Peggy McIntyre vs. Cicilia De'Reignhardt Wrestler vs Boxer

Peggy thought she could engage Cicilia quickly enough, but she was mistaken! The punch to the stomach hurt and made her double over. Worse still was the shot to the jaw, forcing Peggy to snap up a bit and hobble back on limp legs.

Making matters worse, Peggy was grabbed and had her head driven mercilessly to the canvass! Peggy groaned and flopped down, her body going limp as she hit the mat and was laid out by Cicilia.

Cicilia's attacks went off without a hitch! Her punches interrupted Peggy's attempts to grab at her and her DDT sent her SPRAWLING to the mat, seemingly laid out for good! She wasn't writhing around, moaning in pain or even grasping at her head. For the moment, she seemed knocked RIGHT out and that was a good thing.... For the Juggernaut at least. She could make EXTRA SURE she'd stay down... there was the off chance she would pull out of a pin...

But she didn't want to do any more damage than she had to. Peggy was a respectable fighter indeed... Worth not being enemies with at the end of this fight. With a sigh of relief, Cicilia would flop down on top of the Irish wrestler, climbing atop her and pinning her arms to the mat as the ref came over the count! T'was a good fight. Fun... painful, but fun. Maybe she had a training partner in her if she was willing... Would have to talk about that later... She made a note.

"1!"

"You can stop now." Cicilia offered to the no doubt busted-up Peggy, sweat running down her forehead and cheeks. "T'was a good fight, but if you can't continue, don't force it."

Peggy groaned as the boxer laid on top and the pin count began. She was motionless and listless as she laid there. Peggy showed no signs of life as the count continued.

"TWO!"

Peggy knew she had one shot at this, and one shot alone. She took a deep breath as the referee's hand went up. It was descending quickly and Peggy cried out bucking her hips up and thrusting a shoulder up to break the pin just before a there count came! She flopped back to the mat, panting and her hands cradling her head which was still pounding from that DDT. Her body was aching from Cicilia's strikes. Her head was still in a daze, making it hard for her to focus on anything at all. The match continued, but Peggy was still at a disadvantage.

Cicilia tsk'ed as Peggy pushed herself free of her pin just as the third hand came down to declare her victory! Defeat was fended off at the last minute! The German climbed off the Irish wrestler, her chest rising up and down in time with her heavy breathing as she glared down upon her felled, if stubborn opponent, her head starting to fog up with the heat of frustration. Why didn't she just give up...? A DDT from Cicilia and she still had the will and the strength to resist her immediately!? She would've been impressed if she wasn't so frustrated.

"Fine." The German growled, bending down to grab the stunned Peggy by her throat with one hand, attempting to drag her up into a standing position, get her ready for one of her most devastating attacks! If her attempts to pull her up went uninterrupted, Cicilia would grunt with effort as she attempted to lift the bigger woman up off her feet, suspending her in the air by her throat with only one hand!

With a mighty roar, she'd SLAM Peggy back down into the mat with her signature: The Dragon Slam Drop, a choke-slam practically guaranteed to send whoever was unfortunate enough to suffer it to dream land! That was it's little tag-line anyway...

Peggy knew she was in trouble as she was lift up, and the outstretched hand could only mean one thing: Peggy needed to escape!

Peggy wasn't at arms length but she was at legs length! Peggy screamed as she raised her leg up, trying to swing a hard kick at the unsuspecting jaw of Cicilia! Peggy would try to pry her free of Cicilia's grip as she swung a second kick into her abdomen!

Cicilia's eyes fluttered, dazed as Peggy's leg slammed RIGHT into her jaw, catching her completely by surprise. NEVER had she expected such a strong wrestler to be this flexible, able to raise her leg to kick her like this! Without much resistance, the German released her from her grasp, only to be thanked by a brutal kick to her side, her whole body tensing up in pain!

D-damn it...! Cicilia cursed in her head as her body scrambled to come back on line. Those two unexpected blows and thrown her RIGHT out of wack! Get yourself under control! You can't let her manipulate you! But the voice was quiet, subdued under the fuzziness of disorientation. Cicilia stumbled to the side with the force of the girl's torso-kick, her head still spinning from the one she delivered quite well to her skull. For all intents and purposes, she was open to Peggy's next move, be it big or small. Inexperience and constant guard-dropping had once again proven themselves the killing blow for the boxer...

That was if Peggy had any moves strong enough to capitalize on the juggernaut's moment of weakness.

Peggy heard Cicilia's groan, and saw her body language as she reacted to Peggy's strikes. Peggy knew it was time to do something and something big. She had a prime opportunity for a lovely suplex, one which she knew would surely leave a mark on Cicilia! Peggy ran in, bending down to pull on Cicilia's leg and hold it high, hugging it against her as Peggy wrapped her arms around the woman.

She had to act before Cicilia recovered, and with a loud groans he lift Cicilia up high, arching her back and spinning as she put everything she had into planting Cicilia agains the canvass with a t-bone suplex! Peggy knew that Cicilia was tough. She had to hammer her and keep taking the fight to her in order to keep her down, maintaining control. She could only imagine what it would take for her to rock Cicilia enough for a 3 count....

And there it went, the seal on the deal that was the outcome of this match. If there wasn't a 3 count or if it was extended to ten, the German would've been able to get up in time, no problem but for what the match was, CIcilia was incapable of moving in time... That brutal T-bone suplex only reinforced the daze Peggy had inflicted upon her to the Nth degree, the German not even struggling until the VERY last minute!

"One! TWO!" The Ref counted, and with those words declared, Cicilia snapped back into focus, writhing desperately to be free of this pin.... But she had come to her senses too late...

"THREE!"

And like that, the match was over. Hard fought but her efforts were in vain... like most times it seemed. if she was released from the pin, Cicilia would roll over so that she was face-down on the mat, slamming her fist into it in frustration as she rose to her hands and knees. SHE LOST AGAIN!? This was getting ridiculous... Her win-loss record must look like swiss-cheese right now...! She took her time getting to her feet, careful as to not agitate her already mind-warping drowsiness. Wow... she REALLY wanted to tell off Peggy right now, swear that she wouldn't let this match stand... She opened her mouth to do just that....

"So... good match I guess..." Came out instead, the boxer reigning herself in before she said something nasty. This was one of those times where she had to tug on her mental leash like she was trying to HANG herself with it to keep such things from coming out. She was SO CLOSE! Just another seconds and Peggy would've been OUT! If only she kept her damned GUARD UP! But she didn't... and for that amateur mistake, she lost. And she deserved it. She knew that... that's why Peggy didn't deserve her wrath.

"It was... fun."

When the e count came Peggy couldn't believe it. Cicilia was tough, but she Peggy's experience was the key. Without it Cicilia would have pounced her into the mat for a quick win over Peggy.

"You Are one tough broad, n' I respect that. If you gained more grappling technique coupled with your strikes you'd be even tougher in the ropes lass." Peggy said as she nodded to Cicilia when both women were back on their feet.

Cicilia raised an eyebrow as she was referred to as a "broad", not sure how to take that description. It wasn't the most flattering word she'd use to describe herself but judging by her tone, Peggy didn't mean it as an insult. Yeah, her grappling skills were about on par with her skills at playing your instrument of choice... which was to say non-existent. She really needed to work on that... They both knew that. The German wasn't the kind to ask for help, not when she wasn't desperate for it but this string of losses was really starting to wear on her confidence... She needed some kind of win to build her back up... And for that, she needed grappling training.

"You're not too bad yourself." Cicilia nodded with a faint smile as Peggy acknowledged her toughness. "Strong, fast, tough and a good grappler to boot. It's almost like you carry every attribute." She held out her fist for Peggy to knock, a sign of respect between boxers. It was her way of showing how much esteem she held for the irish woman without stating it verbally. "Maybe we can fight again sometime. At the gym maybe. I could learn a thing or two from someone like you."

A rare compliment indeed for the German to admit to someone that they were superior to her. It would've been idiotic to deny it, even if it were a stab at her pride. Peggy had her under her complete control during the grappling segments of the fight and while Cicilia out-muscled and out-struck her more consistently, her ability to completely outmaneuver her and trap her gave Peggy the leg-up she needed to seal her victory. Cicilia NEEDED that kind of ace-in-the-hole, that "boost to her stats" as it were. That was for later though. For right now, the german shook the dizziness out of her skull and watched with a smile as the Ref raised Peggy's arm in victory. Well deserved indeed. Once Peggy began to slip out of the ring, Cicilia would follow, her friendliness streak on a roll... Something about this woman *clicked* with her... Perhaps personality. Definitely her resolve and power.

"Hey. Feeling thirsty or something? I'm gonna grab a coffee if you want to come with."
