Satomi, Shizuka, and Yui: The mind of a mad genius

Satomi didn't but it, she was pretty good at reading people's intentions, and in this case, Shizuka was crying on the inside, probably just putting on a braver face to 'play it cool' as some would call it. Rolling her eyes at this, they had begun going down, the ladder being rusted along it's holds, the walls made of cold cement, giving the place a very dull and barren look to it as they procceeded downwards. Nearly at the bottom though, having accidently caught a gaze up Shizuka's skirt, Satomi blushed faintly and looked strait down, just shaking her head as she remembered the color and tried not to think about it. "Um.. n-nothing. Just daydreaming.." She said nervously, stepping down to the bottom where they were met with a large, blast door made of heavy iron and steel. The place was looking more and more like a bomb shelter, but that would change once Satomi got them inside.

"Now, remember my rules, and please obey any and all precautions I give you, okay?" Giving them one last warning, Satomi stepped to the massive door that seemed bolted shut, seeming to be redy to do something as she adusted her glasses a little, approaching the door. Then, she placed her hand upon it at a strange spot. Far to the left, she pressed her hand hard against the door, and then...

*Click*

The massive steel door had a small indentation in it where Satomi presssed, and then suddenly had a small opening appear from it, no bigger than a half-dollar. The opening was rounded, and a small segment of the door had broken away in a vortex of six fangs, peeling open like a star. There at the opening, a glass-structure could be seen, quickly emerging as a bump on the door that stuck out about half an inch, the glass 'eye' of the lens colored red.

"vOiCe, FiNgErPrInT, oR bLoOd As ReCoGnItIoN rEqUeStEd."

An automated voice spoke, sounding like it was coming from the lens itself. Then, sure enough, another opening appeared on the door, no more than half a foot beneath the eye lens, as a square cutout of the door fell forth, the size of the opening this time about the size of an open hand. revealed this time was a small pad with three different devices upon it. One was tiny recorder that could be spoken into, another seemed to be curved and shapen for a finger to be placed on, a scanner beneath it, and the last was a small vail and needle placed beside it, probably for the blood sample. "It's just me Ianti, though I need you take take a recording of my two guests so they are allowed in. They have security level 2 access."

And with that said, the lens actually seemed to turn, just like the pupil of an eye now staring at them, awaiting something. Satomi turned to them as well, telling them what to do. "I just need a voice recording, anything will do, but you need to at least say your full name. Go ahead, don't be shy~" She spoke like all of this was completely normal, not even considering for a moment how amazing or intimidating this might be to another person.

" O--Okay...." Shizuka gulped a a bit of saliva as she kept going down, Yui starting to kick her softly to continue. They were amazed just by this point,and they havent seen anything yet... Though it wasnt a huge space, they didnt feel pretty uncomfortable, as they seemed to be pretty flexible. Or at least Yui. ' What the hell did I get myself in...?' Shizuka thought and even muttered to herself secretly.

As they saw the door, they thought it was it, their limit. But big was their surprise as they watched Satomi open it easily. ' A-amazing...' Yui thought as her jaw dropped like in many animes. Shizuka wasnt all that surprised, remembering some horror movies where things like that happened pretty often.

" Shizuka Suyuki. The absolutely and most a----" Shizuka was suddenly interrupted in middle of her statement by Yui. " Agh, just shut up! You're not the best! " Yui yelled as she put her hand on the little schoolgirl's mouth, stopping her from going further. " I'm Yui Kanno. " The pink haired girl said with a pretty cheerful tune of voice without taking her hand off her friend's mouh.

No more than a few seconds into the two speaking their names, Satomi had placed the blood samples into the base of the small veil, one at a time as they were sucked away into god only knows where. The machine's lower console where the three pieces of recognition devices were gave a dull grinding noise, and then the sounds of something printing or being registered, and then finally, a multitude of tiny clicks, like a computer loading a file and the RAM being put to use. A few seconds later, the red lens faded in color before gradually shifting green, followed by two, light beeping sounds going off.

“vOiCe ReCoGnItIoN, nAmEs AnD bLoOd SaMpLeCoNfIrMeD, wElCoMe, ShIzUkA sUyUkI, yUi KaNnO, aNd MaStEr."

With the machine's approval, both hatches closed up, and the door had opened. Or rather, it rose upwards, sliding strait up noiselessly like those kind of doors you saw in a science fiction movie.

When it had risen, they would be greeted by a very peculiar site for a lab, one that was both incredible, and yet unsettling at the same time as it expanded beyond the size of a football field. At first glance, one would compare it to a nerd's wet dream of a chop-shop for all sorts of parts and machines, but in due time, the deeper a person went in and looked, the more disturbing it became. Scattered about were mechanized joints and limbs, most resembling something close to humanoid, a few having synthetic flesh, and others being the bare 'bones' of heavy but flexible metals and wirings. Further along, there was a scatter of computer parts, from hardware to softwareâ€s, inside and out, over 20 computers of different kinds torn asunder, a small handful of them looking like military models that were illegal for the public to own. Then there came a mass of tools along the many workbenches. Meters, monitors and electrochemical Equipment, microscopes, optics, image analysis machines, lasers, cameras, wire boards, you name it. Close by these were the masses of beakers, bottles, veils, and even a few human sized test tubes filled with water that had a faint, blue glow to it. Of the three, two were empty, but one had something inside of it... it must have been machine, because from the waisteless body, several wires escaped the synthetic flesh, but so did several tubings, and even a breathing mask over a shaven woman's face. She didn't possess arms either, instead having two mechanical stubs that more wiring escaped, like they were meant to be joints to attach arms to. The nude, half of a woman in the tube couldn't have been alive, and yet, if it wasn't, then what was she doing in the test tube?

Further along in the lab they would begin to come across her main research, but not before passing by a steel cage, half the size of a wrestling ring, but set up in a smaller size to mimic that of a ring, but filled with multiple wirings, and even a suit that was hooked up to a monitor that was to be worn around your arms, legs, and head. One could only guess it read off the attacks a person performed while wearing it, and would give results relating to it. But beyond that, close to her testing equipment stood a line of jars and beakers, most possessing things that would make a person cringe or lose their lunch. Encased organs, entombed, small creatures, some of which looking like they weren't even supposed to exist on this world, a few parts that looked suspiciously like small parts to a human body, and one even having a dead, dried fetus, everything perfectly preserved in these jars lined nearly along the shelves and labeled with their scientific and medical terms. Massive consoles littered the side wall, several screens, one being over 50 inches long, all shut down or on standby since she had been asleep. But beside them were mountains upon mountains of texts, books, graphs, charts, and more information than a person could ever imagine finding the time to read if they had 500 years of a lifespan.

Overall… this place was truly amazing, but twisted in the way only a mad scientist could ever imagine.

The schoolgirls past through the door. As soon as they took a preliminar look around, they didnt think it could be really that bad as they expected. The girls smirked wide as they went after the scientist. But, the more they walked, the more they got amazed. Shizuka, for a moment, focused her sight on the half woman body. ' Woowwww! ( Yeap, a fan of science fiction movies ) Just like in the movies! I just hope she doesnt wake up to kill us all! ' Shizuka thought, pretty excited.

Yui, meanwhile, was paying attention at other, more scary things, like the fetus. She stopped a moment in front of it to take a closer look of it. It didnt seem to have anything special, but it wasnt beautiful either. It was obviously not a place where to enjoy the landscape.

" This is your lab, Satomi? It looks a....I dont know! Just like a scene for a horror movie! " Shizuka didnt hold her tongue back. She had to say that. And with that said, Yui smacked her fist on top of the smaller girl's head. " Cant you be a little less...direct? "

The first thing Satomi had done when entering the lab was to remove her lab coat, then changing it with a newer one, all of them on a small shelf looking exactly the same, pressed and cleaned. She handed one to Yui, figuring it should fit her decently since they seemed to be of similiar size, but oddly enough, she never gave one to Shizuka. Inside the lab, Satomi took on a more focused attitude, adjusting her glasses briefly beore escorting them through, putting them up close and personal with some of the more disturbing samples and experiments. At one point, they passed a workbench that had several android parts, synthetic flesh recently applied to them, and one of the arms was having a spasm, a short circuit within it as it nearly latched onto Yui, only to have Satomi cut it's power and pull the plug.

She was quiet at first, clearly in control to the enviroment and domain, but she stopped, even giving a nervous grin when Shizuka made her comment, breaking away the seriousness of it all. "Um... eheh... it's actually more comfortable than you think here. But perhaps that's just me." She said with a shy laugh and rubbing the back of her head a little before leading them further inside. She seemed to have a plan in mind, but what was going on in the young scienist's head was anybodies guess. "Shizuka? Before going any further, I must ask, is there any other... additions or modifications you've been wanting to do to your body?" She asked so suddenly, a subtle hint of foul intent in her tone.

" Thank you, Satomi. " Yui said with a nice and grateful tune of voice as she put the lab coat on. Shizuka didnt even ask why didnt she get one, assuming it was because of her short size. She didnt care. For her, Yui looked ridiculous in that coat. But to be honest, she was a bit jealous. ' Why didnt I get one?! ' Shizuka thought, not making any noise to not let anybody hear her whinning.

' Yeah, it's just you....' Both girls thought at exactly the same time, just after Satomi said it was a comfortable place. They didnt even imagine about living in a place like this, not even going daily. Shizuka then heard the scientist's unusual question. She looked down at her 'not so big' breasts, thinking that she might be talking about enlarging them. But, to everyone's surprise ( Well, not Yui's. ), she shook her head side to side, feeling perfectly comfortable with her breast's actualy size. " I think not...They are just the perfect size. "

"Perfect size? Hmm? What is?" Her head tilted a little to the side, and she briefly slowed her pace to look at Shizuka and Yui, clearly curious on what they meant. By now, they had been reaching an area of the lab that was filled with numerous pieces of medical equipment, most questionable on how on earth the girl managed to attain. It was like a part of her lab was a miniature hospital, but only had one operating table, one bed, and more machines than a person could count. Some of which didn't even look like medical equipment, as they were scattered with devices that looked like they could horribly maim or kill someone in a few seconds flat. But once again, to Satomi, this was all just normal. It seemed that Yui and Shizuka's new friend had some very... questionable standards.

' Oh, and just like in the movies too! The hospital of horror! ' More than scared, Shizuka looked really excited, like a little child in a filming studio. Yui, meanwhile, seemed more calm than before, not feeling afraid of hospital, as she was pretty used to visit her sick parents. Though the hospital she visited wasnt anything like this....Well, maybe the beds looked a bit like...But nothing more.

" Okay Satomi. What do I have to do now? " Shizuka asked impatiently to the scientist, not able to wait a second more to be lying on the operation bed and imagine a monster coming at her. Yui kept herself from smacking her fist on top of her friend's head again just because this time, she was asking about her own health...Or at least that's what Yui thought....

Satomi had wasted little time in responding, clearly being professional and listening well, making sure this is done correctly. "Well, you need to make a choice." She said flatly, crossing her arms as she stood in front of the hospital styled bed, turning to look right at Shizuka even though her hands were fiddling with an IV and getting it ready. It seemed that unfortunately for Shizuka, she may need another needle in her...

"I've calculated several efficient options, but you must choose which, as they all have a risk." Crystal clear with her instructions, she begun to list off what could be done, keeping this whole thing on a very strictly business like level, making herself sound like not only was this a serious business, but something she wanted to be certain about, as she knew there was no turning back from this.

"You're first is a cranial nervous chip implacement. It can send signals through your body to your brain to cancel out any pain signals the nerves in your back would send, allowing you to feel minimal pain there. However, this involves the risk of only delaying the problem, not fixing it. Another is that I replace your vertebrae with a mechanical spine I would normally use for synthetics or androids. In this case though, you would still need to wait a awhile for the stitches to heal, but you're back would be stronger. On the other hand, it may cause some trouble in places where metal is affected, and would take a long time to get used to." Satomi spoke about it all so... casually, even if the second one was entirely radical and too insane to believe as she basically suggested removing the girl's back entirely. None the less, she continued. "Another option is a medication. It would entirely numb your spinal column, dulling the nerves, but you would still need to rest at times, and there is a risk of addiction. It would be helpful though as it increases the density of bone marrow overtime, stimulating a quicker healing process. Then there is also an arcano-therapy, it would hasten your healing by 300% percent, but you would still need bed rest as usual, only I would imagine you only need another week and a half before total repair. However... as great as this sounds, it's still experimental, and anything can go wrong." Satomi still had a large list of things to say, but she paused, waiting to see if she picked any thus far.

Shizuka never had to think so hard about something. Not even at school...Well, that's because she is pretty lazy, and doesnt like school,but this....is important. ' Let's see....' She put a finger on her chin and started to tap it, like she needed to do that to think better. Yui just wanted Shizuka not to make the wrong choice and to regret it later.

' The first option....No....It would be a little unfair for the other wrestlers that focus extremely on breaking backs. Second option....No....It wouldnt just be unfair, but it wouldnt allow me to travel by plane either! Those stupid security guards...Well,anyway.....Third option....An addiction?! No! I'm no drug addict! Pass! ....Oh...that last option seems fine...I mean, I can trust Satomi. I know she wouldnt do anything bad on purpouse.' .That's exactly what was going on Shizuka's head. For her, the choice wasnt so hard to take now, and without losing a second more, she announced. " I pick the arcano therapy! " Yui simply nodded, as it was what she would have chosen too.
