The Hitjob - Saori Saito vs. Maria Cacti

Zebra Woman had a stony, cold look on her face. The low lighting made her face look far more sinister. She was in the locker rooms in her backstage casual attire. She was still healing from the utter wreckfest that was the events of the last week. But now, consequences were going to be delivered.

"The details, are they clear?" She asked in a low voice, her cold face glaring at the person in front of her. "Are you sure you're up for the task?"

Meanwhile on the other end was Saori Saito, in her hippy peppy pomp energy as she said, "Hell yeah, I'm up for that! You can count on me! I always get a real good job done!" Zebra Woman grimaced at this. Saori was definitely...an interesting person. She'd seen her match recordings, and decided that as unpredictable as she was, she was possibly a great choice for dealing with the pest called Maria Cacti.

"Do NOT let me down." Zebra Woman demanded.

Maria Cacti would be wrapping up editing another video for her YouTube Channel. She was excited to be in another match in AFW and she wanted to make sure her opponent enjoyed her presence as well. Maria heard that her opponent was hand picked by her best friend Zebra Woman, what a kind friend to choose her opponent for her. She would get herself pumped up before exiting her locker room and towards the show curtain. Once she was given her queue, Maria came through the show curtain and made her appearance.

Maria made her entrance to the sound of a mixed but mostly negative crowd. They hated how kid-friendly Maria was as they saw her as an annoyance. It didn’t matter to Maria though as she waved at all of them before waddling down the ramp like a penguin. She really was acting like a child, some theorized she actually was but those claims would be untrue. She then entered the ring and waited for her opponent chosen by Zebra Woman to make her entrance.

And IMMEDIATELY the crowd got even more agitated. Maria could hear several "Oh hell no!"s, and some gleeful "FINALLY someone who can destroy her!" It seems whoever was coming in was making this even more of a mixed bag for everyone. Seems tonight was going to be a really noisy night of disapproval.

Down the ring strode the figure of Saori Saito:

She jumped up, waved at the audience (who threw a mix of boos and demands to kill Maria at her), and did a jumping flip, then stopped right at the base of the ring before pulling herself up the ropes and sliding in. She then stood straight, throwing a V for victory symbol. "Hello, people!"

She was answered by someone throwing a tomato at her that she dodged. "Wh-who throws tomatoes anymore?!"

Maria gasped when someone threw a tomato to Saori. However, she would be more worried about the tomato than her opponent. She then looked at the crowd in shock.

“Now who in their right mind would throw such a perfect and delicate tomato at someone. These can easily bruise, which is like me whenever I’m feeling sad.”

The match needed to get under way as the referee groaned and told the fans to cease throwing stuff in the ring so that they can have a match. Maria would actually bite into the tomato before swallowing it and tossing it to the side. She then waited for the bell to ring to begin the match.

Saori was shaken by the fact that Maria actually ate the tomato that had been thrown. She was about to say something but decided against it.

The bell rang, signalling the start of the match! Saori put her fighter stance up, bringing both arms up in an MMA stance, as she hopped forward, approaching Maria. She wasn't sure what to expect from the shorter person but she knew not to let her guard down as she approached with caution.

Maria heard the bell ring and began the match by standing in the middle of the ring and held out her hand for a good sportsmanship handshake. She always has good feelings about her opponents until said otherwise. Maria just wanted a fun little match between her opponents and her.

“Let’s have a fun match and have everyone be so proud of our wrestling skills.”

Saori looked at Maria, raising an eyebrow. Something about it all just made her seem so hard to take seriously; she wasn't sure if it was the voice, the size, the demeanor, the context but something just made Maria just...seem so stupid, that Saori found it hard to take her seirously. But she was not willing to let her guard down at all.

With a careful approach, and a hop in her step, Saori moved forward, before throwing her hands out in a feint grab in an attempt to make Maria back up!

Maria, really not seeing the threat Saori was going for, decided to interpret the feint grab from Saori as a hug. She would wrap her arms around Saori as she swung her around a bit.

“Aww. You shouldn’t have. If you wanted to start this match off with a big ol hug, why didn’t you tell me so.”

A skill that Maria has no control over was that her hugs were super tight. It was an amazing feat by Maria as she has been hugging people so much to where it just hurts to be in one of her hugs.

The feint backfired spectacularly as Saori found herself in Maria's crushing hug. First surprised, it switched to gasping as Saori felt Maria's crushing hug squeezing her waist to ground beef. Hearing Maria's statement made her wonder if Maria was being genuine. Might as well?

Saori said, with straining, "H...hey that's, yeah, that's cute...h..haah!" she said, as she could tell the crowd was a mix of sniggers and boos, before going, "But now it's...time to....get real!" With that, Saori jumped up, letting her weight do the rest of the talking as she brought her weight down on the smaller fighter in an attempt to get her to let go by trying to smush her under her weight!

Maria would be toppled over after Saori applied her full weight to take her down. Maria would let go of Saori as she rubbed her back and look at Saori with a slight frown.

“Owie. My back.”
