Nanami Tomonari vs. Alaina Sanders

Finally, it's about time Nanami brought her career to a new height. After three years of wrestling in amateur and indie leagues, she finally found herself in a much grander stage of professional wrestling. She had been following AFW for years now, and when she was offered a contract to wrestle in this giant among giants of wrestling promotions, she wasted no time and agreed right away.

It had been a dream coming true, after all. Years ago, she was a foolish youth who did not know her place in this world, but now, under AFW, she would be taking her first step towards something greater, something that she never imagined would have happened to her.

"Yosh... it's about time..." Nanami muttered to herself as she waited in the gorilla position, holding a piece of cloth, which was a headband, or rather, hachimaki. Then, she put it on herself, tying it into a knot behind her head. She also had applied facepaint which resembled the kabuki paint. After making final adjustment to her black leotard, Nanami nodded to herself confidently before she heard her cue, which meant that it was her time to make her first appearance in AFW. "Alright, this is it..." she punched her palm before she stepped out, going to the stage as her song, Kioku, was played.

Nanami Tomonari:

Upon her appearance, she received a moderate pop from the crowd, due to them knowing her during her time in indies. Smiling, Nanami held up her clenched fists as she walked down the ramp, heading over to the ring. Soon, she would make a name for herself in AFW and stand among the legends. But first, she would be facing another giant in order to reach such height.

Alaina Sanders.

She had been following AFW for years now, and she recognized that name. Who didn't know the name of the famous 'Amazon'? While she did balk at the prospect of fighting such a high-profiled individual during her first match in AFW, she knew that it would make her name well-known if she managed to defeat her in her debut.

Once she reached the ring, she climbed up the apron before slipping into it. And then, she headed over to the corner to wait for her opponent to show up. She was shaking with excitement and she had to suppress her excitement by punching her palm several times as she waited for Alaina to make her appearance.

Alaina was in the locker room, looking herself over. Her one piece tiger print swimsuit was form fitting and just right on her. Boots laced up, kneepads were snug. Alaina was ready.

As her music played Alaina bounced out, high fiving fans as she made her way down the ring smiling the while way. Alaina climbed in the ring and struck a couple poses to show off her powerful, attractive figure. Alaina stood in the center of the ring looking over her opponent, extending her hand. "Heh, you look like ya got some size and are fit. Let's have a good match." Alaina said noting Nanami's size and potential strength. Alaina puffed up her chest to show off a bit more trying to subtly intimidate Nanami.

When Alaina finally showed up, Nanami tried her best to not freak out, considering that she was about to meet face to face with one of her favorite wrestlers. When the Amazon made her way into the ring, Nanami had to gulp, finding the woman's presence to be overwhelming. Back in the indie circuits, Nanami had fought various types of wrestlers, but she knew that Alaina was a different kind of wrestlers entirely. From the way she carried herself, Nanami could tell that this wouldn't be as easy as the ones that she had previously.

"A-ah, yes! Let's have a good match! Umm... I'm Nanami, and pleased to meet you!" Nanami said, trying to not sound nervous as she shook her idol's hand. She had to admit that from the way Alaina puffed up her chest, she was intimidated, but she tried to keep it to herself as she hardened her resolve and showed the other woman her best war face, which was decorated with face paint. And then, after a while, the referee would call for the bell, and Nanami would take a stance before moving in to grapple with the Amazon! "Hyaah!!" Nanami would yell out, trying to psyche herself up for this match.

Alaina smiled as Nanami introduced herself. The bell rang and Alaina saw Nanami rush in, complete with her war cry! The amazon was caught off guard at first as the grapple began moving back a couple steps as she tensed up, trying to halt Nanami's progress!

"Ngh....no way... yaaaaah!" Alaina roared back as she tried to force Nanami back with her in strength to press Nanami back into a corner or against the ropes! This task was easier said than done given Nanami's strength and intensity!

Nanami managed to push Alaina back with her strength, which meant that she was gaining an upper hand early in this match. Grinning, she would continue pushing her opponent, planning to let go of one of Alaina's hands so that she could hook an arm around the other woman's neck to trap her in a headlock, but before she could accomplish that, Alaina pushed back, and she was taken off-guard by it.

"Nngh... t-too strong..." Nanami grunted, feeling that the advantage she gained a while ago had lost, and slowly, she was pushed back towards the direction of the corner. "Hhnnngh... I-I won't lose!!" Nanami yelled before she tried to let go of one of Alaina's hands so that she could try grabbing Alaina by the back of her neck. If pushing her back didn't work, then she would simply try to apply her strength through different means.

Alaina moaned as her neck was grabbed on to by Nanami. Howling she let go of her opponent and bent down, grabbing Nanami between the legs with one arm, reaching around her shoulder with the other.

With a loud cry Alaina tried to scoop Nanami off her feet, spin around to face the center of the ring then slam her down!

Nanami could feel Alaina's hand going between her legs before she suddenly felt weightless for a moment. Then, she realized what had happened before she was slammed hard into the mat with a body slam, causing her to cry out in pain upon impact. "Auughh!!" Her back felt sore after the hard landing, and she arched up her body before rolling over to her side in order to nurse the pain on her back. "Nngh... d-damn it..."

Then, she would try to push herself up, going all four, but in doing so, she would leave herself vulnerable to anything Alaina had in store for her, and she needed to be fast or else she might receive more follow-up attacks from the Amazon! She certainly didn't want to be taken advantage of early in this match!

Alaina had Nanami in a compromised position, moving to the front of her opponent while rubbing her neck. Alaina wrapped an arm around Nanami's head and tightened the hold trying to get Nanami up, bent over but standing.

It was not Alaina's intention to keep Nanami up for long though. The amazon wanted to fall back and tey to spike Nanami's head off the mat with a DDT!

While Nanami was trying to recollect herself, she felt Alaina's arm wrapped around her head, and she was forced to get up by the other woman. "Uunngh... l-let go..." she tried to wiggle herself out of the hold, but she was still dazed and winded from the body slam earlier, and despite her best attempt, she was unable to stop the Amazon from driving her head into the mat with a DDT!

"Ngghhh!"

The DDT sure had taken quite a lot out of Nanami, her head throbbing after being driven into the mat. She couldn't help but moan painfully on the mat, the pain from getting her head slammed into the mat frazzled her mind to even think of doing anything significant to protect herself from anything that Alaina had planned for her.

Alaina was already thinking ahead, and as soon as Nanami hit the mat the amazon was pulling heraelf and her opponent up to her feet.  Alaina took hold of an arm and tried to whip Nanami to the ropes!

If Alaina successfully whipped Nanami to the ropes she herself would run the other way and bounce off the ropes attempting to keep into the air and crash into Nanami with a running cross body block!
