How do you feel now? ...You can rest if you need to." She offered with a calm, still composed expression as she went to place her hand on Shizuka's lap, and even glancing at Yui for the moment. Even though she was so calculating and cold about it moments ago, she was already feeling a little bad for her friends; it was the same way she had been in the ring earlier with her.

Shizuka nodded slowly, her body aching and barely responding to what her brain ordered her to do. " I'm...okay..." She stated with a weak and shaky tune of voice as Yui grabbed the glass of water when Satomi offered it to Shizuka. The pink haired schoolgirl knew that her little friend wouldnt be able to hold it up, and would surely end up breaking it into pieces.

Yui inclined the glass, letting the water fall right into Shizuka's open mouth. After 2 or 3 gulps, the smaller schoolgirl shook her head, signaling Yui that she didnt want anymore water, and just laid on the bed, exhausted. " I've been better..."
