Scouting Out Competition

Peggy McIntyre had a hell of a week. She had an intense match against Sakura Hagiwara, the annoyingly upbeat idol singer turned shockingly gritty and competent wrestler. One of her two mentors had to leave Japan to help her family, as did her first real boyfriend.

She knew her current trainer and mentor she looked up to was also down a tag partner with Julia's departure. Peggy was tempted to ask Alaina to be her partner but she also didn't want to ride coat-tails. She wanted to try to win a few tag matches with a random and show Alaina she was worthy to team with her. Sonic Boom may be over but... Irish Amazons? Peggy figured green leopard print or tiger print helped both women combine their attire...

Peggy stopped that train of thought as she didn't want to get a head of herself. Peggy began working on a punching bag when she saw a small team of what looked like to be high flyers working out in the ring....

Peggy was also not alone in noticing the highflyers. Former Wrestle Angel and former actress Suzumi Ishikawa, current wrestling veteran and aubmission specialist, also took note of the team working hard in the ring. She thought they were adorable kids trying to wrestle given their very small stature. Suzumi grinned and approached the ring with a slightly air headed smile and bounce to her step.

Suzumi clapped loud and whistled to the team. "Woooooo! You two are totally killing it!
Like, when ya get old enough to wrestle your skills will be really polished when ya enter the ring for real!" Suzumi said, offering what was a genuine compliment to what she thought were teenagers not yet on the roster. She had no clue how condescending her words were to a team of small bit capable women actually a part of the roster!

Ginely and Chesslara were use to some of the more older wrestlers teasing them about their size which they decided to use one of their tag team moves to make Suzumi rethink her comment. They would set up the dummy that they were using to absorb all their hits which Ginely using the ropes to hit the dummy with a missile dropkick with seconds later Chesslara nailing it with a drop kick of her own sending it flying over the ropes from the other end of the ring landing near Suzumi. Chesslara will say " we may be small but you don't look like you even have a partner to even compete in the tag team circuit which takes a lot of trust between the partners to not end up making themselves look like fools. While her sister was saying her mind Ginely in a fluid motion ran and slid out of the ring then lifting the pretty heavy dummy back into the ring then slides back into the ring to resume working with her sister doing their near collision style of tag moves sending the dummy all over the ring till their time is up.

Suzumi watched and smiled, clapping as they continued their impressive work. However after one of the ladies spoke Suzumi realized she may have somehow offended them. "Oh no! You two totally look like an awesome team, I just thought you looked,one, really young!" Suzumi said apologetically.

A few feet away, Peggy walked up looking up at the tag team woth a raised eyebrow. She was a much more talkative person than Suzumi, and quite a bit more on the cocky side. "Ya must think highly o' yourselves. Ya just talked down to a Wrestle Angels veteran whose made a name for herself in Friction.
I bet if she had a competent partner her team wpuld wipe the floor with ye." Peggy said woth a mischivious grin, and hands on her hips. She noted the skill of the team in the ring, but she also knew a chance to get herself tag team experience when she saw it!

They both stop and Ginely will beat her sister say " we didn't really hear too much about that federation growing up the two of us started in small show that we mostly did gymnastic like moves more for the flare than to actually wrestle." She will add " things changed and we got became a quick fill for a absent tag team which revealed we were actually decent even though we lost that match." Chesslara will then finish with " our coach helped set us up for tickets to Japan after a scout apparently was impressed with us." They both will start to say at the same time then Ginely will bump her sister to get the floor" I am sorry that we weren't aware you both were from that league" even though Ginely has no clue she is wrong about Peggy being part of Wrestle Angles. When their time is up they will slide out of the ring and towel off and drink from their bottles almost purely at the same time.

"Oh? That is one hell of a way to get to AFW!" Suzumi said before looking over at Peggy. "Like, I am the only Wrestle Angel here.
Peggy is sorta new and I know she has worked with a former entropy champion." Suzumi said with a nod to Peggy.

To the 20 year old Peggy, she was happy that Suzumi at least had heard of her. However the tag team had no idea who she was! In a way things rubbed her the wrong way, she tried her best to be known and get her name out there. "What would you two say then to a tag match? We can all get a chance to show off what we are all capable of."

Ginely will walk up followed by Chesslara and say " sure if you know where an open ring is that practice ring is booked tight we barely got the short time we had before the next people got their turn." When they approached the sisters were really hard to tell apart except for a moon patch on different parts of their workout cloths. Chesslara wll also say " lets have fun when we have our match without the worrying about disqualification due to one of us breaking rules too much."

Suzumi nodded and smiled. A match would be good for her, she needed to get back in the ring. "Like I can pull some strings and get us a match at a show. We will totally do our best!" she said happily.

Peggy crossed her arms and grinned. "It'll be a pleasure kickin' your asses in the ring kids." She said confidently, believing what she said.

Ginely will reply to her" that would be great my sister and I will try to wow the crowd while making the match as challenging as possible for you for both of our teams enjoyment." Ginely will finish with before her sister can reply to Peggy " I am Ginely and my sister is Chesslara who probably has something say that I will regret silencing her for." Chesslara will then look at Peggy and say" hope you don't break a hip or strain something important that you hold your partner back grandma." When Ginely hears her sisters words she just face palms then starts to pull her sister toward the showers to attempt to prevent some bad blood from forming between their opponents.

Peggy wasn't really mad, more confused than anything at the trash talk sent her way. "I'm 20....
But, okay sure. Grandma. Got it." Peggy said aloud still confused by the quasi-insult.

Suzumi found it endearing and funny, chuckling a bit as the two sisters left the ring and made their way to the locker room. She glanced over at Peggy and shrugged. "Like, we totally have to work out how well our styles mesh. As cute as they were I make it a point to win all my matches." Suzumi said as Peggy nodded to her in agreement.

The sisters stay in the locker room showering then walk off chatting about various things then if they see their future opponents they wave to them on their way out with Ginely running to say to them" we are the Emerald Moons" so Suzumi will know who to put on the event card. The pair then heads off to handle any other business they have while they wait for the call for their match with the a possible new tag team.
