Alizeh Midori (D) vs Adrian Kytes: Starting against the Best

Alizeh just glared at Adrian's words, too focused on suppressing the pain in her leg to make a comeback. Besides Alizeh was starting to understand now that arguing with the woman was pointless, she was a far cry from the former champion Alizeh had expected and she wasn't about to let the woman best her. Unfortunately though Alizeh's leg had taken some damage from that submission, and she'd have to be careful with it going forward.

Keeping an eye on Adrian as she circled her Alizeh would tense her muscles, feeling an attack was coming and sure enough Adrian would come surging forward pulling her leg back and sweeping it out, low no doubt aiming to target her leg! 'Shit!' Alizeh thought pulling her leg back, but not quite in time, and was still clipped by Adrian's foot, not enough to get the full force, but enough to make Alizeh wince sharply in pain before sucking in a breath and swinging her arm around to try and drive a forearm smash into Adrian's chest to force her back.

Adrian was able to get in and smack Alizeh neatly with a low kick like she was playing Tekken trying to get a little extra bit of damage in but the rookie remained standing so that she could remind Adrian of an ugly fact: Just because she had a flat chest relative to the rest of the roster didn't mean that getting a forearm slammed into it with force didn't hurt. Probably made it worse in all reality not having the extra padding "Ugh!" She grunted as she staggered back, clutching her chest as she turned side-on to the Emerald Storm with only the thought of how she was going to pay Alizeh back for comfort over the stinging sensation.

Well if smacking boobs was how this rookie wanted to play it... "Yaa!" Adrian yelled, stepping in to fire a knife edge chop straight at her opponent's chest, the more open top providing even less protection than Adrian's own attire.

Alizeh had something to prove. It was her first match in AFW after all how could she not? Not only was it her first match though, it was her first match against a former champion, she HAD to do well here to prove that she was capable, that she was deserved to have a spotlight on her. As far as her opponent though.. Adrian seemed to not care. Not about this match, not about this company, not about her opponent, just herself. It drove Alizeh crazy and she refused to be outdone by the woman. Slamming her forearm into her chest Alizeh watched as Adrian recoiled, seemingly hurting from the blow before becoming frustrated and standing back up, rearing her arm for no doubt a retaliation shot. All Alizeh did in response, rather than even try and dodge or counter, she simply sucked in a breath and prepared herself as the woman swung her arm forward for a knife edge chop! "Ngh!" Alizeh groaned out before biting her tongue and nodding her head... Before pulling her own arm back and swinging it forward herself, aiming to clap Adrian right back with a return chop of her own!

And now the match which had been previously about strategy and technique and... other things that Adrian got away with, was reduced to a test of stubborn endurance as the mainstay of Japanese pro wrestling ensued: a strike battle between the two competitors "EEEE!" Adrian shrieked as the chop caught her right across the chest at nipple height for the extra sting. She was not looking forward to seeing how red her chest was going to be in the shower if it was this sore already but that wasn't about to stop her from firing back.

Reaching up in the air with one hand covering her chest, the brunette brought her hand down for an overhead chop across the chest instead of going across again, that'll teach the rookies to wear outfits with open unprotected cleavage.

Alizeh was never one to back down from a fight. Whether it came to joining one or a specific challenge between herself and someone else. It didn't matter who it was or what, she would fight back with everything she had to come out on top. That included a brutal chop battle that she found herself and Adrian embroiled in as they unleashed hell upon each other.

"AGH! ngh..." Alizeh yelped and then hissed in pain as Adrian's hand smacked across her chest, right at the exposed part where the damage felt extra stinging. "Ngh... that all you got?" Alizeh asked Adrian with a glare before turning and spinning a full rotation before bringing her arm across Adriana's chest with what was closer to a spinning back fist but in the form of a chop right across the center of Adrian's chest!

That last chop wasn't all Adrian had but it didn't really matter much, the spinning back chop of the Emerald Storm sent her spinning around as it caught the brunette in the side of the chest and leaving the former champ's back exposed while she tried to summon the movement through the stinging pain to turn back around. It was at times like this still having working braincells was a disadvantage in a wrestling ring. Maybe this was why so many took a bunch of painkillers.

While a chop battle was the best way to go about things in the moment, Alizeh knew that it wouldn't be a great sustained strategy, though it at least meant some heavy damage to Adrian by the looks of it. That being said Alizeh needed to change the pace if she wanted to take the lead in the match, and that back fist had done its job at sufficiently stunning Adrian and giving Alizeh just the chance she needed. Smirking softly with the veteran's back to her Alizeh would dart forward, trying to snap her arms up under Adrian's armpits, attempting to catch her in a full nelson hold where she would then throw herself backwards, looking to smash the woman with a dragon suplex!

Alizeh's form on the suplex was excellent for someone so young. From how swiftly she snatched Adrian's arms back to instantly throwing herself back knowing that the hold was secure and finally to the bridge she held to make sure the ex champ landed on her shoulders instead of just spiking her on her head and letting momentum carry her over. If the circumstances were different Adrian might have applauded the move but instead there was only OWWWWWW. It was up to the Emerald Storm whether to hold on for the pin or to let go and keep the pain train rolling down the tracks, Adrian didn't have much say in things at the moment.

Success! In spite of Adrian's attempts at cheating and cutting corners take advantage, Alizeh was finally starting to turn things definitively into her favor! Starting off with the dragon suplex Alizeh would release her grip and stand up, but not before turning and grabbing hold of Adrian's legs before they could fall to the mat. If successful in doing so she would walk backwards towards the corner. "Hope you like going for a ride." Alizeh said with a smirk as she then dropped down, pulling on Adrian's legs to send her up and over, catapulting the older woman face and chest first into the corner!

The ref didn't have time to count Adrian's shoulders on the canvas with how quickly Alizeh was on the move, spinning out and hooking the legs to drag the former champ along the canvas. "Not really..." the black clad brunette groaned as she had kind of worked out where she was and what was going on just from looking at the ropes on either side. Of course knowing what was going on and doing something about it were two very different things as Adrian was catapulted up and forward, her feet not even on the ground as she splashed chest first into the tunbuckle pads, but instead of splatting back down to the canvas the pained fighter moved to the side, rolling over the middle rope and landing on her feet outside the ring with a couple of stumbled steps. Adrian needed to regroup and it seemed like she was going to take to the outside to do it.
