Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll

Akiha had gotten the drop on Valley. She’d rocked her with that DDT, taken her by surprise, and she deserved to have her praises sung on that, even if she’d gotten to this point with slightly unscrupulous means. Valley was on her back now, and it had a lot to do with an impressive sequence.
”1…!”
That being said, it would be a cold day down below before she got pinned off a DDT, of all things. Even a flying one.
”2…!”
Valley kicked out the moment the referee’s hand hit a second time, not even entertaining the notion of a three count.

After hitting the flying DDT, Akiha would get on top of the champion and go for the pin. She would watch as the referee then slide beside the two of them and go for the count. Akiha would hear the one and then two count. But just as the referee got to the two count, her opponent would kick out instantly, showing that it wasn't a close count. Akiha would get on her knees and place her hands on her hips and exhale before taking a moment to think about what to do next.

Getting on her feet, Akiha would attempt to deliver a few kicks on-top of her opponent chest, trying to weaken her and take the oxygen out of her body. She had something planned to take out her opponent but she would need to set things up first.

For some reason, seeing Akiha get flustered, hearing that sigh of hers, made Valley feel just a bit better. It was nice to know that she wasn’t the only one getting a little frustrated, here.

Of course. Akiha was in a better position to vent her frustrations, and she did so in the form of nasty kicks, striking the Slamazon hard in her side. She groaned with each kick, feeling the pain worse with each passing second, until it finally made her roll over on her stomach. Desperate and growing more desperate by the second, Valley made a mad crawl for the ropes and tried to pull herself, hoping to rise before her foe could stop her.

Akiha would deliver several kicks, attempting to give herself some time to think of something new to do. Each shot gave her some time to recover a bit more, while also weakening her opponent a bit more. As she fired several kicks she saw Valley making her way towards the ropes. Akiha would just continue to hit her with a few more kicks before taking a few steps back, letting her get to the ropes.

Once Valley was at the ropes Akiha would start running forward, closing the gap between the two champions. When Valley Doll was within striking distance, the Japanese wrestler would jump in the air and send her two legs forward to what appeared to be a dropkick. Yet Akiha would not hit her opponent, instead, her legs went in between the ropes and she would hook her arms and then attempt to bring her legs back and try to hit Valley Doll with a 619.

Kicks, kicks, kicks, kicks. God, this was annoying. Was this the way people felt when Valley Doll kicked them so much? Not that she was going to stop doing that anytime soon, but it was weird to be on the receiving end for once.

Akiha was relentless with her assault, driving her hard to the ropes with each blow, until Valley had to hang on them for simple support. Only then did the attack stop, and she immediately knew why.

Valley was in the textbook position for the tiger feint kick, a move she often used herself, which meant she also knew how to counter it. She waited, bided her time until Akiha leaped through the ropes and committed to the move, and that was when she sprung into action.

Instead of taking the kick and flopping back, Valley moved to the side and shot her hands hard through the ropes, giving Akiha a strong shove in the chest as she came around. If the time was right, it would knock her off the ropes and send her tumbling to the apron, where a nasty - but funny - fall awaited her.

After getting several stomps attack and thinking her opponent was dazed enough, Akiha would start to make her way to the ropes before bouncing off them and coming towards Valley. She would then jump in the air and have her legs go through the ropes as she then hooked her arms on the ropes and would attempt to swing in and hit Valley.

But things did not go according to plan, it seemed the veteran wrestler had scouted out this move and as a result, Akiha would be pushed off, causing her to lose her balance and fall off the ropes. This would result in her tumbling on the apron from falling into the hard ground. “Gah!” moaned Akiha as she laid on the ground, hurt from the fall as the ground was barely padded. The referee would start a count out while the Japanese wrestler laid outside the ring.

Timing. It all came down to timing in matches like this.

Valley took her time and used the ropes to get back to her feet, sucking in deep breathes as she did. She needed as much energy as she could muster, she knew that, for what she was about to do next. She took slow steps to the center of the ring, then watched and waited while she bounced on her heels. Any second now…

The moment she saw that Akiha was making her way up on the outside she sprung into action. Instead of running to her, Valley dashed off to the side, heading straight towards the turnbuckle. She planted a foot on the bottom pad and used it to scale up the top quick, leaping high over the ropes and turning in midair so that her back faced Akiha below. From there, she came down with both feet on the turnbuckle, only to backflip straight of it and send herself hurtling towards her opponent, attempting to crash into her with a Golden Triangle Moonsault.

Akiha was outside the ring at the moment, her head feeling like it was spinning after the tumble she had taken from the failed tiger faint attack. Though it seemed she had a few seconds to recover, allowing her to get back on her hands and knees as she inhaled and exhaled. After another second or two she would then start to get to her feet and look into the ring. The Japanese wrestler would be confused for a bit as when she looked into the ring, she didn't see her opponent but heard the roar of the crowd. That is when she looked up and saw Valley coming down at her. The Crimson hair wrestler eyes would go wide at the sight before then being hit by the high flying attack of her opponent. The entire momentum of the attack sent her quickly down on the ground where she would be sandwich between her opponent and barely padded floor. Akiha would now gasp for air as her eyes were closed while she laid on the ground.

The greatest thing about this moonsault? It wasn’t the height that Valley got or the damage that she could do or the way the crowd went nuts as she flew. All that was great, of course, but what really did it for Valley was being able to see the look on Akiha’s face as she came down, down, down…

Splat.

It wasn't fun for Valley, either, as she went rolling right into the barricade after the crash, but it was clear that Akiha took the brunt of the damage, and she wasn’t letting that go to waste. She stood up, and after a hot second to fist bump to the grateful crowd, she dipped down, grabbed the rich girl by hair, hauled her up to her feet and sent her back into the ring under the bottom rope.

It was time to end this the right way.

Akiha had been splattered on the barely patted ground, with the only signs of life from her being her chest moving up and down as she inhaled and exhaled. The crimson hair wrestler would be unaware of what was happening, until she was grabbed by the hair, forcing her back onto her feet. She would then be thrown under the rope and into the ring. At this point she was far too exhausted to offer any resistance and was still reeling from the attack she had taken as she laid on her back, eyes still closed due to her still feeling the effects of the moonsault she had taken when she was outside the ring.
