Masane finds new competition!

Masane huffs a little after she lays down on her back, and starts to sit up with a small smile. "Nice move, Kasumi." She complimented, and started to stand back up, panting a bit rapidly after taking those hits to the gut. "You've really trained a lot, I can tell."

Kasumi groaned a little as she struggled to get up. "That... really hurt," she said. She pushed herself up onto her feet. "Heh, Masane-san's last move was pretty impressive too," Kasumi said, "It's not something I expected." She got up, dusting off her clothes. Then, she quickly bounced a few timed on her feet, getting her body pumped, and was prepared to fight again.

"Alright, let's continue," Kasumi said, "We're not stopping until one of us goes down for good, right?"

"Welll... until one of us want to quit... I don't think either of us want to stop though, do we?" She asked with a playful grin, working back to her feet. "I think you got a point or two on me though, so I guess you're winning for now." She stated, before shifting back into her stance.

Kasumi smiled. "Well, if we're counting points, then I guess I'm winning," she said, "Though if we're going by who decides to quit first, I'm a bit closer than you are. That last kick really hurt." She rubbed her gut again, where Masane kicked her. "Let's continue, I'm not done yet!"

Kasumi moved forward slowly. She was wary of Masane, since she knew that Masane could hit her really hard, and she wasn't going to be able to take many of those hits. She took a deep breath, and moved within Masane's range. She hoped to draw Masane out into attacking, which would provide her with the opening she needed.

"That's what I like to hear" She replied with a smile, and moved in carefully. She couldn't let Kasumi get inside her guard or unbalance her like that again. She was wary of any fakes or feints, slowly circling her, then faked a jump forward towards her, just to test her reactions.

Kasumi very nearly stepped backwards when Masane jumped at her, but then noticed that Masane wasn't attacking. She held her ground, refusing to give any opening. It was a feint, she knew. Kasumi began initiating her attack as well. She stepped off a little to the side, seemingly providing a blind spot for Masane to strike at, making it look like the feint worked. But it was a ruse.

Masane saw Kasumi stepping to the side, and turned with her, not striking yet. Something wasn't right. She instead stepped towards her one step, arms still out, ready to block any strikes that might come her way. Masane was being extra careful now.

Kasumi couldn't draw Masane out into attacking. She was rather impressed by this, since any lesser person would've jumped at the "opening". Masane seemed to be far more experienced than that though. So Kasumi decided on a different path of attack. As Masane stepped inward, Kasumi fell back, her front foot shooting upwards to kick at Masane's hands and break her defense.

If it was earlier in the fight, she might've gone for the blow, but she was getting a feeling for just how tricky this girl was. As she stepped in, her hands were kicked away.. at least one of them was, she missed her other hand, and Kasumi could take a gamble of going in for an attack or backing away and letting Masane recover her guard.

Kasumi leapt in to continue the attack. She broke Masane's defense, so she had a chance. Kasumi would get in as close as she could within Masane's defense, hopefully where Masane would have difficulty striking her, and tackle Masane in the gut.
