Nanami Tomonari vs. Makoto Sane - Heaven to Underworld

Finally, a match. Nanami was actually looking forward for this one ever since her discharge from the hospital. She had suffered a back injury from her match against Jessica Wright, and she had to be shelved for at least five months. She was worried that the injury might end up becoming a career-ending one, but thankfully, she managed to fully recover. Still, that match had left quite a bitter memory for the former sukeban, and she was looking to redeem herself in the eyes of the people by trying to win this match.

When her entrance music was played, Nanami stepped out into the stage, and her appearance was greeted by a lukewarm reaction from the crowd. It was expected, considering that ever since her debut, she had lost in both of her matches, including the last one that ended with her being hospitalized. Still, Nanami didn't allow this to dispirit her as she walked down the ramp, heading over to the ring as she waved her hands to the crowd. There were some people cheering for her, but for the most part, the crowd seemed to be rather indifferent towards her. She would have to work hard to change that.

Nanami Tomonari:

Clad in her black one-piece, with a white hachimaki wrapped around her head and a little bit of face paint on her face, Nanami stepped into the ring, trying to rouse the crowd despite them being rather unenthusiastic about her. It was rather disheartening, but she would make sure to change their perception of her by winning this match tonight. Whoever she would be facing tonight, she would make sure to do her best and defeat her so that she could finally improve her standing in the league and redeem herself in the eyes of the crowd. But she knew it wouldn't be easy, but so was life.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come out?" Shuri would ask trying to sound less concerned than she really was. "I mean I'm perfectly fine with it. I just...don't want you to change your mind when I'm not around..." she would add before Makoto gave her a look with her eyes narrowed.

She was not fine with it. She was not ok with it and the woman knew it. Shuri desperately wanted to be at Makoto's side tonight but the woman wasn't budging. At all. Makoto thought that she should try to do this alone being as most of the army's activities involved either Himeko or a group effort. Tonight she wanted to prove the HWA could fight solo as well. Shuri, however, just wanted to be by her girlfriend's side. She wasn't worried about trouble or anything, but despite her tough girl act, she liked being with Makoto for the big moments.

"Lies." she would say before flicking Shuri's forehead. "You're super jealous cause I'm paying more attention to my opponent than you." Makoto would state to Shuri's horror.

"WHHHHAAA!? NO I'M NOT!" the woman yelled cheeks blushing.

"Yes. You. Are~" Makoto would respond playfully while pointing pointing from side to side and then at her girlfriend. It looked like she was trying to be cute, but it came out as monotone as anything else she usually said. To Shuri, however, it was cute. Which only made her blush more.

"Uuuggghh...ok just kick this girl's ass tonight ok?" she would say defeated by her lover's cuteness.

"Now you want me to kick her ass? So jealous." Makoto would say before pecking Shuri on the lips before heading out in her white one piece and boots. "But it's nice when you're like this." she would add before walking out of the room and heading to her match.

"...It's a match! Why wouldn't you kick her ass!" Shuri would shout back before plopping down on a bench and chuckling. "God I'm crazy about her..."

Makoto Sane:

Makoto would emerge from the entrance shortly to the sound Higher Power, which got the crowd cheering a good bit. It still seemed kind of calm for a packed arena, but she didn't pay it much thought. Makoto would jog down to the ring and give the fans a few high fives as she did so. Her breasts bouncing up and down much to the crowds delight.

As she reached it then, the young woman would slide underneath the bottom rope and pop back up and her feet. The woman she was facing appeared to be pretty cute, though her strengths were hard to determine. Makoto would then raise her fist in the air to play to the crowd, trying to get them a bit more hyped for the match.

Soon her music would fade, leaving only the voices of the fans to be heard. Then, turning back towards her opponent, the young woman would walk to the middle of the ring and quickly bow to her respectfully.

"Let us have a good match" Makoto would say before backing up a few steps. All that she needed now was for the bell to ring out, starting the match.

Nanami watched her opponent making her entrance, noting her shapely body and the color of her outfit. It seemed that both of them were wearing their attires of the opposite colors, with Nanami clad in black while Makoto in white. Also, the two of them were also wearing hachimaki, which Nanami thought to be a coincidence.

It was hard for Nanami to determine Makoto's strength by just looking, but she was sure that any of her questions regarding her opponent would be answered when the bell was rung. Leaving the corner and heading over to the middle of the ring, she gave Makoto a nod, acknowledging her. "Yes, let's..." she said simply, tightening the hachimaki around her head as she prepared herself for her clash with her white-clad opponent.

When the referee made sure that both women were ready for their match, she called for the bell, starting the match between Nanami and Makoto. Now that the match had started, Nanami would get into her position, dropping into a stance as she would hold out her arms and widen the gap between her legs, gauging her opponent. She would focus on Makoto's movement, waiting for her to make her move so that she could make hers as well. She was planning to ascertain her strength by trying to lock up with her, having a contest of strength with her.

Watching as Nanami tightened her hachimaki in front of her, Makoto would reflexively tighten her own. This woman seemed like an honorable fighter, and an intense one too judging from the look in her eyes. So the white-clad fighter couldn't help but feel her blood pumping through her veins as they stared each other down. She was excited, after all, but Makoto looked as calm as ever. So when the bell rang out, signaling the match to begin, Makoto would quickly try to lock up with her opponent.

Nanami didn't look like she was super strong, but looks could be deceiving. Regardless, Makoto would make a risk and attempt to charge the woman and get up close. She didn't want a lock up, though. Instead, when she closed in, Makoto would attempt to swing around her opponent and wrap her arms around Nanami's waist tightly.

Hopefully the woman would get caught off guard by the sudden movement. If so, Makoto would hold on tight as she formulated the next step to take against Namami.

Instead of locking up, Makoto suddenly swung around and wrapped her arms around Nanami's wrist, which caught her off-guard a little. Knowing any kind of things that Makoto could do in this position, Nanami would try to ensure that whatever she was planning, it could be thwarted as she would lower her body, dropping herself onto her knees, hopefully bringing Makoto with her, as her arms were still wrapped around her waist as she did so.

Hoping that Makoto still had her arms wrapped around her, Nanami would aim to deliver a few forearm strikes right at the side of her white-clad opponent's head, hoping to disorient her, thus giving her more advantage over the white-clad wrestler. Also, she was hoping that by doing this, whatever Makoto was planning next could be stopped.

While Nanami was recently discharged from the hospital, she was certain that she could take Makoto on, and she would work hard to emerge victorious in this match.

Makoto wanted to go for a take down now that she had Nanami locked in from behind, but a few strikes quickly disoriented the white clad fighter after the woman dropped to her knees. So instead of fighting through the pain, the young woman would release the hold, and try to shove her opponent forward from behind.

Hoping this would put some distance between them, Makoto would then back up and use the corner turnbuckles for support. With one arm to the side and hooked onto the top rope next to the turnbuckle, the woman would use her free hand to nurse her aching skull. The pain wasn't too bad, but it was somewhat uncomfortable to have at the moment.

She wouldn't need too long to recover, luckily. So hopefully Makoto could get back into the action in a short moment or two. She had a match to win, after all!

Makoto had released her hold right after being clobbered by Nanami in the head, and had retreated to the corner. Nanami was planning to keep up her momentum by looking at the direction of the white-clad wrestler. It looked like Makoto was going to recover a little after taking the strikes to her head.

"Here I go!!" Nanami yelled as she got back on her feet, charging towards Makoto, planning to ram her body into Makoto's, hoping to squash the other wrestler between her body and the turnbuckle, looking to weaken her with a corner splash. Hopefully, by using the weight of her body, she could drive the wind out of Makoto, thus weakening her even further so that her chance to win this match could increase, or so she hoped.

She did not factor the possibility of the white-clad wrestler to get out of her way before she could reach her, as she was too preoccupied with attacking her with the corner splash.

Makoto realized what her opponent was trying to do as she came charging forward. Nanami was clearly going for a splash, or a spear possibly, so the white clad fighter would quickly dive to the side as the woman closed in so she'd hit an empty corner. Plus this way Makoto could get behind her opponent, and wrap her arms around her foe's waist.

"Baannnzzaaaaiii!!!" Makoto would shout before attempting a quick german suplex! She rarely yelled, or even raised her voice. But Makoto often shouted loudly to throw off foes. Kind of like she was trying to shock them while immediately going for a move. She never yelled before the move, though. That would only notify her opponent of the attack. If successful, the young woman would go for a bridging pin with Nanami's shoulder pinned on the mat as her booty stuck upwards in the air and her legs spread wide!

Nanami's eyes widened when she saw Makoto moving out of her way, and she ended up colliding into the turnbuckle instead, hitting the turnbuckle chest first. "Hrgghh!!" She cried out through gritted teeth when she hit the turnbuckle, leaving her winded and exposed to any of Makoto's plans.

As she was still winded from her collision, she suddenly felt Makoto wrapping her arms around her waist before she was hoisted up and thrown over and back with a German suplex! "Gaahh!!" She cried out in pain when she landed harshly on the canvas from the suplex, her butt stuck upwards and her legs spread wide. She was left in a daze thanks to the suplex. And with her shoulders being pressed on the mat, and Makoto going for a bridging pin, the referee went over next to them and started counting.

"ONE!"

For a while, Nanami was too disoriented to immediately kick out. Only after hearing the referee's voice that she remembered that she was still in a match, and she mustered her strength to kick out right after the referee counted up to two.

"TWO!"

And she kicked out, stopping the count. She bucked her feet, trying to release herself from her upside-down position. It was a little embarrassing to in that position, and she needed to recover so that she could get back into the fight.

Makoto kept her opponent's upper back flat on the mat as she executed the bridging pin. The german suplex worked perfectly, stunning Nanami enough that the pin count would quickly reach two before the woman found her wits. She'd suddenly kick her legs and buck out from Makoto's grasp. This wasn't the worst thing in the world, though.

Makoto was starting out strong, after all, and that was all she could really ask for.

So as Nanami began to recover, the heavenly soldier would quickly try to help get her back on her feet. But as soon as she was up, Makoto would unleash a combo of strikes on her opponent's chest. First a chop, then an elbow strike, and then another chop to keep Nanami under control. Each strike would be executed with a short, but still loud, battle cry as they stung her opponent's chest. If successful, Makoto would hopefully be able to continue this striking pattern all the way to the opposite corner which she would be trying to trap Nanami in!
