It had been an interesting week for Valley Doll, leading up to her much hyped match against Akiha. Management had been pushing it hard for the past few days, doing their best to build up hype for a quickie PPV. She could appreciate that, wanting to squeeze this opportunity for everything it was worth. Made good business sense, of course.
What she could appreciate, though, was the negative reactions swirling around her since she and Akiha crossed paths. As much as she hated to admit, she hadn’t come out of their war of words unscathed, and the internet agreed. Just a cursory glance at the AFW forums showed plenty of topics revolving around her, with more than a few of them stating how she was mocking the Japanese or disrespecting heritage or how she was just another blonde paper champion.
Valley was used to heat. She’d been unpopular before, and she likely would again. But something about this particular instance stung more than before, and she was out to correct the situation ASAP.
So, when her theme music played and Valley came out, she moved with more kick her step than usual. Swung her hips a bit farther. Smiled wider than ever. She did her best to ignore the boos interspersed through the arena as she made her way down to the ring. Valley rolled in under the bottom rope, popped to her feet, and raised the Entropy Title Belt high into the air, putting it on display while she paraded around the ring.
Deep breathes. Focus. She was the champion, she was ready for this.
With sure steps, she made her way to the corner, leaned up against the turnbuckle, and did a few stretches while she waited for Akiha to arrive.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Though Akiha had constantly been seen as a villain, someone who the audience hated and booed. But things seemed to have turned a bit around. It seemed that after her encounter with Valley Doll, the Entropy Champion, the crimson hair wrestler had gotten a large amount of support. She was a bit surprised by this but was glad that some people could see the truth. The fact that people would spread lies about her annoyed her but the fact that she had now gotten into a match and would be able to have her opponent eat her own words would make it worth it all.
Akiha was now waiting at the staging area, near the ramp, ready to start the match, only waiting for her theme music. A few moments would pass by before she heard her theme song play. The crimson hair wrestler would make her way on the ramp, as her music played. Though a good amount of the audience cheered for her, most of them were booing. Still, it was nice to have some audience support unlike in most of her previous matches where she was constantly booed by everyone.
The red hair wrestler would make her way down the ramp and towards the ring, keeping her eye on her opponent. Once she reached the ring, she would grab the bottom rope, before jumping on top of the ring with a single leap. Then grabbing onto the top ropes, she would jump over them and enter the ring, showcasing her high-flying ability.
Akiha would take a step towards her opponent while glaring at her. “Here I am, just me, no maids, no army, just me. Hope you are ready to lose to a so-called pampered princess.” stated Akiha in an annoyed tone. She was looking forward to showing Valley what she was capable of and making her regret her words.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Valley would give Akiha credit: the woman knew how to make a proper entrance. Too many in the younger generation eschewed the flair and just came straight down to the ring without a single frill. Akiha brought some poise with her and a razor sharp focus - if the mixed crowd was bothering her, it didn’t show.
Nope, she just came into the ring, flipped her way inside - nice form - and came straight at Valley. Calm, cool, collected. Eager and ready to prove something.
Valley could admire that. She still had plans on kicking Akiha’s head off her shoulders, but she’d do so respectfully. ”You’re sounding a little ticked off there, Ms. Kosha.” Valley canted her head to the side as she stepped forward to meet her soon-to-be opponent. ”Did I get under your skin a little bit?”
She gave Akiha a wink, and might’ve given her a bit more than that if the referee hadn’t gotten in between them. ”Okay, okay, enough of that nonsense.” She gave Valley a quick push on the chest. ”Back to your corners, save it for the bell.”
With a nod and a knowing smile, Valley did just that, stepping back to her side of the ring as calmly as she could go. Yes, she did have her misgivings and worries about this fight, but there was just no way she’d let them be that easy to pick up on.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Akiha would push her hair to the side with one arm as her opponent spoke to her, talking about how she sounded ticked off and that she might have gotten under her skin. “I just don't like people making up lies about me. Honestly, that is what is wrong with foreigners like you, I am nowhere near perfect but instead of attacking my issues, you just make things up. Still, I look forward to setting the record straight with this match.” stated Akiha as her opponent then gave a wink. The crimson hair wrestler would restrain herself, following her code of honor, though it would still show on her face that she was pissed off by the wink.
The referee would then step in between the two of them, telling them each to get back to their corner. The crimson hair wrestler would follow the referee instructions, getting back to her turnbuckle as she would then wait for the bell to ring. She was looking forward to the match starting.
The bell would then ring and the Japanese wrestler would then raise her hands up in the air, entering a grappling stance as she would then start to walk towards the center of the ring. She was now inviting her opponent in, for the standard collar and elbow tie up.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Yup. Under the skin. Nice and deep.
Valley could see it in Akiha’s eyes - this was getting to her, perhaps more than she cared to admit at the onset. While she hadn’t initially been trying to get her foe riled up when this all started, she was more than willing to work with that now. An accidental advantage was still an advantage, and she wouldn’t pass this one up.
She was keen to see how much she could milk that as the bell rang and Akiha came her way with arms raised, looking for the collar and elbow tie. A nice, traditional way to start, even if that wouldn’t be the way things stayed too long. She could respect the classics. Didn’t mean she couldn’t play with it, though.
As the two neared, Valley raised her hands as well, looking like she was going to accept the test, inching nearer and nearer, mirroring Akiha’s form - right up until the moment she lashed out and swung her leg low, giving the tag champ a swift kick in the shin. She was quick to hop back right after, getting out of range to see how her opponent reacted to the move.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Akiha was getting ready to feel out her opponent and see how well she stacked up against her with the basic collar and elbow tie up. Yet just as the two were about to lock up her opponent would go for a cheap shot and hit her in the shin, causing Akiha to take a step back in pain as she would glare at her opponent. It seemed that Valley was willing to fight dirty, she wasn't sure why perhaps she was scared or perhaps she was trying to piss the crimson hair wrestler off. Though it was going to take a lot more than that to make Akiha truly get mad, after all, she had gone toe to toe with Gwendolyn in a match where the two traded insults.
“I guess you don't really care about your reputation.” stated Akiha as she would then attempt to step forward and close the gap between the two of them. If she could do so, she would then jump in the air and spin her body, trying to perform spinning heel kick, trying to hit Valley with the very same body part that she had just gotten hit.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Direct hit.
It wasn’t going to cripple Akiha or anything, but Valley was satisfied with the impact she achieved, landing a solid blow on her opponent’s leg. It was more meant to irritate than hurt, more about the insult than the injury, and it seemed to work splendidly - the younger wrestler was riled enough to chide her, at least. Good start.
”Awfully chatty for the middle of a-” Before Valley could finish her taunting reply, Akiha rushed in and started to spin around, the telltale sign for a spinning heel kick - one of her own favorite moves, as it turned out. Having a good idea of what was coming was the main thing allowed her to duck under it, just barely slipping by.
”Not bad!” Valley popped up, spun around, and moved swiftly out of range, goading Akiha to come after her.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Akiha attack missed as her opponent moved under it. The crimson hair wrestler would turn around to her opponent. She had done this dance before, though not in the ring but at her home, using words as attacks and then deflecting them and trying to cause the other person to enter in a fit of rage in order to make them look like a fool. It was something that Akiha had been around in all her life as it was a popular way that aristocrats would fight.
So now she either had a choice, she could move in towards Valley or wait for her to move towards her. The crimson hair wrestler would move in, trying to close the distance before once again, attempting to go with a quick roundhouse kick or at least that is what she wanted everyone to think, just as she was about to set it up, she would place her foot down and spin her body and use her other leg to perform a mule kick, hoping to take her opponent off guard and send her right into the turnbuckle.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
While Valley was all smiles on the outside, things were a bit different internally. She was getting the better of Akiha so far, but for all the taunting and teasing and tapping, she was familiar enough with kicks to recognize that the princess’ were top notch. If that roundhouse had connected, it likely would’ve brought the Slamazon to her knees.
So there was a degree of risk here. Not a completely new thing. She could handle it.
Or so she thought.
In came Akiha with another kick, one that Valley was prepared to jump back to avoid. It was a good thing she did that, too, because that was the primary thing that kept the real attack - the mule kick - from knocking her flat. Instead, it hit her chest and sent her stumbling back into the turnbuckle, a hard crash against her back. Not the worst thing in the world, but enough to stun her for a couple of seconds.

Re: Champion Against Champion - Akiha Kosha vs. Valley Doll
Akiha tactic seemed to work, as she managed to land the mule kick right into her opponent and send the Entropy Champion right into the turnbuckle. It felt good to finally land a hit on her opponent who had been taunting her. Now she could start to teach her opponent a lesson when it came to manners and respect.
Now Akiha had her opponent right where she wanted. Now wasting any time, the crimson hair wrestler would charge forward before then jumping in the air and bring both her knees up and trying to sandwich her opponent in between her knees and the turnbuckle. If the attack did connect, she would attempt to grab onto her opponent head with both hands before letting gravity do it's work while keeping her knees up and bring them both down and having Valley head come crashing down on Akiha knees for a facebuster.
