Nanami Tomonari vs. Makoto Sane - Heaven to Underworld

Makoto broke the pin right after one, which meant that Nanami's job wasn't done yet. She would step back, allowing her opponent to get herself back on her feet as she would prepare herself to launch herself towards her. Once Makoto was on her feet, she would charge towards her, looking to wrap her arms around her waist from the front as she would plant her feet on the canvas, clasping her hands together at Makoto's back as she would try to do a deadlift on the white-clad wrestler, displaying her sheer lifting strength to her opponent and the crowd.

Succeeding in that, Nanami planned to throw Makoto down back first into the mat with a side slam, hoping that she could stun her with it, thus giving her more opportunity to deal more damages on her later on.

Things looked bad for the young woman as Nanami approached her. But while Makoto may have been down, she was far from out! As Nanami grabbed her and deadlifted her up in the air in a uranage-like position, the rookie fighter would suddenly squirm in an attempt to get one arm around the woman's head. That way she could try to throw herself backwards with her opponent in a headlock, and drive her head to the mat with a hard DDT!

"HAAAAAAA!" Makoto roared as she attempted the counter. Nanami may have been the stronger woman, but that power could be used against her. Makoto had the skills to do just that as she tried to turn this match around!

Nanami was always a strong woman, as evidenced by her being able to lift up Makoto, who herself was pretty huge in terms of size. But, what she didn't expect was for Makoto to wrap her arm around her head, and as a result, when she brought Makoto down, she was brought down as well, and she ended up hitting the mat by the improvised DDT. "Gughh!!"

Letting go of Makoto's body, she brought her hands to her head, groaning in pain. Momentarily stunned, she would be unable to protect herself against whatever her opponent would throw at her next, putting her in a rather precarious position.

Makoto was glad to have reversed what would have been a very big hit for her. Now, with Nanami groaning on the mat, the warrior in white would take a few seconds to breathe and recover. She made sure to only take a few seconds, though, as her opponent was in a good position to be pinned.

So after pushing herself back up a bit and laying on the woman's chest, Makoto would hook one of the her legs and pull it back with all her strength. With Nanami pinned, the ref would slide down and start the count as quickly as she could. "ONE!" she'd shout as her hand went down to smack the mat. Meanwhile, backstage Shuri was jumping up and down hoping that this would be it. She really wanted to see Makoto get the win tonight!

Rattled from the DDT, Nanami was unable to do anything until she felt the weight of her opponent on top of her body, and she realized that Makoto was trying to pin her, going for the cover. She could feel her leg being hooked up before she heard the sound of the referee counting for the pinfall attempt. Knowing that she had to break out of this before it's too late, she would muster her effort to regain her bearing, and the referee continued counting as she did so.

"TWO!"

And with the final count coming, Nanami let out a loud battle cry as she would buck her legs, breaking the pin. The referee stopped the count and made a signal that the match was still going. Wincing, Nanami would try to push Makoto off of her so that she could recover from the headache that she got from the DDT earlier. She needed to get back into the fight as soon as possible if she ever wanted to win against her white-clad opponent.

"Urgh... n-not yet..." she grumbled as she would try to push Makoto off of her.

Makoto silently cursed in her head as her opponent kicked out and broke the pin. She had really hoped for the win, but there was still a lot of fight left in Nanami. So after she was shoved off by the woman, Makoto would start to get back up on her feet and charge at her opponent.

"Please...don't resist...I need to win." Makoto would say with very little emotion. The best submission user in the HWA wanted to impress Shuri so badly. She may have been a hot head, but she had become an important part of Makoto's life. The two had actually had rocky road at the start, after all, one was a bad tempered loud mouth, while the other was a cold and silent. Over the years, though, it was clear that opposites attract. Makoto had even stood by Shuri against Asuka during the groups big fall out.

The problem was Nanami's strength. She was probably stronger than the silent woman, but Makoto could still fight against stronger foes. So as the woman recovered, the white clad grappler would try to grab her opponent and pull her up. That way she could try to hook her arm around Nanami's shoulder and stretch the woman out with an octopus hold! It was a difficult hold to lock it, but it would be able to wear the woman down if preformed properly.

Shaking her head in order to get rid of the headache that she got from the DDT earlier, Nanami would try to get back up on her feet, groaning in pain. She needed to be careful around Makoto, or else she might not be so lucky next time. But, as she got herself back on her feet, she was grabbed by her opponent who then tried to put her in a submission hold. Grunting, Nanami would quickly try to slip out of the attempted lock up, looking to escape the hold before it's too late.

And right after that, if she was successful, she would clock Makoto's face with a forearm smash into the side of her chin. Hopefully, this would stun the other woman a little, giving Nanami a little room for recovery and to regain her thoughts. She needed to put her full focus in this match in order to fight back fully. Makoto seemed to be quite a formidable opponent, and she needed to go all out in order to seize a win over her.

Makoto was struggling to lock in the hold as Nanami resisted her. Which was the thing that she had just been told not to do!  So when Nanami was about to slip away, and knowing she couldn't stop this, Makoto would release her grip voluntarily. In doing so, the white clad warrior would try to raise her guard. However, before she was able to, Nanami struck her with a forearm strike right to her chin!

The blow caused her to stagger back a few steps in a daze until her back was against the ropes for support. Makoto would stay here as she recovered and watched for her opponent to attack. There was no point in recklessly running at a stronger opponent. So Makoto would wait to see what Nanami would do.

By hitting Makoto's chin with her forearm, Nanami managed to give herself enough room to recover, and she looked at her opponent, who went to the ropes. Regaining her bearing, Nanami would plan her next course of actions, breathing heavily as she tried to come up with her next move. Her hachimaki was already drenched in sweat, and she could feel her outfit sticking to her skin due to perspiration, which made quite an interesting effect on her appearance. But she paid it no attention as she would keep her eyes on her opponent.

So, as Makoto was at the ropes, Nanami would then launch herself towards her opponent, extending her arm as if trying to hit her with a lariat. From the look of it, she seemed to be looking to send Makoto over the top rope and out of the ring with the lariat. It would be a devastating attack even though it would be easy to telegraph.

But, as she got closer, Nanami would suddenly plant a foot on the mat as she would end up a few steps away from Makoto. Then, she would pivot, bringing her momentum into a rotation instead of going forward as she would try to nail a spinning kick right into the torso of the white-clad woman before her!

Makoto was ready for a lariat as Nanami came charging at her. It was an obivous move...too obvious now that she thought about it. However, the woman realized too late that her opponent was going for something else as she spun around suddenly. Makoto grunted out loudly as Nanami's boot plowed into her midsection. The woman had hit her with a spinning kick, one that left her falling down onto her hands an knees.

"GAAAAAAAAH!" the skilled submission user cried out before falling over. The woman was gasping now as she tried to recover. However, Makoto was not making much progress as the pain in her abs was not going away. This left the woman in a lot of trouble seeing as Nanami was still standing above her!
