Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
...you know. It's a good thing D.B. wasn't the type to become overtly self-conscious about sly comments that could be very easily misinterpreted in different tones of voices. Was it really that beyond the spectrum of believability that D.B. had someone special waiting for her back home, or in this instance, backstage?...alright maybe it was. But coincidentally enough, Blossom had indeed been recently suggesting that the two of them start making mutual workplace friends. Start being seen together more often...D.B. huffed out an exhalation through sputtering lips. Noticing the opportunity and...doing something she'd never be doing if it wasn't for Blossom.
"...*sigh*...yeah, I do. Good job not acting surprised, by the way." D.B. muttered out bitterly while still soothing her aching back and still too fatigued by that submission to do much of anything else as the referee started counting up to "Three!...Four!...". That Indian Deathlock really did a number on her. She'd remain motionless aside from the swelled heaving of her chest...but for some reason was in no rush to stand back up. "Lilac Gooseberry, btw. S'the name of the conditioner I think. S'her favorite." These would be D.B.'s parting words before abruptly rolling underneath the bottom ropes to a springing pep in her step after standing up. The sly rabbit rotating her arm while walking away from Valley after having spent the last eight seconds resting up before interrupting the count with almost zero effort on her part...

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
So, okay, in retrospect, it was a wee bit bitchy to just be surprised that Death Bunny could have a significant other. After all, she’d just met the woman, and while her exploits in the ring were a thing of legend, she had no idea what her personal life was like. She was certainly an attractive woman. Shapely, well-endowed, a body that would’ve served her well in the hentai division if she’d ever taken that route. It wasn’t all that farfetched.
”Huh. Gooseberries. You don’t say.” Valley looked on with her head tilted, watching as Death Bunny took a powder. She was getting close to the final count, too, and didn’t seem to be making much effort to be getting up. Unless…
Yup, she just rolled out of the ring to her feet. Figured.
Valley groaned, but tried not to let herself get too aggravated. She was finally making some ground. That was a good thing. And as tempting as it was to just fly out of the ring, she had a good thing going with this slower, more methodical strategy. She had to keep pressing it.
Grabbing the ropes, Valley pulled back, looking like she was about to launch herself out of the ring onto Death Bunny. Instead of that, however, she hopped up, slid through the middle and top with legs opened, and tried to snag Death Bunny’s head between her legs before she could get away, hoping to catch her in a tight scissorhold. She even held onto the ropes after, hoping to secure them for some added leverage.

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
Aside from having an inherent expertise at knowing how to multiply and overall fluffability, rabbits were known to be somewhat cunning creatures when they needed to be. Bunny having planned out all this time how she intended to beat the ten count ever since being released from the submission, and purposefully used those eight seconds to recuperate as best she could before rolling under the bottom rope to a spry hop on her feet. And yeah, she might have been going along with that conversation so as no to arouse any suspicion from Valley while attempting to engage in water-cooler talk with co-workers. There. Now Blossom couldn't say she never tries to make friends in the workplace...she wasn't lying though. That was legit the name of Blossom's favorite conditioner.
*...Nngh...all that awkward conversation was almost as painful as getting my head cranked backwards...* D.B. rotated her neck in circles while squinting whenever she felt pinged spikes in her neck, waltzing around the ring until she'd come between the announcer's tables and the ring itself. Unaware as to how Valley was going to respond to her subterfuge until she got the answer after turning her to acknowledge what sounded like footsteps, and was greeted with nothing but the sight of her hot-pink clad crotch muffed against her face and a pair of tanned thighs snapped onto her head. Death being initially tugged towards the ring in a huff with her hands latched on to Valley's legs...before they'd claw down with D.B. using that renewed strength to start tugging back...and back...until she'd yank Valley off of the ropes and into a textbook powerbomb position. But what wouldn't be textbook is D.B. grabbing onto Valley's bottoms, walking towards the timekeeper's area, before outright running there and launching Valley right into the poor guys lap.

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
Valley’s mom often chided her for jumping out of rings when she was just starting out, saying it was a silly thing for a wrestler to do unless the canvas was on fire or something. She’d always dismissed it as her mother being old-fashioned and not taken it as serious advice, but now, in this moment, she could see some of the wisdom. This had not been her best idea.
Valley tried to grip the ropes tight as she was pulled on Death Bunny’s shoulder in a vain attempt to get free, but she was only able to keep that up for a moment - against someone with this much strength, it was never a contest she’d win. Yanked off with ease, she looked about, frantic, and got a good idea of where she’d be going next. ”Out of the way! Everyone behind me, move!”
It was a nice attempt at a warning, but it ultimately did little good. Valley was flung through the air like a beach ball and came crashing into the timekeeper’s area...and, unfortunately, the timekeeper.
Amidst a pile of papers, water bottles, and a couple of laptops, Valley rolled out a moment later, rubbing her aching back. She spared a look towards the disheveled woman she’d landed on, who didn’t look any better. ”Sorry.” She grumbled as she rolled over again and nursed her aching back. ”Are you okay over there?”
”My everything hurts.”
”Yeah, I know the feeling.”

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
Death figured that this should dispense any notion between the two of them that she was beginning to become congenial besties with the high-flying veteran after they took some time out to gossip and shoot the breeze about their hairstyle choices like vapid teenagers. Stunned onlookers anticipating what was coming but still looked on with horrified dread once the Mad Hopper started barreling towards one particular corner besides the announcer's desk. Where the slack-jawed timekeeper had always thought themselves safe and secure from the carnage unfolding around them. Until it started coming sprinting at her with scant few seconds to-!!!
*BOOM*
Fluttering papers and what looked like the little hammer used to ring the bell went flying into the air to the stupefied awe from not only the collision, but how much hang-time Valley had in mid-air there. Death pressing her palm atop the commentary table with those commentator's standing up and bellowing out their amazement as D.B. took another moment's reprieve before straightening herself out. Rotating her neck with a grimace as the referee dashed right past her and started the countdown for Valley this time, but with Death taking a striding waltz in the opposite direction before turning about and honing her targeting reticles on Valley whenever she started defiantly rising. A checkered flag being waved in her mind for Death to start sprinting towards the Cali-girl with a Big Boot with Valley's name on it...

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
There were many advantages to Valley’s small stature - agility, speed, flexibility. Things that had served her well in many matches up to this point, which had allowed her to take down women who exceeded her size. It was her trademark, really, an indelible part of her style.
It also, unfortunately, made her very easy to throw.
Death Bunny had no troubles doing that, of course, launching her into the timekeeper’s area with ease and leaving her a wrecked mess. It wasn’t a good spot to be in, but even in her frazzled state, she knew her time there would be short. Death Bunny was coming and coming soon.
Thankfully, the Slamazon had a little surprise waiting for her. Grabbing a share, she pushed her back up, rising to her feet and keeping it low and out of sight. Sure enough Death Bunny was making a beeline for her, coming full speed with the intention of knocking her head off. She wouldn’t have the chance, however, as Valley Doll chucked the chair at her on approach, cutting her off.

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
Whether it was police raids breaking up underground fighting tournaments she just so happened to be observing from the shadows, or racing car wipeouts happening right behind her at midnight street rallies, chaos and/or pandemonium tended to follow Death wherever her bunny-eared aura roamed. The Grim One certainly not adhering to the saying about rabbit's, and in particular their feet, bringing good fortune to those around her. Although in most instances, the havoc surrounding D.B. was in fact of her own malicious doing...and was currently why there was an uproar of startled audience members attempting to spot Valley amongst the disaster area that used to the the timekeeper's box.
Death resuming her fatigued stroll before being so rudely interrupted by Valley thinking it wise to pounce upon an adversary who’s notorious for giving zero fucks when it came to where and and how hard she hurled people. She'd just gotten all the cricks out of her neck from that earlier submission before spinning about and taking a leisurely stroll back towards Valley, which eventually became a rampaging sprint before Death was offered a seat in the most painful way possible. The hurled piece of office furniture leveling Death back down to the floor in a spread-eagled daze with no particular inclination to be shuffling back up at the moment after the audience popping clobber.

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
”Huh. Bullseye.”
Valley had hoped to catch Death Bunny off guard with the chair, with few things being more distracting in a wrestling match than a projectile. She hadn’t expected it to know her foe down so effectively, planting her flat on the ground, but hey, it worked. She wasn’t going to complain about results.
It did bring on the question of how she was to proceed, though. There was no way that such a thing would keep a juggernaut like Death Bunny down for any real length of time, definitely not the ten seconds she needed. Valley needed to follow up with something fast, strike while the iron was hot.
She took a moment to analyze the situation, take Death Bunny’s position into account, factor in this and that and that and this, and then it all came to her. ”Screw it.”
Valley hopped out of the timekeeper’s area and scrambled on top of the announcer’s desk, knocking papers and laptops and water bottles aside as she went. She stood up, looming large over her fallen foe, spent a hot second on gauging the distance, then leaped off the desk as she flipped backwards, coming down on her foe’s prone body with a Shooting Star Press.

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
Even with her thought processes a darkened and jumbled blur, Death vaguely surmised that what just happened was the wrestling equivalent of tossing everything including the kitchen sink. Which would have admittedly hurt exponentially moreso, but now there was little doubt in anyone's mind as to whether Valley was beginning to feel desperate when it came to finding a way of stopping the Dead Woman. A task she'd seemingly succeeded at, although at the expense of the timekeeper's office chair and the last shred of subtlety she had. Death's fulsome chest heaving rhythmically, arms splayed at her sides and seemingly dead to the world...
...until in one ghastly moment straight out of a crypt-keeper's tale, Death would arise up to a seated position. Undead eyes wide awake with otherworldly vengeance emblazoned within them as she'd rise from her slumber and approach Valley just as she was still scanning the surrounding audience around them. Distracting her long enough to not notice the ominous threat stepping up onto the announcer's table as well. Valley's attention being brought upon a seemingly splayed out opponent, would instead be replaced with a foreboding Avatar of Death rising in front of her. Breathing through her flared nostrils before clamping onto the side of Valley's head and ramming their craniums together in a brutal headbutt.

Re: AV 19 Valley Doll vs. Death Bunny
Valley should’ve listened to the crowd more. Should’ve kept her eyes up and out. Should’ve done a great many things that she neglected to do because she was just caught up in the moment and thinking that they were just cheering her on and getting ready for her big move, when in realityt hey were doing something more dire: warning her.
”Oh.” She figured out what the problem was when she looked down at her target and saw that it wasn’t there anymore. Showing a stealth and speed that would’ve made the likes of Michael Myers envious, her foe had made it on top of table and was staring her down. Uncomfortable close.
”Uh-”
Death Bunny shot her head forward and clocked her skull before Valley could react, hitting her with a rough headbutt. The blow left her reeling, dropping down to her knees in a stupified stupor.
