Nemean Daphne vs. Mae Hune - To face a legend in the shadows (Discord RP with szzickra)

Daphne had heard there were indie wrestling circuits all over Tsubar, but she hadn't really seen any of them in particular. It would make sense; Tsubar was a international crossroads, so people and businesses and other things would show up around every corner. And as Sovereign Reign Wrestling was here, it made sense that plenty of small independent circuits would pop up too, trying to cash in on the high amount of wrestling fans. And Daphne, during a stroll on the weekend around Tsubar, happened upon one. It wasn't very visible from afar but close up and its flyer and sign was clear, and what got her was that she immediately recognized a familiar sight; the insignia that was the circuits symbol was an Arepolis symbol! She guessed that it was for marketing purposes, but seeing such a familiar symbol gave her a sense of mental ease.

Entering in, she was a bit disappointed. The walls were a dull white paint on concrete, and dim light bulbs leading down a tight corridor and some sideways doors, the main show door leading down some stairs. One of the guards, a four armed insectoid, looked at Daphne and nearly jumped. "Hey, you're a-!" he said before quickly recomposing himself. "Ah, uh, he...hello! How can we help you?" Daphne asked, "Is this an indie circuit? I would like to look around a bit!" The guard, surprised, said, "Um, right...go down the stairs, the arenas down there. You can talk to our manager down there." Thanking the guard, Daphne clambered down the stairs and entered into the real show.

Now THIS was more like it. It had a proper decor style that looked more like home; the pillar style, the lighting and floor patterns, the arena wasn't large but it still felt familiar and she liked it. There was a fight going on in the ring, but her attention was drawn to a minotaur who walked up to her, "H...hey, you're...you're that new wrestler at, at Sovereign Reign! Daphne, right?" Daphne smiled. Her reputation was already spreading and it'd only been a month! She should remember to thank Sugar for her debut. If that beaver ever had the humility to take it.

Daphne replied, "Yes, indeed! True Olympian blood, right here!" she said with a pep in her voice. The minotaur stroked his little beard, a thoughtful look on his face. "Well, I suppose...naw, its, its stupid...." Daphne raised an eyebrow, asking, "Whats the matter?" The minotaur looked at her, before going, "The names Carlton, I'm the manager of this little circuit here. We were doing fine until.....she showed up." The minotaur looked at the fight in the ring, as did Daphne. It then occured to Daphne that the fight was already over, and the cheers were ringing, as the loser on the floor lay bloodied and hurt while her opponent, stood tall and mighty.

Carlton then brought his attention back on Daphne, "The Drow of Power herself. The one drow that moves, circuit to circuit, leaving behind many victories and injured fighters. Mae Hune herself." The name caused Daphne's head to swivel quickly. "WAIT, wait, HER?" That name. Mae Hune, she had heard of it back at home with her friends at the Battlepunks Club. Some of them wanted to see her in action, and Daphne was left stunned that she was going to be seeing that drow in all her glory soon.

Carlton continued, "Yeap. Shes been beating up all my talents and fighters. None of them have left her satisfied, and at this rate, I'll be steeped in medical bills! Please, PLEASE," Carlton got on his knees and begged Daphne, "I don't know what to do! I can't sacrifice any more talents to her!" Daphne looked at Carlton in surprise, then at Mae in the ring. She then looked back at Carlton with a determined smile. "Say no more!"

Daphne, wearing her iconic wrestling suit, was ready, as Mae and the audience had been informed of the surprise change for the next match.

Everyone watched from their seats as the latest fight has just ended... and the newcomers were entering the ring as the loser was dragged away, and the winner walked away with her victory.

MAE!!! MAE!!!

The people cheered as they watched the Dark elf woman in her battle bikini. Blue with the silver lining. Matching her white hair and grey toned skin. She ducked under the ropes, and stepped into the Olympian themed Ring.

Taking her corner. She raised her arms and balled her hands into fists. Ready to fight for the masses.

Daphne looked at adjusting her gloves again, and setting her badge straight again. She had to stretch her arms, legs, and tail again, before doing a light motivational jogging in place to get her morale up.

She walked up to, and out of the ampitheatre entrance, lifting her hands up as there were cheers thrown for her. Doing a light twirl, she walked up to the ring, before hoisting herself on a hand stand and wrapped her legs around the top rope, and hoisted herself up on it, before wrapping her hands around the top rope, and letting go of her legs, opening them wide in a leg split, delighting the crowd with her flexible abilities! As she put her feet down and calmly took her position, she bowed her head to Mae before saying, "Greetings! I am Daphne, and I hope to entertain you and the audience today."

A sense of tension and weight gripped her, knowing that she was going to face someone whose name echoed in the indie circuits. But she was ready.

"We shall see." The elf said very plainly. As if she neither thought much of Daphne, or had any ill will towards her. And as the crowds settled and the two girls were settling into place in their corners.

They were introduced by the referee... before he gave the call to start this fight.

DING DING DING.

The Chime of the bell rang out. And Mae shot out from her corner like she was a cannon ball. Crashing against Daphne... if she was ready or not. As the two locked in a clinch as Mae forced the issue. The elf woman wanted to see how this Cat wrestled... wanted to feel her furr brush against the naked parts of her body.

She was flexible... but that didn't always save someone from pain and suffering when the walls were torn down..

Mae's response was a bit hard to pick out. Daphne wasn't sure if Mae was taking her seriously or not, if she looked down on her, or just didn't care much. It was a simple tone, its intentions difficult to read for Daphne. Nonetheless, she didn't mind. She had dealt with far worse back at the Sovereign Reign circuit (her debut match was still burnt into her brain), and Mae was at least being nice about it (seemingly). Her mouth was lightly open before she said, "Thank you!" and walking back over to her corner.

As the bell rang, Daphne was in the middle of taking her stance, when Mae shot out of her corner, moving a lot faster than she had anticipated (she really should've seen that coming, Mae was a dark elf). Daphne let out a panicked yelp as she jumped, and was right in the middle of taking off before Mae crashed right into her, Daphne wrapping her arms around her as she felt her back getting smashed into the turnbuckle from Mae's momentum. Letting out a cat-like yowl, her fur bristling against Mae's smooth skin that felt both almost polished yet also like normal skin, Daphne made eye contact with Mae at the close range they were in, her teeth gritting from the pain of the turnbuckle crash. She kept her arms wrapped around Mae, before hooking her lower legs around Mae's calves and pulling in an attempt to floor Mae and get on top of her!

Many girls who had fought Mae could have told Daphne that wrestling this drow elf was like fighting a storm, or some other force of nature. As she was quickly finding out as the cat girl was wrestled into the corner. With Mae pressing herself hard against her furry form and grinding her opponent into the turnbuckles as the Fight was on now!

But before something else could come of it... Delphine hooked her lower legs and tripped up the grey skinned woman to the floor... only to realize that Mae had a plan for that. As her body bucked up hard and the cat was sent tumbling over almost onto her back.

Almost being the word, as she soon found herself being forced to roll over. Mae bringing her arm under Daphnes chin for a choke!

Daphne realized in a second that this was going to be even less easier than she had anticipated. She knew it wasn't going to be easy, but she had guessed this was going to be a real challenge.

Getting thrown over as they were falling over, Daphne crashed on the mat, and just as quickly, found herself being rolled onto her front, and being locked into a chin lock! Her legs thrashed a bit on the mat, as she let out a growl, her left arm folding around Mae's body, while her tail coiled up around Mae's leg. Her right arm, on the other hand, was pulling back, coming in for a hard punch right into the side of Mae's head onto her ear! If that wasn't enough to make Mae let go, Daphne would wind her leg up for a flexible kick aimed right to the back of Mae's head!

The chin lock held in and the crowd watched the elf woman began to choke this pussy cat... even if it wasn't going to stay taht way as Daphne's arms began to fight back and her tail wrapped around her leg. Held in, Mae felt pain sear right into her brain after getting punched like that in the ear.

And while it was a good idea to give Mae another kick to the head. The elf was already working on letting go as her head was too open to do this right now.

She rolled with the cat and thrashed until she bucked up again and kicked Daphne off. Sending the girl almost flying into the same corner she was bulled into the last time. And as Mae stood up on her feet. The elf came in with a fast knee kick that came right in poor Daphne's chest!

Blasting the wind out of her lungs and probably felt like everything inside of her was knocked around.

Mae let go of Daphne's chin, giving her a flow of relief, but she didn't let her guard down, as she had immediately used the opportunity to grapple into a catball with Mae! Both thrashed, rolled, and bucked at each other before Mae managed to kick Daphne off. Daphne hadn't realized the position she was in before she found herself slamming right back into the same corner she had been smashed into earlier. And as she took a moment to re orient herself, she looked up to see Mae's elven reflexes get her on her feet and come charging within the blink of an eye!

Daphne knew there was no dodging this, but she knew she wasn't going to let Mae go without a scratch. For as she felt the knee crash into her chest, driving a lot of wind out of her lungs, Daphne's legs closed in a clapping attack around Mae's neck as a retaliatory strike! Daphne would crumple to the mat in a coughing heap after Mae's attack landed.

Nothing was worse than seeing an attack coming and being unable to do anything about it. As Mae demonstrated with Daphne as she kicked her knee up and knocked the cats chest cavity hard.

But the cat wasn't out of this fight just yet. As she sprang up and closed her neck and and pulled the elf woman down with her onto the floor. She fell into a heap with Mae stuck between her thighs. Struggling to pry herself out from the furry limbs.

The sound of the crowd chanted their names as they watched the drow woman pull herself back up on her hands and knees. Head looking a shade darker from the force she had to do to pull herself out.
