Meiyun Lai Vs Ellie Taylor: iron woman bout!

Ellie had been a little nervous on the lead up to her return match, the diligent redhead had maintained her training though, in fact she had put even more effort in during her short break! The farm girl smiled backstage and steeled her nerves, waiting patiently for her queue. Once Ellie got the signal, she would burst out onto the ramp! Right as her theme music played, the novice got some cheers as she appeared on the stage, waving her arm in the air to greet her fans.

Ellie then jogged down to the ring, too energetic to bother with much theatrics, rolling under the ropes and settling into one of the corners as her music started to dim. With a long exhale Ellie would start to stretch her arms and legs, getting herself nimble and ready to fight.

Ellie was not aware of her opponent beforehand, so who she was fighting in this iron man match was weighing on her mind, thus far all her matches had been against girls that far outweighed and outsized herself, a common occurrence for her in afw, so Ellie was already trying to get in the zone and be ready to move fast when it was time.

Backstage, Meiyun's heart was racing. But not with fear - no, she was getting fired up with excitement for what lay ahead! In just a few moments, Meiyun would be called to the ramp for her first match in AFW. A match that would see her set the stage for a glorious career to follow, where she would prove her strength and skill to the world and emerge as the strongest wrestler in history! She didn't even know, going in, that it was going to be an ironwoman match until about an hour or so ago - one where she would have to fight on for a full hour and rack up pinfall after pinfall. And yet, that hadn't dampened Mei's spirits one bit! That just meant she would have even more opportunity to show the world everything she could do, and how hard she had trained for this very moment. This was her big night - and she was here to make it count!

As the lights set on the ramp and the music started playing, Meiyun came charging out from the curtains, her fists held high! A cheer went through the stands at the promise of a new challenger appearing on the scene, and Meiyun was eager to give them a match worthy of the hype! She slapped plenty of high-fives on the way down to the ring, taking off down it in a charge; then, she hopped up onto the apron and slid in through the ropes before hopping up to her feet. Facing Ellie with a grin, she planted her fist in her palm - she was ready for anything!

"Let's make this a great match!" she boasted.

Ellie watched her foe charge from behind the curtains! Bursting through with her arms held high, before making her way down to the ring, high fiving fans on her way and building up the cheers that had started from her spirited entrance.

The redhead hadn't mastered exciting the crowd yet, and it was interesting to watch someone else succeed. Ellie considered trying something like that in the future. Ellie smiled as Meiyun entered the ring, the shorter lady hopping up to her feet as she grinned at Ellie and struck a cute pose.

" I'm hoping to. " Ellie said with a smile, she was used to the more abrasive standoffish ladies in the league at this point, so it was a welcome change of pace to face someone different.

Once the bell rang Ellie approached from her corner, the redhead figured her usual strategy of quick attacks would fare less effectively here, so instead Ellie would try to approach somewhat cautiously, on the defensive, though she would try to pressure Meiyun back towards her corner, and if the lady got too close Ellie would try to kick her in her side before backing up abruptly.

Even after the referee had beckoned both women to their corners, Meiyun was having a hard time sitting still. She bobbed eagerly up and down with a grin on her face. In just a few moments, her first match in AFW would be underway - and when she had spent all this time training and preparing for this exact moment, she could hardly wait to show the world everything she had learned! As she was being checked for foreign objects, Mei peered over the ref's shoulder to look at Ellie with a grin. She could only hope she was just as excited as she was!

*DING DING DING*

Now, the bell had rung - and Meiyun was ready for it! A grin lit up across her face as she hopped to her feet, cracking her knuckles as she readied herself for battle! Always a believer in striking hard and fast as soon as she had her cue, Meiyun took off running toward Ellie, trying to close the range between them. But when she did, she would be greeted by a firm kick to the side, as Ellie swung her leg up into her ribs!

A loud crack sounded, causing Meiyun to double over forward into a three-point stance. She coughed and sputtered, rubbing at her side to try and dull the pain. But she just looked back at Ellie with a glare, letting her know that she wasn't done yet! Pushing herself back to her full height, Meiyun would come charging toward Ellie with a few quick strides; as she came close, she would turn her hips to the side and kick out her leg to try and hit her foe with a roundhouse kick! "HAAAH!!"

Meiyun seemed to be struggling to contain her energy as they waited for the bell to ring. Ellie quickly learned that against Meiyun taking it methodical was going to be difficult! Meiyun ran quickly at Ellie, a move that shocked the redhead and nearly caused her to panic, but the position was recoverable with that low kick Ellie planned if things had went wrong, with that Ellie smiled a little and exhaled before trying to step forward, but Meiyun was just a little bit quicker as she stepped up and spun round! Her leg stretching out, and whacking the side of Ellie's head! Her arms were raised, but not enough to do much else other than catch the bottom of her foot slightly to weaken the impact.

Still Ellie went down with a cry, hitting her side a bit groggy, trying her best to quickly turn to a better position on her front, though the movement was a little disorientating after the dizziness brought on by the kick.

Even before the bell had sounded, Meiyun was hyped up and ready to make her mark on AFW for the first time. The very second it rang, she was going to pounce at that opportunity! She came charging in in a flash to close the distance on Ellie, and even if that had taken her into the path of a kick, she wouldn't let it slow her down for long - she managed to roll with the momentum and turn it to her advantage, whipping her body around in a circle and kicking out her leg to slam a powerful roundhouse kick into her foe!

Ellie went down, and the crowd burst into cheers at the sight of such courage and determination on display! Meiyun stood up a little straighter, lifting her head with a smile as she basked in the satisfaction of a job well done. Of course, she knew she couldn't stop now. Now that she had gotten the advantage, she wasn't going to give it up so easily!

Bending down, Meiyun tried to grab onto Ellie's arm to pull her back to her feet. If successful, she'd follow that up with a short-range chop to the sternum, hopefully knocking her against the ropes!

Ellie didn't get much time on the ground before Meiyun huddled over her and grabbed her head to pull her back up! The redhead then getting a quick chop into her chest as soon as she was up, naturally causing Ellie to cry out again as she stumbled backwards, unable to fix her Ballance as the pain was momentarily overwhelming.

The ropes caught Ellie mid tumble like a net, her arms grabbing at the ropes as she was left dangling with one hand on two different ropes. Meanwhile the crowd cheered not once, but twice! As Meiyun delivered fast paced attacks that the bigger lady was being successfully kept In line by.

" Ughh... " Ellie grumbled, groggy as her head and chest were both sore, despite her size Meiyun's strikes stung, she was a deceptively threatening striker.

Meiyun had landed a solid blow against Ellie, but that wouldn't be enough for her. Now that she was in control, she felt the surge of excitement take hold of her, and she wasn't going to let go of that so easily! It made her feel powerful, capable, and in control, and she wanted to ride that feeling as far as she could! No sooner had Ellie gone down that Meiyun pulled her back up, lashing out with a well-placed chop across her chest. It landed with the sound of a thwack, causing no shortage of cheers from the crowd at the Hakka girl's fiery comeback! And from there, Meiyun would only follow that up with a few more chops!

With every blow she landed, and every crack that rang out through the air, the grin on Meiyun's face grew wider and wider. This might have been her first match in AFW, but she was putting up a good fight, proving she had what it took to hold her own! In fact, if Ellie was dazed enough that she wouldn't have to worry about her fighting back, Meiyun was just going to take things a step further! Leaning in closer and grabbing her by the head, she leaned back and kicked off the ground, going to slam her head-first into the mat for a DDT!

Ellie was clipped hard in the chest by that chop! One would have stunned her for a moment, but more and more came! The spirited Meiyun chopped Ellie so much the girl ended up utterly stunned and groggy, leaning back into the ropes, before being pulled forward from them, her head stuffed under her foes arm as she soaked in the cheers from the crowd.

At this moment there was no illusion of a comeback from Ellie, not right now. The redhead was yanked down and drilled head first into the canvas with a dry! With a shrill cry Ellie hit the mat, her head thudding and her body flipping with the momentum as her hips and back hit the ground hard. Ellie felt completely outclassed, barely able to squirm as she was laid out now, looking up at the ceiling, catching an image of her cute foe's perky foes figure in her vision. Ellie had been crushed less by giants, her cheeks glowed red as the farm girl realised she had underestimated the wrong girl... And to make things worse she was so cute too, even from this angle.

" Ughh...damn...you're pretty good " Ellie thought aloud, contending with the realisation that she had only really fought girls slower than her, and Meiyun was explosive dynamite, Ellie was falling far far behind.

With every chop she landed across her opponent's chest, Meiyun could feel another surge of adrenaline rush through her system. She knew full well that she was in control of the momentum, and she wasn't going to look back! The grin on her face grew wider with rising excitement. But she could take it even further! Gripped by a rush of fighting spirit, Mei ran in to throw her arm around Ellie's head and pull her in closer - and then, she threw her weight over to the side, taking Ellie down with a thud!

As the red-haired girl hit the mat, a loud thump rang out, accompanied by the cheers of the fans! Meiyun rolled to her side, off of Ellie, and threw a fist in the air in celebration of her efforts. When she heard her opponent praise her, that only made her smile even wider, nodding her head in Ellie's direction. "Heh, you haven't seen anything yet!~"

Indeed, Meiyun was determined to make good on that statement! She kipped back up to her feet, rushing from one side of the ring to the other. She threw herself against the ropes to bounce off of them, and fire herself toward Ellie. As she came close, she dropped down and sprung toward Ellie in a cartwheel, aiming to slam her leg down across her gut as she came into range! It was about time she put her dance training on display!
