Peggy McIntyre vs. Lita

As soon as the suplex landed Peggy already had a plan in place for what to do. She grabbed one of Lita's arms with both of hers and pulled it up. Peggy then wrapped her legs around Lita's head and outstretched arm to put her in a triangle choke!

Just as Lita was about to make out wher she was she felt Peggy grabbing on to her, and before she knew it she was in a triangle choke. It took Lina a second to see what Peggy had going on there once the move was applied, which she didn't like what she saw for a couple of reasons. For starters, being that Lita was in it. The other being, as she attempted to alert the one wearing the striped shirt, had the potential of not being a legal move. "Hey that's an illegal move ref!" She shouted trying to get the ref's attention and have 'em take a closer look at it as depending how one has it applied it can technically be an illegal hold. Lina wasn't sure if Peggy was going to adjust her positioning and grip on it, but didn't want to take any chances and have the ref look at it. However she knew regardless Lita might not be feeling too good at the moment.

As far as Lita was concerned it wasn't a matter of if it was kosher or not, but a matter of getting out of it asap. She attempted to fight out of it, though after a moment or two she head Lina yell at her "Lean into it, Lita! Lean into it! She had a feeling if Lita did that in might take off some of the pressure and give her a little bit of time to figure out of a way out of there. Peggy still had a firm hold on her, though Lita attempted to lean into it. if she managed to do so the referee would forget about checking the hold and Lita's condition for a moment and instead count down Peggy's shoulders.

Peggy felt Lita shift ignoring everything else going on that wasn't involved in her hold.

"One!"

A damn pin count started and Peggy cursed as she was forced to abandon the hold to avoid losing.  Peggy let go and rolled away, looking to rise to her feet before Lita could get up first and get the drop on her

It looked like Lita dodged a bullet there as Peggy let go of the hold. A three count would have be nice, but at least a submission going the other way didn’t happen on that exchange, which caused Lina to let out a small sigh in relief. Lita wasn’t out of the woods just yet as she climbed back to her feet while holding her arm for a moment that Peggy had a hold of.

When she turned to face Peggy she attempted to go for a dropkick, wanting to catch Peggy unexpectedly. She wasn’t sure how close to Peggy was to her, but she had a feeling Peggy wasn’t far.

Peggy got up to her feet grumbling about having to let go of the hold. She ended up getting much more than she bargained for as Lita jumped up for a dropkick catching Peggy right in the face!

Peggy's head whipped back and she dropped like a ton of bricks, her hands covered her face as she laid on her back kicking in agony!

'Keep it simple Lita' Lina thought, hoping after lucky escape Lita wouldn't rush into things following the dropkick that connected.  She kept an eye on things as Lita went to grab Peggy by the legs.  It looked like she might be going for a submission, boston crab perhaps?  Instead of that she would fall back and look to launch Peggy into the the corner behind her, hoping meeting the corner of the ring the hard way would shake her up a bit more.

Peggy wasn't fully aware of what was going on until she was flying through the air. By then it was too late as she was planted into the corner, her chest throbbing after the impact! "Oomph! Damn big 'un...." Peggy groaned as she fell to the floor again, this time clutching her chest where she was hammered against the turnbuckle.

There was a few things Lita could have done if Peggy didn’t fall down and remained against the corner. However that did not bother Lita as she noticed Peggy laying. When she moved toward Peggy after pulling herself up she lifted her up and looked to place her on the top turnbuckle.

Following her up top Lita wrapped her arms around Peggy and looked to execute a release german suplex from the top rope.

Peggy was hurting but knew this was bad. She felt herself lift up to the top rope and had to get out of this situation fast. As Lita set up behind her Peggy grunted and swung an elbow back up trying to hammer Lita in the face! Desperate, Peggy was willing to do it again and again until Lita fell down to the mat below!

As Lita was able to get a hold of Peggy up top, she felt Peggy striking her from behind. Getting in multiple elbow strikes. She attempted to fend off the barrage until she was forced to abandon ship. As she felt she attempted to land on her feet, but didn’t have good footing on the landing and fell. With Peggy seating up top and with her back still facing her, Lita hoped that would give her time to at least get back to her feet before Peggy could get down on her own.
