Alizeh Midori (D) vs Adrian Kytes: Starting against the Best

Managing to launch Adrian chest first into the turnbuckle and hearing the oh so satisfying sound of impact Alizeh would pull her legs in and kip up to her feet before turning to focus on Adrian... Only to see the woman scrambling to the outside. Glaring at this Alizeh wasn't about to let the veteran get away just like that. Eyeing up the corner for a moment it only took her a moment to decide as she began to climb up the corner till she was up top, glaring down at Adrian before leaping up, turning through the air as she did so to try and come crashing down onto the woman with a senton!

"Get back in the ring!" Came the instruction that Adrian was all too happy to simply ignore as she took a breather on the outside of the ring. She had till a twenty count, she knew her rights and while the Ref could theoretically count really fast she'd probably get stuck on Sixteen or something. It was time for her to calm down, breathe deeply and start putting together an actual strategy rather than improvising one on the spot "Hey! come on!" The ref cried again but Adrian again didn't listen... and didn't realise that it wasn't addressed to her.

Tilting her head to see what her opponent was up to, the former champ found the ring empty except for the official who was now looking up at something, causing Adrian to turn and well... "Guuugh!" Adrian let out as the bowling ball known as the Emerald Storm wiped her out on the outside, the brunette proving to be an excellent crash mat as she was sent tumbling back with Alizeh on top of her.

With Adrian having escaped from the ring to get some distance between herself and Alizeh the green haired girl wasn't about to let her escape easily. Climbing the corner herself in spite of the ref's words Alizeh would dive forward, throwing caution to the wind as she came down like a meteor on top of her opponent, crashing into her and taking her down to the floor!

"Ngh!" Groaning slightly in pain from the backlash of the move Alizeh would stand up to her feet after panting slightly before bending down, grabbing a hand full of Adrian's hair as she did so, attempting to pull her up to her feet in the process. If successful Alizeh would move to turn and whip Adrian back into the ring before following her back in herself, trying to make sure Adrian was back first on the mat before lifting her leg for a pinfall attempt!

You could tell that the black-clad brunette was in a bad way when she couldn't even mumble out a comment when Alizeh grabbed her hair and the rookie would have no trouble hoisting Adrian's barely-responsive body back up and in to the ring. "One!" The referee counted as she slapped the canvas to an unresponsive Adrian, not hesitating to move on to "Two!" but before the third hand could come down the former champion's body jolted, getting her shoulder up just in time much to the frustration of both the Emerald Storm and the official, even though Adrian still looked to be on dream street in a broken down car the match was still going on.

Managing to take Adrian down from above and splattering her on the floor Alizeh was looking to capitalize as much as possible, hoping the impact would be enough to put Adrian away. Hence rolling her back in the ring and pinning her down for what she hoped would be a land mark win... Unfortunately however the veteran would manage to thrust her shoulder up keeping the match alive and forcing Alizeh to dig even deeper for a way to end this. "Alright then..." Alizeh said as she stood up, grabbing Adrian by the arm and pulling her up to her feet as well. "Let's end off with a bang." Alizeh said, bending down and sticking her head between Adrian's legs before huffing as she moved to try and stand up along with Adria on her shoulders in a electric chair position to set up her Hurricane Driver finisher!

This was never a good position to be in, rookie or veteran. Being so out of it that you were unable to stop someone hoisting you up on their shoulders was a one way trip to a bad time and a lot of neck pain, Adrian knew this well enough that by the time she was up there she was somewhat more with it, if only because she was waving her arms to maintain enough balance that she didn't fall backwards and spike herself. Actually, hold that thought The former champ thought as she got enough confidence and balance to really throw herself backwards while squeezing her legs together.

The brunette reached down to put her hands on the canvas as soon as she could, using the extra bit of balance to keep her momentum going as she rolled back into a poisoned rana, giving Alizeh a taste of neck pain instead!

This was seemingly it. Alizeh had done a good amount of damage to Adrian and the veteran seemed to be down and out. As insurance though Alizeh wanted to definitively lay the older woman down for the count with a finisher move. Lifting Adrian up was no problem, bringing her back down though was proving to be more difficult unfortunately.

"Ngh! Hold still!" Alizeh called out before Adrian threw herself back, pulling Alizeh off her feet and spiking her head and neck first into the mat with a brutal poison rana! "Aghhh!" Alizeh cried out in pain, her legs coming up and over her from the impact, holding her neck as a result, definitely stunned from the heavy impact!

Adrian might not have been in the best of shapes as she came down from the shoulders of the Emerald Storm but Alizeh was in a much worse one, there really wasn't many ways that getting spiked like that with a poisoned rana wouldn't suck and the rookie was finding that out first hand leaving Adrian with a bit of time to really make this advantage count.

What she opted for wasn't the most obvious thing to do in this scenario (pick up the green haired wrestler and do something big) but was hopefully just as effective: reaching across Alizeh's back as she crawled over, Adrian rolled over top, hoping to bring Alizeh over with her, rolling her up with a magistral cradle for a quick pin even if the official was taking her sweet time confirming that her shoulders were down on the canvas or not. Shoddy officiating, really.

Despite coming back at Adrian with some brutal and fast paced offense she had managed to come close, but not far enough to beat Adrian. Worse yet it allowed the veteran the opportunity to not only get back up, but fully into the mat, taking Alizeh head over heels and spiking her skull into the mat in a brutal impact! Stunned on her knees from the move Alizeh would manage to feel her arm being grabbed before taken for a ride and was rolled onto her shoulders for a pinfall attempt!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"Th-"

Before the count could be finished Alizeh would twist her hips while thrusting her legs out to the side, managing to just barely kick out in the knick of time!

"Come on, come on..." Adrian mumbled as she held on to the roll up as long as she could before Alizeh's jolt of movement made it futile to hang on. The rookie had kicked out, this match was still going and she was going to have to deal with this the hard way "Alright." the veteran sighed knowing that if she gave the ref any more shit for a slow count she ran the risk of getting a DQ for harrassing the official, the second most annoying way to be disqualified after getting DQ'd for kicking too much ass (also known as ignoring a rope break).

Slowly rising up off the ground, the brunette grabbed her green haired opponent so she could throw her head down between the former champ's legs, forcing her to stay doubled over while she hooked the arms up in preparation for a match ending Lag Spike, having determined that the reason the match was still going was because she hadn't dealt out enough neck trauma today, something she was about to resolve as she tried to lift the rookie upside down.
