Summer Splash 2024: Nekketsu Title Triple Threat Match: Dirk Lewser vs Ryan Knight vs Iris Takahashi (c)

Ryan forgot Iris here, now his attention was drawn to his other opponent and it was only a matter of time before Ryan and Dirk crossed each other and truth be told the crowd was quite excited at this prospect if their rising cheers was anything to go by. Ryan was grinning to himself as Dirk made to smack at him, try as Ryan might even he couldn't deny that he was going to enjoy giving lip back once he took this blow. And......

Okay, damn. Dirk didn't hit like a girl and Ryan felt himself wobbling and even spinning once there. Ryan's one eye blinked quickly as he would do his best to make sure he didn't fall down, then he shook his head and grinned slightly with a wince added on. Ryan gave a sharp breath and said "You do well hahahahah! You do well! Now then.......my turn!" and Ryan walked towards Dirk and then put his finger to his mouth to the crowd...........

"Ssshhhhhhhhh....." Ryan said to the crowd as they went quiet......With Ryan then slapping Dirk right on the chest as hard as he possibly could, employing a technique from his Mother Florence's book and making Dirk feel the sheer velocity of his hand upon his chest!

The rookie was a little happy to know that his forearm was able to hurt the former nekketsu champion. And that he didn't just brush it off. But, he couldn't let his guard down just yet. It was time for Ryan to return fire.

Dirk tensed his body as best as he could. He knew what was coming next was definitely gonna hurt. But, he needed to do this. To show the fans, the other wrestlers, to show the world that he wasn't a pushover! He was a rookie, true. But, he had fighting spirit and was gonna take a lot to take him out!

*PAP!* The brutal sound of the Paragon's hand colliding with Dirk's chest echoed throughout the venue. The members of the audience responded in worried "OOOH!"'s and "OH!"'s.

"Ah-ah.....!" A breathless gasp left Dirk's mouth as his hands quickly left from behind his back to cradle his now burning chest and he slowly lowered to a crouch with his left knee touching the mat. Almost as if he was bowing to his opponent.

After a couple breathes to get back some of the air that escaped his lungs, he got back up on to his feet and faced his opponent once more. His focus was entirely on Ryan. He had completely forgotten the existence of the champion.

He quickly nodded his head several times in an attempt to hype himself up and ignore his pain. It wasn't very successful... But, the chop definitely woke his competitive spirit up!

"Ok. Ok. Ok! That's more like it. Alright...!"

Dirk would clench his fists and adjusted himself into a kicking boxing-like fighting stance with his hands raised near his head. But, he wasn't about to fight mma-style. He would only do this for second before leaning back and firing a forearm shot to Ryan's chest!

Dirk was not expecting Iris to suddenly return to action in the way that she did! Dirk was about to deliver another shot to Ryan Knight. Till out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Iris flying at them! The rookie was too late in noticing as Ryan was struck across his jaw by Iris's surprise attack! Which set a chain reaction of Ryan being knocked forward and knocking Dirk back!

"Whu-ah!"

In the chaos, Dirk lost his footing and fell unto his backside. While he scrambled to get back unto his feet, Iris had already ran to the ropes, bounced off them and would charge to Dirk with an arm extended. Ready to give him a clothesline!

"Guohf!"

Dirk was shoved into the nearest corner and slumped down. Almost dropping unto his knees. The rookie always had a bad tendency to get ahead of himself. And the exchange with the stronger opponent definitely took its toll on him. He was practically a sitting duck for whatever the reigning champ had in mind. But, if she hesitated too long, Dirk may retaliate.

While in the corner, Dirk would weakly look ahead and take notice of what the champion was doing. She gave Ryan a stiff shot before whipping right into the same corner that Dirk himself was in!

Guhf!

Ryan's built body crashed back first into the smaller Dirk, shoving him back into the corner and leaving him trapped between a turnbuckle and a Paragon place. Now that Iris had her opponents where she needed them, she would attempt to get the crowd behind her as she was planning for something big! After that was successful, she would charge into Ryan's direction for a running big boot into the corner! Her boot smacked Ryan's face, which in turn would hit Dirk in his face!

Ryan would fall to the mat and roll away to nurse his face leaving Dirk still in the corner. Wanting to keep her momentum, Iris would run back to the opposite of the ring and run back into that same corner intent to deliver that same fate to the rookie!

Unfortunately for Iris, Dirk would see that coming and was ready to counter her attack! As she got closer and lifted her foot up to send her foot through the male wrestler's face, Dirk would quickly bring his hands up and grab her foot just before impact!

"Not this time!"
He would shout as he held on tightly to her leg and walked her out of the corner on her one leg. If Iris would attempt to swipe at his face during this, he would quickly shift his head back and dodge her strikes. Then, once they were adequately away from the corner, Dirk would swing the champ's leg harshly to the left so that her whole body would spin 180 degrees around. Finally, he would grab a hold of Iris's head, spin himself around and fall unto his backside all the while pulling on Iris's head down and giving her a quick Hangman's Neckbreaker!

If that worked, he would scramble to attempt to pin the champion in the hopes of stealing a quick win!

Ryan was having to deal with such a blur of events thanks to it being a three way brawl, the Paragon managing to land his blow on Dirk but before he could really capitalise Iris had managed to regain enough strength to try and take advantage of both guys being distracted and was able to take full advantage of it. The next thing Ryan knew Iris's boot smacked right into his muscled jaw! Okay now Ryan had a durable chin for certain but that blow took him by complete surprise and sent him stumbling into the corner.

His one eyed vision blurred from the pain, but in the midst of it all Ryan saw that there looked to be a pin attempt with Dirk making a sudden turn around. Ryan groaned quietly and felt his body ache, but he flexed his muscles and rushed forward intent on sprinting forward and leaping onto Dirk and Iris and slamming all of them at once with a leaping right armed elbow drop aimed any which way so long as it landed on them!

Victory...? Victory..?! No. Of course not. It was never that easy. Not for Dirk at least. The Paragon's elbow slamming directly unto Dirk's back! The sudden pain immediately caused the rookie to sit upright and get off of Iris. He would then place the right side of his head onto mat and nurse his back. "Urrgh! Nnngh!" He groaned as looked to his left to see his one eyed opponent also weakened.

Dirk would harshly smack himself in the face with his both of his hands to hype himself and remember the objective: winning the championship! After a quick head shake, Dirk quickly got to his feet (although he did shake a bit due to the wear and tear of the match taking its toll on his body) and dashed over to Ryan.

He would then get near the paragon's legs, grab a hold of Ryan's right foot and quickly twisting it as hard as he could muster! Locking in his "SAY UNCLE" submission finisher!

The referee would quickly kneel down close to the paragon and asked if he wanted to quit or keep going!
Now, the question was, would Ryan tap? Escape the hold? Or maybe... would Iris quickly get to her feet and stop the secret weapon?

Iris was in the middle of the ring after sending both opponents to both corners in opposite directions. She ran first at the one where Ryan was and successfully delivered the boot to his face to make him fall and hold his face. Later, she turned around and ran at Dirk to do the same move but gets stopped at the tracks when he grabbed her leg and countered with the Hagman's Neckbreaker away from the corner, as Iris was slammed down for Dirk's pin.

The referee slides to make the count near them as he slams the mat! 1! 2! the referee was going to finish the count until Ryan came from the corner he was against and stopped the count with that big elbow! The elbow impacted both of them due to its power, and Iris lays upside down after rolling, and lays near a corner when Dirk went against Ryan for the hold on the leg and ankle.

Ryan was piloting on instinct as he dove in to break up the pin, throwing caution to the wind and crashing his 200 plus pound muscled frame onto the two other wrestlers in the ring. Managing to break the pin just in time and keep himself still in the match at the very least, however Dirk managed to recover quicker than Ryan predicted and managed to cinch in what felt like a right legged ankle lock onto the muscled Paragon. A move that he himself was rather familiar with as it turned out.

The Paragon hissed through his teeth and buried his head into her hands before shaking his head to the ref when asked if he yielded. Ryan wasn't going to be taking this lying down as he pushed himself up and let out a loud yell, every fibre of his muscle flexing to push his body upwards......So that he could attempt a move of sorts by trying to then roll himself forward once his body was upwards enough so that he could yank Dirk forward and attempt a quick roll up pin attempt to try and swipe the win away!
