Contendership Round 2: Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Shanari Drackanov

"Ngah!! "

Shanari cried out loudly when she was powerbombed back onto the mat, closing her eyes tightly, her body arching for a few seconds before she laid limply on the mat.

When the powerbomb was sucessful, Akashi held Shanari against the mat still in the psoition and went to pin her. She held her tightly as the ref began to count. Please just stay down! She thought as the ref began the count.

"One!"

Shanari heard the first count but simply couldn't move. That powerbomb did quite a number on her, her eyelids coming to a close as she simply rested upon the mat, a series of soft panting escaping her mouth.

Akashi held the pin count, more resting on SHanari than holding her. Akashi DIdn't want to admit it, but the bomb had taken a lot out of her as well. It took most of her strength just to perform it and as the ref counted

"Two!"

She hoped she could make it through one more second.

Shanari panted softly, she was starting to recover but not quite in time to start struggling again, laying her head against the back and resting quietly, she couldn't win with her current strength, nor did it seem wise against a opponent who had total leverage over her.

Akashi held firm as the ref counted the final second.

"Three!"

Akashi collapsed against Shanari and began to pant heavily. "Dammit." She whispered with a smile. "That really took a lot out of me." She had a hard time even standing to get her arm lifted as she closed her eyes and rested against her opponent for a few precious seconds.

Shanari released a soft grunt when Akashi collapsed on her but didn't do much, her eyes completely closed and resting underneath her, she knew she had lost but she didn't seem to care that much, her arms and legs spread upon the mat while she allowed Akashi to rest upon her.
