Round Two: Sarah Gatt vs Shanari Drackanov (Complete)

Standard match; victory via pin, submission or KO


After her short break Sarah was already ready for more. Her last match wasn't too difficult to win, so she was still relatively fresh. That left plenty of fight in her to destroy her oponant like she had so many others. She had found a certain calling in the AFW, something she hadn't expected. Sarah had come to this league (accidently) on the thoughts of revenge. But oddly enough, what changed her tune was the cheers of the crowds as she mercilessly defeated her opponants that did it. Normally the reaction she got from others when she did the same on the street was disgust. Here she was urged to do it. And that suited her just fine.

"And now, round two of the AFW tournament!" the announcer shouted, signaling the end of Sarah's break. "Many talented ladies have fought in this ring today, but only a few will move on. So without further ado, reintroducing the queen of brawl: SARAHHHH GAAAAAAATTT!!!!"

With a strut from backstage as her music played, Sarah Gatt re-entered the AFW stage. There looked like there were even more people in the crowd than before. All of them had come to see her and the other girl's fight. See would be sure not to dissapoint. She smiled darkly at the thought.

She walked down the ramp, and as always she ignored the crowd as she did. She climbed in the ring and hopped through the ropes, and only then would she turn to the crowd, and raised her hand in the sign of the devil. The crowd cheered all the louder. Sarah grinned, lowered her arm and removed her signature leather jacket, throwing it into the corner post. Then she went to that corner, leaned against it, and smiled as she waited for her would-be victim.

The lights suddenly shifted from white to red, the lights nearest to the entrance directed towards it, showing the Russian girl standing infront of it and staring up at the ring. The Russian was dressed in the red sports bra with a black butterfly on the center of it, mostly snugged between her breasts, dark red arm warmers, a black skirt with dark red panties underneath. Her legs were protected by long black stockings that went up almost into her skirt.

" And her opponenttttt.. The girl who thinks before acting but always manages to be effective, Shanariiiii Drackanoovvvvv! "

She'd tilt her head to the side to stare up at her opponent, though not seeing her clearly. She'd start to take slow steps towards the ramp, keeping a close eye upon the girl and thought to herself.

" I can't screw this up.. That last match was too close for comfort.. "

Shanari stood right besides the ring, watching her opponent from a much closer view, rolling underneath the lower ropes and inside the ring, finding it to easiest and quickest way to enter. She'd stand on her feet, stretching her arms all the way up to get a better feeling in them while she walked to the opposite turnbuckle, leaning her back against it and silently waited for the bell to ring, not even giving her opponent any sort of respect.

Sarah watched her opponant Shanari as she entered the ring. She doesn't look all that tough, she thought idly. Still, there was something off about her, almost something inapproachable.

Regardless, when the bell rang Sarah would approach her, stopping at the center of the ring. "Hey there," Sarah called, for once in her life sounding friendly. "It's nice to meet you. Let's have a friendly match." She extended her hand for a shake, smiling kindly.

When the bell rung, Shanari was going to rush out but Sarah's sudden kind gesture made her rethink that. The Russian was trying to hide a smirk, another plan formed in her mind.

" ..I shouldn't be trusting this. The girl either is trying to trick me or is actually more kinder then I estimated... However. "

Shanari started to smile, starting to step forward towards Sarah and raised her own hand to meet hers and take a hold of hers. Although unless Sarah was faster then her she'll try to pull on the girl's arm, releasing it when she got close enough to get her in a sudden bearhug.

Sarah's smile turned more sinister as soon as Shanari grasped her hand, but the girl was faster than she thought, and used her trick against her, and suddenlt Sarah found herself in a tight bearhug. She grunted slightly, finding it harder to breath. And yet through it, she still wore her dark grin.

"Well now," she sneered. "I can tell I'm gonna enjoy this." Rearing back her head as far as it could go, Sarah would try to headbutt Shanari in the face.

Shanari watched her opponent with outmost silence, though her opponent's grin was rather startling, finally speaking in return.

" ..Shut up. "

The Russian however didn't count on such a swift headbutt, gasping out and releasing the bearhug immidiatly, bringing hand to her face while the other swung blindly out towards Sarah's chest to try and fend her off.

The headbutt worked just as Sarah planned and she breathed normally again. She was pushed back by Shanari before she could capatilize on it, and stumbled backwards. She waited for Shanari there, sneering at her. "What's the matter?" Sarah laughed. "I thought we were getting along?"

Shanari rubbed her forehead, noticing that Sarah had backed away and became a little more at ease, finally recoverying from the blow. Shanari's hands moved back infront of her and got into her stance, deciding to reply to her.

" If you thought that was really a friendly hug, I suppose I'll have to be rougher. "

Suddenly she'd dash towards Sarah and tried to tackle her upon the ground so she could initiate a grapevine pin, she was a little edgy though because it seemed the girl had something dark, she hasn't crossed anyone that gave her a slight shivver in a long time.

"Oh, scary," Sarah mocked, never losing that arrogance of hers. Either Shanari didn't know of her fearsome reputation or she didn't think much of it. Either way, Sarah would make sure she knew of her now.

When Shanari charged her Sarah did the only thing she could think of. She held her ground and tried to stop the Russian in her tracks, confident in her strength to do so. If Sarah managed to stop Shanari when she barrled into her, she would give a sharp knee straight into the girl's gut. Otherwise she would find herself in a painful grapevine position.

Shanari blinked when she couldn't get Sarah down, instead she was pressed against the girl as she stood still. She couldn't quite understand how she failed to bring her down with such a simple attack and paid the price when she stayed too long against Sarah, coughing out when the air was send out from her lungs, trying to step back immidiatly away from Sarah.
