Yona Giovani vs. Hikaru Sawazaki

Hikaru flew through the air and came crashing down... on nothing! Yona moved and Hikaru landed painfully to the outside and groaned, her head being rocked by Yona's follow up offense leaving her laid out and on her side.

Yona grabbed Hikaru by the hair, and dragged her back inside the ring. She was feeling herself a bit, encouraged that she managed to get the momentum back. The foul-mouthed heel stomped her foot into her hip, hauling up to her stomach. Once she got to her midriff, she rubbed her foot back and forth, hoping to leave a mark of humiliation on her opponent; perhaps making it look like she was road kill.

Hikaru feels herself back in the ring, grunting when she is stomped. Yona digs her heel in and Hikaru kicks in pain as she reaches up to grab Yona's ankle. Hikaru grunts and pushes it away before rolling the other direction to create some space so she can try to rise back to her feet.

Yona immediately followed her opponent, sliding her foot into a kick, accidentally sending Hikaru flying back to the turnbuckle. She hadn't meant to help the woman put distance between them, but either way, she knew after a hard hit like that, it wasn't going to be easy for Hikaru to get back up. The brunette quickly took advantage of the situation, pouncing on her and jabbing her knee into Hikaru's lower stomach. Yona made sure to aim at the same place, hoping that it would become her weak spot in case the momentum began to flip sides.
"You bore me, y'know?! I've met bugs that lasted longer than you have!"

Hikaru groaned as she was kicked and shook her head. However when Yona came to pounce Hikaru was ready! She moved her arms to protect her abdomen and when Yona was close she lashed out punching at her and trying to land enough strikes to get her to back off allowing Hikaru to rise to her feet.

Yona fell backwards from the hits, quick to maneuver herself back up, sending a hard kick to Hikaru's chest, hoping to send her back to the turnbuckle. Her opponent almost got one over on her, but she was prepared for an attack. It was exactly what she trained against, so she wouldn't go down too easily anymore. The brunette had proven herself as a worthy fighter, but she wanted to be more than that—she wanted to show how overwhelmingly skilled she had become in the ring. In just months, she'd gone from a newbie to a complete powerhouse in all aspects: speed, technique, strength, and resilience.

Thankfully for Hikaru, Yona kept trying to do the same thing repeatedly and against a technician like her it only meant that she would be more prepared for the move. Hikaru stepped to the side as the kick came and instead extended her arm to clothesline Yona. Hikaru was on the back foot for almost this whole match and she was doing her best to put a stop to that.

Yona collided into her opponent's arm, leaving the heel stunned as she had her head slammed down on the canvas. She let out a fierce groan, holding the back of her neck with one hand. The brunette had truly met her match, so in an attempt to recover and re-evaluate her situation, she rolled away from Hikaru, lightly hitting the turnbuckle. It was nothing new for Yona to get her ass kicked a bit, but it was never anything she enjoyed; not one bit. In fact, she was about prepared to burst a blood vessel out of annoyance that her opponent was getting one over on her. She gritted her teeth, and got on one knee, both trying to catch her breath and show that she wasn't going to be a pushover. The audience knew how overwhelmingly unstoppable she was when pinned against the wall, but now, just like another other match, she was there to prove herself as the one true, greatest heel. With such reaffirmation, she certainly had the spirit to fight back.
"Come on, bitch! Was that all you got?!"

Hikaru was already moving in when Yona spoke. She grabbed Yona by the head swinging her knee into Yona's face as hard as she could! Hikaru would then try to pull Yona up to her feet and underhook both Yona's arms. Hikaru was going to try to jump up and lean back planting Yona head first to the mat with a double underhook DDT if she could.

Right as Yona began to gain her bravado back, she took hit after hit to the face, eventually having her head planted down on the canvas. The audience looked on in silence, the heel having been completely destroyed by her opponent. There was a brief moment of peace, before Yona's legs hit the canvas hard, echoing across the room. Everyone thought Hikaru had managed to knock her out, but before the referee could call it a day, the brunette raised her hand in the air, pulling out the middle finger and pointing it at her pink-haired adversary; rebellion in her gesture that properly told everyone in the crowd, including Hikaru that she wasn't going to give up. Yona, in an act of athleticism, bent her hip and swayed it around, steering her body back on its feet. She didn't say much, but you could tell from the devilish grin on her face that she was just as confident as ever. The heel spat in Hikaru's face, the two somewhat distant from each other. Surprisingly, she wasn't ready to attack yet, preferring to provoke Hikaru to go harder, once again taking this as a challenge to show how resilient she truly was.
"Don't underestimate me, you're just going to dig yourself a bigger grave," she shouted, glaring at her. In fact, for a moment, she noticed that both of them were about the same height. It only pushed the idea that they were evenly matched far more reasonable. Hikaru would keep attacking, but Yona would keep getting back up; not that it would stay that way for long, however.
