Julia Rogers vs Peggy McIntyre

Peggy slapped the mat with her hands as she got up, disappointed that the match was continuing... but not surprised. She knew Julia was tough. Peggy yanked Julia up by the hair and kept hold, trying to distract Julia from Peggy's real target.

As she pulled the luchadora up hair-first, Peggy looked to land three fast kicks to Julia's mid-section to soften her up! Was it an honest tactic? Probably not. Was this a fight and did being nice inside the ropes really have a place? According to Peggy, no way. She was here to win, as was Julia. They could kiss and make up after, as Peggy tended to view herself inside the ring vs. outside the ring as two distinct people almost. This was just an example of that thinking...

Julia would’ve liked a second or two to catch her breath after having a good chunk of it knocked out by the lionsault/suplex combo just seconds ago. But no rest for the weary, as they say, as Peggy wisely opted to keep the pressure on. She yelped as Peggy yanked her up by her golden locks, wincing in pain and grasping at the Irish girl’s wrists. But a bit of hair pulling was the least of her worries.

“Ugh!” Julia gasped as a quick kick struck against her midsection, followed immediately by a second. It seemed pretty clear Peggy was painting a nice, big target on the cowgirl’s torso, which again was sound strategy. If Julia’s out of breath, it becomes pretty hard to operate her high speed aerial assaults. But the luchadora wasn’t ready to let that happen just yet. And as the third kick came in, Julia coiled an arm around the leg right as it hit against her, trapping it in place. Then without warning she’d immediately drop down while abruptly twisting her body to hit Peggy’s leg with a sudden Dragon Screw!

Peggy felt herself leaving her feet and knew this wasn't good. She was tossed hard to the mat and her momentum kept her rolling! Peggy knew Julia would hammer her if she stayed put, so Peggy opted to regroup: She rolled over a few feet more, right underneath the ropes to the outside of the ring!

Peggy took a few deep breaths... even though she had been in control she was still drained from the constant exertion of moves. She paced with her hands on her hips, looking up at Julia. A few people in the crowd voiced their displeasure with Peggy's retreat, and began to boo the Irish woman. Peggy in a fit turned to look at them, holding her arms out. "Oh shut up ya bloomin' morons! If ya think you can do better I welcome ya to try! Ya wouldn't last a minute inside those ropes there against me!"

The dragon screw went off without a hitch and sent the fiery Irishwoman tumbling. Many would’ve immediately tried getting back up to retake their momentum as soon as possible, forgetting about the fact that Julia would likely be right there ready to strike. But Peggy took the wiser route and slid outside to regroup, right as Julia was picking herself up again. But as the cowgirl rested a hand over her stomach and took a few big breaths to get her wind back, she noticed Peggy’s moment of wisdom had ended, and the girl had turned her attention away from Julia and to the crowd. That was about to cost her if the cowgirl had anything to say about it.

She ran off into the ropes, which sent her into a sprint toward the side of the ring Peggy was standing by. As she approached the ropes ahead Julia threw her arms down to send herself into a cartwheel handspring, and when her feet touched the ground again she leapt up into a moonsault that sent her floating over the top rope and right toward where Peggy was standing at ringside!

Peggy heard the crowd react with booing, then it quickly turned to gasps of amazement. As she turned she saw Julia feet away, rocketing right at her! She had just enough time to register panic on her face when the cowgirl crashed down on top of her! "AAARRGGHH!" Peggy shouted as she was hammered by Julia! Peggy laid flat on her back, writhing and kicking in pain in the wake of the horrendously painful diving move that hit!

Peggy moaned in agony as she grabbed her mid-section with her arms, still kicking. "Y-you crazy bitch... I-I'll make ya pay fer that...." Peggy weakly muttered, trying to sound defiant but more likely than not coming off as weak.

Julia came crashing down right on top of Peggy and took the Irishwoman straight down! And while her foe writhed about in pain, the luchadora popped up with a bright smile and went to high five a few of the cheering fans in the front row. “That’s right! That’s how we do it!” she said before turning her attention back to Peggy.

Moving over to the floored woman, Julia crouched down and grabbed one of Peggy’s arms while moving her other hand behind the redhead’s neck so she could guide her back to her feet, before trying to roll her back into the ring under the bottom rope. From there the blonde would hop up onto the apron, one hand grasping the top rope while the other rubbed briefly against her own stomach, which still was feeling the effects of Peggy’s offensive flurry from moments ago. But Julia kept her mind off of that as much as she could, electing to focus on waiting for Peggy to get up, while measuring her positioning for the next attack...

Peggy was puddy in Julia's hands as she was picked up and put back in the ring. Peggy moaned in pain as she slowly rolled a short distance away from the ropes. She was on her stomach and slowly began to make her way to her feet. She needed to fight back... but she was in so much pain from the impact of the diving move that she was nearly out on her feet as she staggered up.

"Wait 'til I get my hands on ya..." Peggy said, looking over at Julia who was setting up for something. Peggy knew it probably couldn't be good by any means, but the weakened, wobbly Irish woman was not ready to call it in just yet. However, it had taken considerable time and even more energy just to get back up to her feet slowly, giving Julia ample time to work her high speed offense.

“Come on...” Julia muttered under her breath as she watched Peggy stagger back to her feet, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Even a second too soon or too late could derail her entire plan of action in a heartbeat. But if all went well, the risk would be well worth the reward.

As soon as the redhead pushed up to get to her feet, Julia leapt up onto the top rope before springing off of it, sending her tearing through the air right at Peggy! Julia threw her legs out and attempted to land sitting astride the Irishwoman’s shoulders with her thighs clamping to the sides of her head. If she stuck the landing, the luchadora would immediately roll back as quickly as her body could, and attempt to flip Peggy onto her back with a hurricanrana!

Julia was so fast that Peggy, normally the faster woman in the ring and a ring-smart woman did not have time to react. As it happened all she could think was "turn it into a sitdown powerbomb to flatted this crazy jumpin' lass" but Julia's speed prevented any real attempt at a reversal.

Peggy hit the mat and let out a shrill, high pitched cry as she laid on her back grabbing her head in both arms while weakly kicking the mat. Her head and torso hurt so much that she could barely move. Her legs raising up and meekly stomping the mat, her heaving breaths and cries of pain were the only signs if life Peggy shown.

Another burst of cheers echoed from the crowd when Julia sent Peggy crashing onto her back with the hurricanrana! The luchadora just smiled and held a hand up high while waving in toward herself to encourage the cheers to keep on coming.

But, as nice as it was to have her aerial offense doing so well, this was also a good moment to slow things down just a bit. She didn’t want to completely gas and wind herself out just to give Peggy an easy chance at victory later on. So she moved by the Irish woman’s boots and reached down to grab her legs, then attempted to turn her over to apply a boston crab!
