Shido would do his best to prove himself and try to tie things up. He'd tense himself and try to shoot the puck forwards aligning it with the hole. As he wound up to shoot, he'd slip a bit, falling forwards and accidentally sliding his stick into the puck forcefully. As silly as he looked stumbling as he took his shot, it seemed to have a clear trajectory going forwards! And sure enough the puck would come to a slow halt, just barely coming to a stop after entering the hole.

There would be a few cheers from the crowd as it seemed that luck chose Shido that day. And as silly as the situation seemed, he would smile and wave a bit as he somehow managed to tie the score! "I, uh, I guess dumb luck can work in my favor every now and then, haha"

Daisuke look concerned as Shido fell over. As she went to ask if he was alright, as came as a natural reaction, she also glanced at where the shot went. She locked shocked that the reaction everyone gave was that it indeed went through the hole and crossed the goal line.

Lina's jaw almost dropped at what went down. Lita was surprised too, but also not. She believed that such thing as beginner's luck was a thing, but at the same time it still felt unexpected. Sion was also surprised by the outcome, but saw Daisuke looking at Shido after he fell. She does offer to help him up as they find out they are doing to do a tie breaker, though this time they'll be shooting from a lot father.

This time they go to where the net on the other side of the rink is. They are informed they each have one shot and whoever is closest wins. In addition to the distance, the other change is they'll be shooting on an open net, meaning that the board with the small hole is removed and the target is the net with nothing in front of it. Shido gets to go first this time.

Shido would celebrate with Daisuke. Dumb luck was dumb luck but a point was also a point and it was one Shido had earned despite being a beginner. Their celebration was inaudible and lost in the roars of the crowd, but everyone seemed happy regardless.

They'd make their way to the opposite end of the rink and begin their next challenge. The distance seemed to be a bit more than with the previous net and as with the previous shots, Shido was nervous. Still though, he was ready, or as ready as he was going to be. "I got this! I hope! Haha, Hug for good luck?" Shido would offer Dai, hoping to draw on whatever luck he had during that previous shot.

She was trying to get a good feel of the new distance when Shido spoke. "Hm? Oh, sure." She gave him a small one, it felt partially out of place timing wise but she wasn't against supporting him like that.

She watched as he went, seeing the form he uses as well he handles the distance. She wasn't unfamiliar with the distance, but it wasn't every day she was taking shot from this far out.

Shido was kinda of a goof and would be the kind of person to give awkward, untimely hugs. Still though, that didn't mean he didn't appreciate her reciprocating. He approached the puck and took a moment to think of how to best shoot it. The trajectory seemed to be what mattered most here, as Shido was sure he could shoot it far enough; it was just a matter of whether or not he could hit it at the right angle. He took the puck to the smallest legal distance he could and began to concentrate. After a few moments, he took a wide stance, leaned a little to the right, and smacked the puck in a motion similar to how one would take a stroke in golf.

He got some pretty good force into his swing and the puck darted forward! It seemed to be a much less suspenseful shot than his previous attempted, since the puck actually traveled with some speed. The puck made a beeline towards the left half of the net, barely clipping the edge of it and ricocheting towards the inside! Shido let out a huge sigh as things seemed to go his way. It seemed that approaching things with skill and concentration and the support of his new friends worked in his favor!

Even though she was happy for him that he got it in, part of her felt like that last shot was completely beginner's luck. Regardless of if that is a legit thing or not she was still down by one and had to make this one to tie it back up. She knew she had the entire net to shoot at unlike last time, but with a greater distance.

After taking a moment to set it up she fired off a wrist shot that looked like it had some height and speed behind it. It took a bounce of the the ice near the far blue line but still kept most of its momentum and on course...however it rang off the post and stayed out. It was pretty heartbreaking for her and those watching as it was a shot shot. She made a short and quiet sight, not pleased with the result but knows it's not the end of the world. She moved her hand through her hair for a moment before offering to shake Shindo's hand.

Shido shook Daisuke's hand and patted her on the back. She looked kinda bummed out and he wanted to be supportive and helpful. The crowd still seemed to be behind her and many clapped and cheered, despite the missed mark. Anyone who saw her form and attempted shot could tell it was the kind that she could make consistently if she tried.

"Yo, it's totally ok! No worries. Let's go spend the prize money all in one place on food!"

"Hm? Well if you say so, but there's still more of the game to watch." The thought of him doing that was a good one, but it still felt unexpected. "Just keep some for yourself though." She managed to sneak away while he was getting the money and went to rejoin the others, though they went to find her and they passed each other at one point but backtracked and caught up with each other.

That was a fair amount of money that managed to evade her, but she wasn't too disappointed. "At least I didn't start of with that much and lost." After a few seconds of talking more about how it went Lita asked her where Shido was. "Last I saw he was about get the money he won. Should I have waited for him?"

"Nah he should be fine, he knows where we are." Sion comments.

Shido finally caught up with everyone. He stumbled into the seating area where they were situated and tried to find his footing. "Man, this stadium is huge! It'd be pretty easy for me to get lost in here. Please don't leave me behind next time, haha." Shido said in a sort of half joking tone.

"Did I miss anything important in the game?" he posed this question to any among them that would answer

"You think this is big?" Sion tells him, which for this part of the country it isn't super big but not small either. "A couple hours away from where we're from there's one that can hold 18-20 thousand people." He mentioned there is one a lot closer to home that holds about half that, and some public arenas that you could find anywhere that could fit way less." Daisuke mentions in addition to that that there's one in Japan, she thinks in Saitama, that can draw well over 35000 and ranks up there for crowd capacity, topping many arenas in North America.

They were glad to see nobody tried to jump him and take all the money just won, which Lita wonders where it is, doubting he was able to fit all of it in his wallet. "Well whatever you did with it there is still one more period to go. It should be starting soon. Shall we?" Lita suggests as she turns to go back to watch the rest of the game.
