Peggy McIntyre vs. Cicilia De'Reignhardt Wrestler vs Boxer

Peggy had never faced a boxer before. As this was primarily a wrestling company she felt totally obligated to win. She checked over herself in the mirror, making sure her one piece green swimsuit, gold knee pads, gold elbowpads as well as her green/gold boots all fit just right. She was ready or so she thought.

As Peggy's music was announced she came out to the ramp. Before she used to get a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd but lately they have been turning into loud cheers increasingly frequently. While she didn't high five all the fans she could or flex at the bottom like her tag partner tended to do Peggy did high five a few and wave as she walked. Once she climbed up into the ring she strut around, striking an old pin-up girl pose before settling down in her corner to wait for her opponent.

How to handle a boxer.... now that Peggy was inside the ring this unanswered question just became much more of a pressing issue.

Another day, another fight. She had never heard of this woman before, but judging by her name, she already had some reservations. It wasn't like she couldn't respect someone with that name, but... the images that came with it were just... intense... T'was nothing good, that was certain. WELL! All things being even, if anyone knew the family she came from, she could understand if this woman didn't respect her either. Cicilia made her way out when it was time, stepping out from back stage as her theme, Last One Standing blasted out over the speakers... Let's hope she could live up to it in this match. She could already see her opponent in the ring and she had to admit... She didn't live up to the images floating through her head (thank god). She looked normal enough, tough, red-head... Fair enough. She wore what appeared to be a green swimsuit or leotard and little else, deserving of an eyeroll from the boxer as she made her way down the ramp. She always had a certain distaste for those that would use sex-appeal to get fans... With the way that suit fit her? It wasn't just because it was comfortable...

Cicilia would slip into the ring, rising to her feet with a soft sigh, blinking the judgement out of her sanguine eyes. She looked tough at least... Hopefully not a big pushover.

"Sup." She greeted quite... casually, cracking her knuckles as the ref announced the rules to the audience. "Hope we have a good match and all that."

Peggy smiled and raised an eyebrow when her opponent spoke. She seemed non-chalant as if Peggy were no threat. "The only thing up you will have to concern yourself with is my arm raised up in victory lass." Peggy said, giving Cicilia a nod. "Ya seem like the type who isn't for messin' around. Nor am I. You'll be getting my best and we'll have ourselves a match good n' proper."

Peggy heard the bell ring and circled about. If she was close enough to get punched, a trained boxer would strike and likely connect. Peggy opted to keep her at kicking distance, stepping in and swinging her leg to to try to catch Cicilia in the side with a swift kick!

"Don't get over-confident." Cicilia grunted, raising her hands in her right-handed orthodox stance. "It's the only advice I'm giving." And with that! The match began! Cicilia and Peggy wasted no time moving in close, the two of them taking a large step forwards, but their approaches to the battle were very different. Peggy's first move did very little to catch Cicilia off guard at this point, seeing as most of her opponents frequented a swift kick as their opening move. Earlier on in her carrier, she might've caught the boxer off guard but now? She was ready for it. Cicilia lowered an arm down by her side to deflect the blow, seeing as it was coming in too quick for her to step inside of it mid-swing, the leg SLAMMING into her lower arm as it rose to meet her shin, her lips curling into a snarl upon impact...

"People and their damned kicks..." Cicilia cursed as she shrugged off the blow with relative ease, though the spot where her arm took the hit certainly stung... Still, she wouldn't be that much of a juggernaut if she couldn't shrug off hits like that with relative ease. Halted for only a moment, she would close in, throwing a quick jab at the woman's gut before tossing a BRUTAL uppercut at her stomach! Should her second attack hit, Cicilia would follow it up with a brutal straight back at the jaw!

Cicilia's attacks usually came in 3's... T'was a powerful number and it's always worked for her.

Peggy's kcik was blocked and before she could get back to her feet or in any position to respond her body was getting rocked. The first hit stung, the second doubled her over and the third sent her head whipping back to the side, her body spinning with it as she fell down to the mat like dead weight, laying on her stomach as a hand came up to rub her jaw.

Peggy laid there and groaned, trying to crawl away as she worked her way up to her hands and knees. Peggy wanted to get back up, but she was still wobbly from the sudden hard strikes that had just sent her packing to the canvass. This was not at all the start she envisioned. As far as the wrestler vs. boxer match was concerned Peggy put on a poor showing for wrestlers at the onset.

With her three punches landed, she sent the irish woman spinning to the floor in a way that was nothing sort of satisfying! Oh, she loved it when they did that... Made her feel powerful. She had enough respect for this woman to not outright laugh in her face, swallowing it as it built in her throat. She couldn't stop a small smirk from flashing across her lips as she lifted her hands back into her boxing stance, deciding NOT to capitalize on the woman she just threw to the ground. Wouldn't feel right after taking pleasure in sending her their... More like adding insult to injury than pressing an advantage.

Peggy, rather pathetically, began to crawl away from her, rocked by the blows she suffered. It was a bad start indeed, but Cicilia would offer her a new one. It would be the only free-bee she got from the Juggernaut, but one she deserved. Her opponent may have been cocky, but she didn't look like a bad person... Ugh... Dammit... Now she was really starting to feel guilty for laughing at her... She was probably going to regret this, but she was going to offer her a hand... It was just too sad to see her crawling away like that...

Rolling her eyes and mentally preparing herself for potential betrayal, Cicilia walked on over to the stunned Irish-wrestler, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder, hopefully stopping her from crawling away any farther.

"Hey." Cicilia called out, standing at the woman's side and holding out her hand for her to take. "Need a hand up?" There was not a hint of irony in her voice, nor any barbs of spite. Just a flat question... Had meaning. If she took her hand, the juggernaut would grunt, pulling Peggy to her feet offering her a faint smile. She would offer her fist out to the girl for her to bump, a sign their fight would really get started from this moment on... That is, if she took her offer...

Peggy heard Cicilia coming and was readying a leg sweep, knowing that Cicilia was close. However Peggy was thrown off guard as she started her own rise... a hand up!?

Peggy was in shock. Was this a mind game? Did this woman really think so little of Peggy that she could dust her off and take it easy on her? Peggy in her youthful hot-headedness assumed that Cicilia was not taking her seriously at all. "I ain't no pushover." Peggy said flatly, rolling away from Cicilia, getting herself in a crouching position before bouncing up to her feet shaking her head."Not sure what you think you were tryin'. If you were trying to be nice, whatever. But if you are mockin' me you will regret it. Take me lightly again n' you will regret it." Peggy said as she set herself up, showing that she was ready to continue.

You try to be friendly with SOME people. WHY did trying to be nice meant that you weren't taking them seriously!? This wasn't WAR, where you're expected to hate eachother! Cicilia could be a damned rage machine sometimes but she could be nice too! This woman was making exceedingly hard to not revert back to her old, enraged persona. Scrambling away again and jumping to her feet, Peggy declared that she wasn't a pushover and that if she took her lightly, she would regret it! The German stared at her, dumbfounded for a second before her face hardened into a deep frown. Did she LOOK like she was trying to mock her stupid ass? She offered a hand to HELP her!

"If I wasn't taking you seriously, I wouldn't have been trying to help you up, you idiot." Cicilia growled, raising her arms back into her boxing stance. "Thought you'd be worth respecting. That's why I tried to help you up." She shook her head, flashing an enraged glare her way. WHO did she think she was, accusing the German tank that she would regret helping her up? Apparently hot shit because she said it twice! This was why she was never nice to people... They pull this kind of stupid crap.

"You want to be a complete waste of my good graces, fine. Whatever." Her fists tightened almost audibly as her gloves stretched to compensate. "Would just keep me from kicking your ass anyway." With that, Cicilia would charge in, going for... a stomp actually towards the woman's shin in an attempt to damage her leg and being her toppling down to one knee! If she succeeded, she would bring her arm up in a brutal uppercut to her chin as she came down, gravity adding in the already monstrous strength Cicilia already possessed! Her expression was as hard and searing as her fists when they flew, a deep inferno burning behind those eyes.

"Verdammte leute ... Idioten! Alle von ihnen..." She cursed under her breath. "Müde von ihrer Scheiße..."

There was a fire in this lady that Peggy liked and hated all at the same time. Sure, Peggy pissed her off. At least Peggy didn't feel like her opponent was gong soft on her or just acting like she can lower her guard against Peggy. Cecil came running in but Peggy was ready this time. As she came in Peggy went low and moved to the side, sending a low sweeping kick right at the back of Cicilia's knees as her other leg came sweeping at the front of her ankles! Peggy wanted to bring Cicilia down to the mat face-first with the drop toe hold and try to jump on her back, getting her arms wrapped around Cicilia's chin to try to accentuate her actions with a camel clutch! Peggy knew this wouldn't be easy to pull off but if she could it would show Cicilia that Peggy wasn't one to take lightly.

Damn people. And their Damn kicks. Don't people punch people anymore...? Cicilia's attempt at a kick, Peggy shifted to the side, trapping her ankles between her legs like some kind of trip-wire trap, sending Cicilia crashing to the mat! Unsurprisingly, her reflexes were sharp enough to make sure the boxer didn't just face-plant into the arena mat like a dim-wit, her arms shooting up to break the fall, impacting with them instead. She hissed in frustration, immediately attempting to rise, jerking her leg to pull it out of the irishwoman's grip.... but she found that there was nothing to resist... Peggy had released her grip on her for some reason. Cicilia glanced back, as she rose to her hands and knees, only for her opponent to throw herself on her back and send her crashing into the floor again! Before she could do anything this time, the woman hooked her hands under her chin and began to jerk her back in a surprisingly painful camel clutch, a real display of her abilities!

"RRRGh...." She gasped, her own hands clutching at the ones around her neck, jerking her back up in a VERY uncomfortable position... She had to admit... she had not expected this woman to be so strong... She didn't look the part, especially after that rather one-sided start. WELL one thing was for certain: Cicilia wasn't taking her lightly... not anymore. She was always cautious with her first hits, seeing how much punishment they could take... Now she knew she couldn't afford such a luxury with this opponent.

The German grabbed at Peggy's wrists, attempting to pry them loose with her pure strength! She needed to get out of this stupid lock before things got... unfortunate.
