Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll

Down Valley came with her flipping attack. It wasn’t exactly the nicest landing for her - she came down right on her butt, after all - but it was exponentially worse for Akiha, and that was the important thing. The ring shook as she slammed into it, and it left her rolling, awash with pain.

Enough for a pin? Maybe. One way to find out.

As Akiha rolled about, Valley draped over her, grabbed her leg, and pressed her shoulders to the mat, going for a pinfall. The referee dropped down and started up the count soon enough. ”1…!”

Being hit in the head like that had taken a lot out of Akiha. The match was not going to well for her but then she felt her opponent lie on top of her and grab her leg, going for a pin. Her head was still hurting but she was still awake. The referee would start the count getting the one. The crimson hair wrestler would stay down, for now, using the pin to her advantage.

“2...!”

Letting the referee get the two count, giving her some time to recover from the attack, a trick that she had learned from her tag team partner. When the referee raised her hand, Akiha would kick out, stopping the count at a solid two.

‘Pin early, pin oftens.’

Words her mother instilled in Valley from the first day of her career, words she liked to stick with. Akiha kicked out, as any wrestle worth half her salt would. The point wasn’t to score the win, but to keep her down, keep her guessing, make her expend energy to kick out. The momentum was still firmly on the Slamazon’s side, and she aimed to keep it there.

Looking to get things rolling at her own pace, Valley snagged Akiha’s head in a front facelock and started to stand up, hauling her foe upwards as she put pressure on her skull.

Akiha had managed to kick out with a bit of time to spare and giving her some time to recover from the brutal attacks she had just taken. Sure the kick out did cost her a bit of energy but it was well worth it in her mind.

She would then be placed in a front face lock and lifted upwards but she would then throw several punches right at her opponent stomach, trying to weaken Valley and take advantage of the situation. Hopefully the attacks would stun her opponent and allow her to escape from the lock, otherwise, she would have to use far crueler methods.

Valley loved wrestling against women her own size, and it wasn’t just for the obvious reasons. It wasn’t just the challenge or the pace or the level of intensity, but the opportunities it provided her to do things she just couldn’t normally do. Like, for instance, suplexes.

She was clenching Akiha’s head tight, intending to lift her up for just that - a vertical suplex, to be specific. Before she had the chance, though, her foe showed she had plenty of spirit left, far more than would be expected from your typical pampered princess.

One blow landed in her gut, then another, and another after that. The fourth one was all Valley could take - she had to let go and stagger away, grasping her stomach as she winced.

The Japanese wrestler managed to get a few punches in before her opponent could lift her up for a vertical suplex. After delivering a few more blows she would finally be released from the headlock, causing Valley Doll to go on the retreat. Taking a second to catch her breath as she had just escaped a possibly nasty situation, the crimson hair wrestler would the charge forward a bit before jumping up into the air. She would bring her legs up and try to send her boots right into her opponent chest, trying to take her down with a dropkick.

Valley grunted with each blow, as the wind was continually knocked out of her. The suplex was a good idea, sure, but it was going to have to wait until later in the match before she properly executed it. At the moment, Akiha was still burning bright despite her continued efforts to stomp the redhead out.

She was prepared to press her waning advantage, though, and was moving in for just that. That only made what happened next even worse - she was running right into the dropkick when it happened, doubling the damage and knocking her clean off her feet. The blow launched her back hard, and she crashed into the turnbuckle with quite a bit of force behind. Slumping, she only stayed up by grabbing the ropes and hanging on, shaking her head as she tried to regain her sense.

Akiha moved forward and it seemed her opponent did the same as well, though this seemed to work out in her favor as she then jumped in the air and did a dropkick that connected right onto her opponent chest, knocking Valley Doll right off her feet and into the turnbuckle. The attack had more effect then Akiha had anticipated but she would gladly take that to the bank.

Getting back on her feet, the crimson hair crusader would see her opponent now shaking her head and grabbing onto the ropes. Seeing a golden opportunity, the Japanese wrestler would once again rush forward before jumping slightly in the air and trying to crash her knee right into her opponent head. If the attack connected it would put her in a good position, though if it missed, it would mean she would be crashing into the turnbuckle. Still, that was how Akiha wrestled, high risk, high rewards.

It was funny, in a way - Valley dropkicked people all the time. The shotgun variety was one of her most used moves, period. In all that time using it, however, she’d rarely had to take one herself - it was a common move, but few of her opponents were capable of pulling it off well.

Akiha was different, though. Akiha was different in many, many ways.

She could pull the move off and do it well, her legs hammering Valley was enough force to leave her stunned. She would’ve recovered in a few seconds, but as it turned out, a few seconds were all the time Akiha needed to follow up. Valley cleared her head just in time to see a knee coming straight for her face. More than a little disturbing.

It hit dead on and rocked her world, filling her vision with stars while her body went limp. She found herself flopping to the floor on her hands and knees, barely able to remember where she was, much less able to do something like mount offense.

Akiha charged forward before jumping slight in the air and sending her knee right into her opponent head. It sent Valley Doll right down to the ground, leaving her stunned. A smile would appear on Akiha face, happy with the results of her attack as she would then get back to her feet. “Not so talkative anymore, are you?” stated Akiha as she towered over her opponent.

She would then attempt to deliver a kick, right into her opponent side, trying to get her a bit closer to the middle of the ring and on her back. If she managed to do so, she would then run towards the ropes before jumping on the middle rope, using it as a springboard to launch herself up in the air. She would then do a flip in the air, trying to land on top of her opponent, trying to perform a lionsault on her.
