Julia Rogers vs Peggy McIntyre

Did someone in AFW management know about Julia’s recent meeting and workout with one of Friction’s newest recruits? Or had they chosen the cowgirl’s next opponent simply by chance? Either way, tonight Julia was scheduled to go one on one with the lively Irishwoman, Peggy McIntyre! The two had only met days ago, and it was then Julia had been surprised to learn Peggy was actually a fan of hers. Small world. That had been a flattering experience, but tonight was going to be much more unique. You get to see and meet fans all the time, but how often do you get a chance to wrestle with them? Of course, her brief time sparring with Peggy had shown the girl wasn’t just some random fangirl. This chick could go in the ring, and Julia didn’t plan on underestimating her.

Soon Modern Day Cowboy began to play over the speakers, and the Higurashi dojo’s resident cowgirl burst through the curtain onto the stage! A wave of loud cheers from the audience welcomed Julia, who smiled brightly while pointing finger skyward. “Alright! Lets do this!” she yelled out before quickly making her way down the ramp, high fiving as many fans as possible on her way to the ring. The cowgirl hopped up onto the apron and grabbed the top rope, then leapt over it into the ring and immediately climbed up to the middle rope of one of the nearby corners.

Julia cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted out to the crowd, “WHAT’S UP, TOKYO?!” Another round of cheers came in response, and the smiling cowgirl hopped down from the ropes. As her music died down the blonde walked over into one of the far corners and looked down the entranceway, now just waiting for Peggy to come join her so they could get this party started!

Junko had given Julia a pat on the butt before she entered the ring and began to fire the crowd up. Although she wasn't technically managing the girl at ringside, Julia wanted Junko to see a potential new prospect for the Dojo. So as Julia came down the ramp, Junko slipped throguh to the announcer's table where she had a seat next to the chattering duo.

The girl was apparently named Peggy McIntyre and while Junko didn't recognize the girl's picture, the name, at least, rang a bit of a bell. Unfortuantely, she hadn't gotten a chance to do any research, so all she had to go on was Julia's word and an eye test.

Dressed in a fancy salmon colored Kimono, Junko sat elegantly in her chair, fanning herself off with her infamous folding hand fan. There was a gleam in her eye as she looked proudly up at Julia.

Peggy was backstage, pacing anxiously. She won her first match and suddenly found her facing down a rising star.... and favorite wrestler of hers.... in just her second match! As the Irish woman's music played, Peggy made her way out to the ramp, a serious look on her face as she walked down the ramp. She was clad in her usual attire: A green one piece swimsuit, green boots along with gold knee and elbow pads.

The crowd gave her some applause, as a few did like her old school style that she exhibited during her debut. However, some booing was heard as well, given her use of questionable tactics at the end. To Peggy it was a fight, and offense was offense. If Gemma couldn't handle an eye rake she shouldn't have been in the ring with Peggy. As she climbed between the ropes, Peggy looked over and smiled at Julia. "Hey, nice ta see ya again! Too bad I have to kick yer ass all over my ring here before we can go out an' make up afterwards!" Peggy said confidently, extending her hand.

That is when she noticed Junko ringside. She remembered that woman, she managed one of her aunts opponents... an opponent that beat her handily in every match they ever had. Peggy flashed her a cocky smile and wink. "I can't wait ta show her how rough a McIntyre lass can be inside these ropes.." Peggy said, still looking at Junko for a moment before returning her attention to Julia.

Julia smiled as she watched her opponent/fan make her way down the ramp. She was a bit surprised, however, to hear a few scattered boos coming from the audience. She hadn’t seen Peggy’s debut match yet, but she’d heard she won. Did the boos have to do with that match? Or did it have to do with the fact that Peggy was a rookie? Whatever the reason, the people had every right to cheer or boo as they pleased. So as odd as it seemed to Julia, she just shrugged it off.

“Heh. Still got that confidence, huh? Glad to see it. Lets see if you can back it up when it counts.” Julia replied with a grin, stepping forward to shake Peggy’s hand in the middle of the ring, before moving back into her corner. Then Julia noticed something else rather peculiar: Peggy was giving a rather noticeable amount of attention. Did the two know each other? ...Well either way, it gave the cowgirl an idea on how to have a bit of fun with this. She pointed a finger out toward Junko, and repeatedly waved her other hand upward, encouraging some noise from the crowd. Within moments, chants of “JUN-KO! JUN-KO! JUN-KO!” were echoing through the arena, bringing another smile to the masked blonde’s lips as she listened. It was fun getting the crowd involved for a bit, and she was also curious to see what sort of reaction it would bring out form Peggy.

But before long the bell rang, so it was time to stop playing around and get to business. “Alright. Here we go.” Julia said, clapping her hands once as she started to circle the ring, keeping her eyes locked onto the redhead. And after a moment, she put her arms up and lunged in toward Peggy to try to initiate a lockup between them.

Peggy smiled as Julia was bouncing all over the place, getting the crowd riled up. As the bell rang, Julia was on the move and Peggy embraced the lockup! "Ya just keep tempting me with lockups when ya are a speedy one..." Peggy said as she struggled with Julia. While she was shorter, Peggy was heavier. She tried to get one arm underneath and inside Julia's, coming around to the side to put the masked luchadora in a side headlock!

"Best be careful, ya can't tag in that muscley amazon lass this time like ya did at the gym!" Peggy said as she put on a squeeze to the headlock! Peggy also knew that Julia was well aware of her technical skills. However, the spar didn't really let Peggy highlight her speed. While not as fast as Julia, she was faster than one would think by looking at a woman with her frame..... perhaps tonight Julia would get to see first hand.

The two locked horns in the center of the ring, and the struggle was on as both pushed against each other. But it didn’t stay that way for long, as one of Peggy’s arms then slung itself right around Julia’s head to put her in a tight side headlock. “Ngh!” the luchadora grunted, cringing in pain and discomfort when the Irishwoman squeezed down on her.

“That’s right... Got ya all to myself this time.” Julia replied with a little grin, which was a bit awkwardly distorted thanks to the headlock. The blonde then moved one arm around the back of Peggy’s waist, and smacked the palm of her free hand into the girl’s stomach while leaning back, attempting to get her foe to back up into the ropes. If she managed it, Julia would place a hand against Peggy’s back and shove forward with the intent of sending her running into the ropes across the ring.

Peggy had Julia right where she wanted her.... for a quick second. She felt herself get shoved and was running towards the ropes. Peggy accelerated with the shove, bouncing off the ropes and rocketing back at Julia! She grinned as she jumped into the air, flying feet first at Julia in an attempt to hit her with a missile dropkick!

"Time ta kiss the boots Julie-girl!" Peggy said as she jumped up and flew right at the cowgirl!

The scenario closely resembled one that had taken place during a friendly spar between these two girls recently. Then, Julia had braced for what seemed like an oncoming shoulder block, only for Peggy to spin away and launch into a dropkick. The cowgirl had no intention of being fooled by that little trick again, and was just waiting for the redhead to try it so she could counter. However, once again Julia’s expectations were deceived. And instead of the shoulderblock feint, Peggy simply launched right into the dropkick, with one boot slamming into Julia’s chest and the other right into the side of her masked face!

“Ugh!” The blonde shouted out as the impact dropped her right onto her back!

Peggy stood up with both arms held high for a split second before once more making a dash at the ropes! "Yer not the only lass inside this ring who likes to fly!" Peggy shouted as she was in motion, jumping up on the second rope and spring-boarding off, flying at the grounded Julia elbow first, looking to land a springboard elbow drop!

Peggy confidence was high, and if there was anyone who wanted to show off a bit it was her. As she flew down at Julia, Peggy gave Junko a little wink as she flew!

The dropkick had knocked Julia down, but she still had her wits about her. And when Peggy went running off at the ropes, the blonde luchadora quickly somersaulted in the same direction, coming out of it right as the Irish girl was landing on the ropes.

As soon as Peggy sprang off and took to the sky, Julia leapt up into the air as well and threw her boots right at her foe’s chest, aiming to blast Peggy right out of mid air with a dropkick of her own!
