Yona Giovani vs. Hikaru Sawazaki

Hikaru was in shock as Yona seemingly casually shook off one of her most potent moves! She shook her head and moved in to grapple with Yina trying to twist her arm to the side to get her in a wrist lock. Nothing Hikaru did seemed to have any effect on her opponent.

Yona was pumped with adrenaline, both fighters and the audience not realizing that the brunette was PRIMARILY fueled by her ferocity alone. However, she'd admit, the DDT actually managed to do some damage to her head. It wasn't as if her stitches opened up or anything, but Yona noticed her vision was slightly hazy; the heel losing her stiff footing. That's when, all of a sudden, her opponent grabbed her arm and twisted it suddenly. Yona shrieked in pain, getting on one knee as she felt a sharp sting to the area near her elbow. Hikaru's frustration over Yona's overwhelming resilience was beginning to show, her opponent not holding back one bit. Yona bit hard on her lower lip, knowing there wasn't much she could do to stop Hikaru. She was too far from the ropes to slip out, or even do a flip without landing on her ass. She had to stay there and take it on the chin, the brunette letting out a soft, prolonged wheezing; the energy and momentum she built beginning to wither down with every passing minute.
"I...m not.. A damn pushover.. bitch!" Yona growled, using the last of her strength to spit out such an overconfident declaration. It didn't help either that she was beginning to feel dizzy from the constant attacks to the head. The wrist lock was the key her opponent truly needed to knock Yona down a peg, the heel beginning to feel all her damage the moment she began to calm down from her violent high. The audience gasped, Yona seeming as if she was one light tap away from being knocked out cold. Yona knew this very well, biting harder on her lip to try and stop herself from falling out of consciousness, but ultimately left more vulnerable than ever to Hikaru.

Hikaru heard Yona, and never saw her as a pushover. She shook her head keeping her focus on the match. Holds and technique seemed to be the way to go. She would try to push Yona away and when Yona turned to face her the worn out Hikaru would try to grapple with her. Hikaru would attempt to position her for a standing wrist lock to slow the pace... but she knew she would be open for offense for a brief moment....

Yona, like a hawk, noticed an opening, as if it was instinctual to her, quickly sending a soft jab to her stomach; the brunette trying to slip from her grasp, rolling away to the ropes to catch her breath. She had to hand it to her, Hikaru was no joke, but now, like ever, the brunette saw herself as the best. There was no way she was going to be beaten like that. Hell, she's literally survived getting her skull cracked open, a Kendo stick to the body, and strangely, so many bloody beatdowns. Soon, Yona let out a loud growl, glaring at her opponent. The heel was going to let her get the next move in, hoping to maneuver it into something she could use to get one over on the Hikaru. But, for now, the two were stuck in a stand-off, the girls waiting for the other to strike.

Hikaru knew the more technical route was working best. She stepped up trying to grapple with Yona hoping to grab her by an arm while thrusting her hip up against Yona. Hikaru was going to try to hip toss Yona to the mat while keeping hold of that arm hoping to drop down and transition right into an arm bar submission hold!

Yona saw Hikaru approaching her, and swiftly decided to take her by surprise, tightening her grasp on the ropes and leaping upwards. She sent a powerful knee to her opponent's chin, thinking it would send the far more traditional wrestler backwards, which would give the brunette time to reclaim dominance in the match. As Hikaru dropped, she stayed in the air, and dropped her knee down on her opponent's stomach. By now, Yona knew what to expect from her, and wasn't going to be outsmarted so easily. Not when she was prepared to give her body and soul into winning the fight.
"You didn't see that coming, huh?!"

Hikaru was in shock as she took the knee to the jaw falling back. Yona landed on top of her right after leaving Hikaru writhing on the mat in pain cradling her mid-section as she was trying to figure out how things had gone south so quickly. She was in a lot of pain and this woman was taking it to her once more.

Yona, knowing that had the freedom to show off a bit, took a few steps back from her opponent, leaving enough space for her. All of a sudden, she burst with energy, running over to her, and rolling on the canvas, kickflipping her self in the air and attempting to land a hard kick to Hikaru's head, her body hovering over her momentarily.

Hikaru was still down as she took yet another kick to the head! She groaned and flopped a bit on the canvas seemingly beat at this juncture in the match. She wasn't really moving aside from her arms cradling her head while she laid flat on her back on the canvas.

Yona wasted no time in capitalizing on the situation and swiftly initiated her move to pin her opponent down. The referee swiftly began counting, his pace increasing as he finally reached the crucial count of three, signaling Yona's victory. The brunette heel got back up and raised her arm in the air, slamming her foot down on Hikaru's stomach to make sure she couldn't escape. Now, that she had assured her victory, it was time for her to have some fun with her defeated little doll of a loser.
