Peggy McIntyre vs. Cicilia De'Reignhardt Wrestler vs Boxer

Shit. That didn't quite work out...

Peggy's attack was blocked and in return her face was being rocked! She groaned and back peddled trying to dodge or block the incoming flurry of punches! Some were countered but the ones that snuck through did a number on Peggy! A punch to the jaw hammered her lip and a bit of blood was visible where her lip dug in to her teeth. Peggy was in a bad spot and thankfully because of her ring awareness she knew she was being forced back into an even worse one!

The corner was the last place Peggy wanted to be. She tried to take a deep breath and cover up, but moved in to Cicilia, trying to make the most brief of contact and roll to her side to get around behind her foe! Peggy could only hope she didn't get decked too hard doing this, as she would try to get right behind Cicilia and grab her around the waist. From there if she was left alone for a brief moment Peggy would try to lift Cicilia up and bring her crashing to the mat with a German suplex!

Yes! Progress! Cicilia seemed to be getting the better of Peggy in this match, despite her superior speed and experience (most likely). Her strength and durability started to wear on her opponent, blood mixing in with the sprays of sweat that came with each landed punch. Her Wall of Punches was designed to make escaping difficult, her momentum making intercepting escapes from the side easy(er) and backpedaling purposeless with her constant pressure. The aim of the game was to force the opponent to run RIGHT into her and attempt to break it down where it was strongest...

However, there seemed to be some holes in this wall today. Cicilia blinked as Peggy ducked under one of her straights, slipping behind her with incredible speed! Even after taking all those hits, the irish whip was still lucid enough to make such a dodge? How tough was she...? Well Cicilia wouldn't get an answer to that question, instead having a different one answered: How STRONG was she?"

Cicilia cried out in protest as the irish-woman wrapped her arms around her, the german trying to stomp and squat low, making it harder for the woman to lift her... Try was the operative word. Peggy was strong... Comparable to Cicilia in many ways and strength was probably the closest of them. She lifted the German up with ease, bending back and throwing the Juggernaut into a German suplex!.... How appropriate.

"AAH!" She groaned, her eyes shooting open due to the force of impact.

Very strong Was the answer to her question.

Peggy did not keep Cicilia in a pin but still held her waist. Peggy took a deep breath and grinned trying to roll right over Cicilia and return them both to a standing position, Peggy behind her still holding her waist. If one was good, two were surely better correct?

Peggy let out a loud scream as she lift again, putting everything she had into delivering a second forceful German suplex to her foe! Peggy would keep her back arched and maintain the bridge to pin Cicilia if this second German duplex also connected! She wanted to let Cicilia know that Peggy had a lot of ways she could take the fight to Cicilia. She was not a one dimensional wrestler by any means. She could go on and say all that but she figured showing was far better than telling, especially if showing meant that she was inflicting pain on Cicilia as well as working her way towards taking momentum!

Ready to struggle free, Cicilia fully expected the Irish woman to keep her there as a pin but NOPE she was far more crafty than that. Hell, she was STRONGER than that! There was really nothing the inexperienced wrestler could to against Peggy's roll, forcing them back into a standing position! Somewhat drowsy after that last suplex, Cicilia was unable to help herself as she was slammed YET AGAIN into the mat in what had to be the coolest double-suplex she's ever seen from this angle. Just because she admired it didn't mean she didn't feel it any less, however, letting out an angonized grunt upon impact with the mat!

This time, she went for a pin and rightly so this time! The Juggernaut was vulnerable! The Ref ran right over to them, dropping down to the mat beside them to make sure everything was down before slamming her hand on the mat.

"1!"

Cicilia shoved up and to the side with her torso, attempting to shove the woman right off her and break the pin!

"Ugh..." She grunted weakly, desperately trying to blink the vertigo out of her eyes. "D-didn't she that coming.... at all..." Her head felt so heavy... her muscles tight in pain... Peggy had regained the advantage!

Peghy fell onto her back as Cicilia kicked out, leaving Peggy in shock as Cicilia again proved her toughness. She rose to her feet gasping for breath as she looked down at Cicilia.

Peggy tried to keep Cicilia down. The less time that woman spent on her feet the better. Peggy bolted towards a corner springing up as she jumped from the mat up on top of a turnbuckle, facing away from Cicilia. Smiling to the crowd Peggy sprang back, trying to soar through the air before flipping over as she ai.ed a top.rope moonsault right down at Cecilia's mod section!

Cicilia groaned as Peggy got off her, running to the corner. Double-suplex.... woooooo... That was fun.... Her neck and spine weren't doing so good after those vicious back-to-back attacks, that was for certain... She was having some trouble getting up on her own, her body not responding to her commands as fast as she would like... Stupid throws and their stupid difficult counters... She muttered obseneties in her native tongue as she slowly rose her back up a bit, using her forearms as supports... Only to see Peggy standing atop the highest turnbuckle, looking back with intent as if her target was being locked in!

Oh... No...

Yup, Peggy sprung back, flipping feet-over-head as her torso came down, SLAMMING into Cicilia's gut and crushing the air out of her lungs with the full force of her body-weight! Cicilia's eyes widened, as she let out a loud gasp, her body falling limp under her opponents, completely stunned by the amount of force behind her attack...

Ugh... She was really starting to hate wrestling...

Peggy stayed atop Cicilia again and hooked a leg, going for a pin once more! If this didn't do it Peggy had a few ideas in mind that would. If this wasn't going to put Cicilia away she would need more softening up of course, but a giant shot or two to the head would help a lot. Peggy hadn't landed much in the way of strikes but switching up mid-match to that may throw Cicilia off her game.

"ONE!"

Unless this did the trick. Peggy weight soaring down from the top coupled with gravity meant that Cicilia had just taken a big splash that surely did a number on her. Peggy really did hope it would be enough. The punches Cicilia could string together could very quickly bring Peggy down a few pegs. She was wary of those strikes, and hated admitting how quickly she could get pinned after absorbing them. It wouldn't take many more direct shots to her own head to knock her down.

"2!"

Cicilia groaned, frustrated with her own weakness. She could beat this woman! This... wasn't the end! Not yet! Just as the Ref's hand came down for the "3", the German kicked out of the hold, forcing her way free wit a loud grunt! Despite her breathlessness, the boxer used whatever strength she could muster to quickly roll to her feet and, if she managed to do so without much conflict, she would raise her arms back into her boxing stance, her eyes alight with anger fed into by her pain. Her lips curled into a vengeful snarl as she glared at the Irish-wrestler, making a silent vow to herself to pay her back twice over for the hits she's landed and the pain she's caused... The only question now was if she could get her hands around her throat...

"Alright... Enough of this." She declared with a heavy sigh, attempting to get her breathing under control. "You're not going to control this match, Peggy."

And with that... She'd wait for the wrestler to close the distance... Time to be more reactionary than aggressive, use that stupid defense she was known for. The German would solidify her stance, almost like she were a boulder in the ring, shifting only to face her opponent wherever she may attack.

Peggy let out a groan of disappointment and slapped the mat as she rolled away, rising up to her feet. She and Cicilia were both ready it seemed. A reset Cicilia was a dangerous one. Peggy had to be careful. She had expected Cicilia to rush in, but she did just the opposite. Peggy had to go to her.

Peggy moved in slowly, her hands up. Peggy knew striking was Cicilia's best strength, so Peggy had to get close enough to nullify that. She lunged, in, reaching out to try to wrap up Cicilia in a collar and elbow grapple to get in close! She could only hope she wasn't too open to Cicilia's offensive bursts in the process. Peggy would try to raise her legs up and land a few knee strikes to the abdomen to try to soften Cicilia up, but even Peggy wasn't sure how well her current approach would end up working!

As Peggy moved in, Cicilia was still suffering from a lack of breath, but she couldn't very well do anything about that now... Her opponent made a mistake in closing in slowly, however, giving the juggernaut enough time to guess what she was attempting and thinking of a way to counter. Grapples have been working for her so far... only stood to reason she'd keep using them. As Peggy reached out to grab at her, CIcilia would lash out with an uppercut to her stomach as punishment for that moonsault with the intent of doubling her over! She would then quickly follow up by stepping back and raising her knee to impact with Peggy's jaw as her body folded, intent on keeping her momentum alive! She couldn't allow herself to be grappled again... She MUST keep Peggy on her back foot!

Should her attacks succeed up until this point, she would rush up to the irish wrestler, throwing her boot into her stomach in a wild kick before grabbing her head under her arm and attempting a BRUTAL DDT! She had to stop her dead... make her second guess her life decisions with each and every one of her strikes... The best strategy to win, after all, was making your opponent forget why they wanted to fight you in the first place.
