Satomi vs. Shizuka. One broken, one breaking in. (complete)

Everyone was nervous on their first day, and for Satomi Hakase, it was no different. It was why she had never left the gym yet, and was hidden off in the farthest corner of the gym right now, seated on a bench, preoccupied with one of her gadgets. Sitting there with her eyes distracted on the screen of a custom-made communications devices that looked like it practically shunned the Iphone for all it's glorie, the teenage girl had been sealing herself off from anyone else, currently in a now empty gym, tinkering with her device with a tiny, flathead screwdriver, the few wires unconnected and sticking out of the small device indicating it was somethig she was still working on. But what else could she say? She was nervous, afraid even, and working on her inventions had always been a way to calm herself.

Even though today she wasn't to have a match yet since it was her first day, Satomi stilled arrived in what she considered her wrestling uniform, even though others would see it differently. Seated on the bench, the girl looked to be a bit on the shorter side, probably just beyond five foot-two at the most, and was quite thin too. Also, since her skin was a little pale, and with those glasses she had and hair style which showed off her large forhead, people would easly classify her as a bit on the 'nerdy side', but definettly in a more modest and cute way. Not to mention the fact that she was wearing a long, white, lab coat over her maroon colored school-like uniform and knee high, black socks was just icing on the cake.

Currently, the girl was lone in the gym, her legs crossed indian style to block anyone from looking up her skirt, her lab coat falling just a little from her shoulders, and her glasses just on the brim of her nose, making it look like she had been there for quite awhile. Which in truth, she had, still working on her device as she had hopes of finishing the next step to this project before the day ended. Since the young scientist had already taken a tour, and had some time to kill, she decided to wait here in the gym to work; it just seemed like a perfect place at this hour since most other people were in a match right now. And of all things, the last she wanted to do was witness a match when she was this nervous, it never made her feel any better. It was one thing to be in a match she always thought, but watching it just didn't sit well with her. And so, here Satomi was, working on her invention without a care in the wrld, completely oblivious to her surroundings if anyone entered.

The silence was broken as Shizuka,the purple haired schoolgirl opened the door,followed by her pink haired friend,Yui. The smaller girl was wearing her typical school uniform.,and so Yui was. But,unlike her friend,Shizuka was using bandages that covered her midsection. The doctors told her not to do much exercise,but well,she just doesnt listen. She walked around the empty place for a while,Yui always following her to make sure that she doesnt get hurt.

There was not a single soul in the place. After many tours around the place,Shizka noticed a girl that looked like a scientist,wearing that long white coat. She didnt lose her time and rushed towards her,hoping that she was up for a little sparring. She wanted to see if she was able to fight again,or if she would need more rest.

"Excuse me,miss...Are you a wrestler?" The young girl asked nicely,not wanting to scare her posible next opponent.

'The callibrations just don't seem right to me. Perhaps if I increase the frequency or change the route of the signals through a smaller fiber optic. 1.5 should suffice if I try-' Lost in her own world of science and solutions, the young scientist had been putting together in her mind a new method she could attempt in putting her device together. However, despite the softer tone of the girl's words, not even noticing her rush up to her, Satomi still ended up started by the sudden realization that she wasn't alone.

"Waah!!" Throwing her hands up in the air and nearly falling back over the bench, she quickly leapt out from sitting indian style, and lost grip of the tiny screwdriver, no bigger than the ones you use to repair glasses as it gave a light clank against the wall and rolled under one of the lockers, lost from view. Almost panicked, her pupils dialiting for a moment since she was so focused, Satomi immediattly pocketed her device like it was not meant to be seen even though Shizuka woud have had plenty of time to observe it already, and she adjusted her glasses, taking a few short breaths as she calmed down. Who were these two girls? Did they come from a school like she had? Well, Satomi already finished, but she still couldn't help but wonder. However she had a question to answer first, and even though she knew what to say, she had trouble at first, still a little stricken from the sudden encounter she was forced into.

At first, Satomi looked at the pink haired girl, an expression on her face saying 'help me', like she really didn't want to be talking to another person right now. But, with a slow sweatdrop from the side of her head and a nervous grin, Satomi bit her lip before answering. "Well... um, yes. Or rather, I just started today ...sort of. It's a little complicated." Rubbing the back of her head sheepishly with that grin, it was clear Satomi didn't really know how to react to this situation, and was still not even completely aware of what was happening all of the sudden.

Shizuka took a step back,a little surprised by the scientist's sudden reaction. It seemed like she had never seen any other person before. Taking back a normal stance,Shizuka looked down at the other girl. Yui didnt seem to be enjoying too much just standing there by Shizuka. She didnt even brough her pet to play with. Shizuka,pretty happy after hearing that the other girl was a wrestler,just smirked at her.

" Okay then... I was wondering if you could help me...You see,I've been at the hospital for a loooong while after someone crushed my back...."

Shizuka scratched her cheek,her cheeks turning pink as she thought of asking someone for a favor. It was something completely new for her.

" And well... *gulp* ermmm....I thought you could fight me....to see if I can come back to the wrestling world...or if I should take a longer rest..."

Though Satomi was never the type to enjoy an idle conversation like this, especially when she had her work, she really couldn't control that. After all, the gym was an area anyone could just walk in and out, it was her own fault really. And so, folding her hands on her lap over her skirt, smoothing it out a little, Satomi listened, her expression contorted in a little confusion as she raised a brow, not sure how to answer this.

"Well... if you'd like, I'm pretty adept in medical science and anatomy, I could just take a look." She said with the utmost confidence, clearly back to herself in a heartbeat the moment she spoke about science. Though she sounded a little young, Satomi had this intellectual aura and hint to her words and tone, making her seem like a an older scientist with decades of experiance, trapped inside the body of a teenage girl who was still growing.

"I mean... I suppose I could, but what about your friend there? And.. there are risks too, I could impose a risk of hurting you further and escalating the healing proccesses time frame. Not to mention there would be a high risk factor in-" Realizing the way she was speaking, and knowing this wasn't her lab, she stopped herself, once again sweatdropping with a nervous smile. "Ah.. I'm sorry, I'm ranting, arn't I?"

Shizuka got really confused as Satomi started to talk with a scientist vocabulary. She never was good at science,or any other subject at the school. That's why she escaped. But that's not the point. Yui,who was a pretty smart student,understood almost every word that came out from Satomi's mouth.

" Me..? I'm just here to help this little lady in case she gets too hurt." Yui explained to Satomi as Shizuka started to scratch the back of her head,a little ashamed that she didnt understand a word.

" Well,not really... " Shizuka answered to the scientist question,just trying to be nice and not to look like a stupid girl who only cares about fighting,fighting and fighting.

They were so painfully casual about this situation. The girl had injured her back... did injuries that severe happen here often?? Just what had Satomi gotten herself into?? She knew she had to pay back so many debts, but she didn't want to risk something so severe.

Letting out a long sigh, Satomi slowly got up to her feet, one hand tucked away in her coat pocket, the same pocket that had her device, and the other raising up to place a hand on her shoulder, still looking back between the two until finally her focus was on Shizuka. "I don't want to hurt you. The last thing I need is to know I broke someone's back on my first day here. But, if you're really serious about this, I suppose I can do something, but I'll have to go easy on you." Satomi's olive colored eyes dimmed just a little, a rather serious gaze on her face all of the sudden as she looked at Shizuka dead on, wanting the risk to really sink into the girl's head before they did anything.

Shizuka let out a sigh. She was really excited! Her first match in three months! She didnt waste her time and took off her sweatshirt,exposing the injury a bit more than what she should. She didnt care much about it now. She turned back and gave the sweatshirt to Yui,who blushed as she watched Shizuka only wearing her sports bra and her scholar skirt. The purple haired climbed into the ring and called for Satomi to join her so the fight could begin.

Such spunk and energy, this girl was really serious, wasn't she? Satomi could only sigh a she realized her words fell upon deaf ears, and then even blushed just sightly around the tips of her once serious face as she watched the girl suddenly strip down like that. It wasn't her body though that made Satomi mesmerized for a moment by her, but at that moment when Satomi was looking at her seriously, there was one thing that really stuck out that Satomi couldn't help but want to compliment. 'She has really beautiful eyes.' Satomi thought, finding the ocean blue orbs to be both mesmerizing, and have that hint of innocence in them she was compelled by.

When the girl went to the ring, Satomi looked at Yui for a moment, beginning to remove a few items from her lab coat, not wanting it to interfere. "She's... really impatient, isn't she? Have you tried convincing her not to do this?" Satomi asked in a hushed tone so Shizuka couldn't here. As she asked this, Satomi had removed a few gadgets from her jacket, each one so advanced that it would make a person's jaw drop in wondering where they came from and how she made it. One looked like a single eyepiece visor with computer componants (similiar to a DBZ scouter), she had a miniscule earpiece and listening bug, a strange looking metal speere the size of a half dollor with a single button that was just dying to be pressed, a strange controller with nearly 50 buttons on it, and that was just the start. After removing about 10 gadgets, Satomi double checked her pockets, ready to walk to the ring, but waited to hear Yui's side of this first. "I promise I'll try not to make her injuries worse."

Yui nodded letting out a sigh. Shizuka was really impatient,everyone could tell. "Like......a million of times. And she's still here. She really wanted to fight. And I cant blame her. It has been.....3 or 4 months since she got her back broken. And look at her now. Even if she shouldnt,she will fight seriously." Yui explained to the scientist.

Shizuka's eyes widened as she saw Satomi take all these gadgets out of her coat. What could Satomi use all these things for? And she didnt waste her airtime. She rushed to the ropes and leaned forward on them,asking to the scientist while lookign at her with big,curious eyes.

" Woow! What are these things for? Some kind of experiment? "
