Masane finds new competition!

Masane tried for a stiff palm as Kasumi jumped in, hoping to get a blow in. If she missed, however, she would end up going down in the tackle, and would bring both arms up, ready to defend herself against possible incoming blows.

The stiff palm stopped Kasumi in her tracks. It didn't hurt much when it hit, but it stopped all her momentum. Kasumi stood rather foolishly now, her guard completely broken, her opponent's hand on her chest. Now the situation was reversed; Masane had the advantage instead of Kasumi.

Masane grinned as her palm stunned her, and she tried to grab one of Kasumi's arms, and would turn her back into her and toss her over her back, and would strike at Kasumi's head as soon as her back hit the mat!

Kasumi found herself flying through the air as Masane tossed her over her shoulder. She landed with a thud, letting out a cry of pain that was quickly silenced by Masane's strike at the back of her head. Tomomi's eyes glazed over for a second as the blow stunned her enough to nearly knock her out. She blinked hard, shaking her painful head to clear the cobwebs.

Masane was gasping for air now, and flopped to her butt after throwing Kasumi over her, trying to catch her breath. "Wh.. want to end it there, Kasumi?" She asked her.

Kasumi lay on the mat, gathering her wind and her strength, trying to clear her head. She heard Masane offer to end it, but she wasn't willing to just be done. Kasumi pushed herself up to a painful sitting position, one hand on her forehead, trying to block out the pain. Slowly she began to get up.

"Hah... Are you looking... down on me?" Kasumi asked, panting raggedly, "I'm not... done yet! This'll end... when one of us... has to carry away... the other!" She settled into a fighting stance again, though it was obvious that her small body had taken punishment beyond what it should take. But still, Kasumi was determined. She fought for honor, and decided that if she must be defeated, she would go down honorably.

Masane smiles a little. "Kasumi, I'm not looking down on you, but this wasn't supposed to be a full blown match.. just a sparring thing." She said as Kasumi started to climb up to her feet. "Your determination is really admirable though.." She added. "You're very, very skilled."

"Thanks for the compliments," Kasumi said, "But still, I'm not done. We might've displayed our skills to each other, but we haven't decided who is better. Get up Masane! Let this be the last attack." She gathered her remaining energy, and began advancing slowly upon Masane. Kasumi knew that she had only one shot left. It was make or break at this point, and she knew she didn't have much of a chance to make it. She would wait for Masane to get up, then prepare for the final move.

Masane looked up at her, and smiled a little. "Why don't we save the last attack for when we're out in the main ring?" She suggested. She had to admire the kawaii's energy, but she didn't think she had enough in her for a last attack. "Or I could concede the fight to you..." SHe offered.

"Masane-san..." Kasumi said. She sighed and shook her head. "I won't fight an opponent who won't fight back," she said, "You haven't lost this spar, I have." She let her arms drop, letting out a deep breath. Her small body seemed to visibly sag, as it it was too worn out by this match. She walked over to Masane, extending a hand. "It was good training with you Masane," she said, her smile brightening her entire face.
