Fancy meeting you here

Shido tried paying attention to the game, just as everyone else had seemed to be doing. He didn't want to bother everyone with more questions, but he wasn't as into it as everyone else was. He had just noticed the zoomed in images of the player's faces appearing on the monitor above, near the scoreboard.

"haha, you know, I'm just now noticing that this is a women's hockey game."

Sion mentions that he heard of one girl who played in a men's pro game, Manon Rheaume he says her name if he recalled correctly but pronounces it slightly off due to it's french sounding pronunciation but it's common for that to happen. When the time clock reached 0 Lita turned to him and asked "Any questions?" Remember what she said to him earlier.

"Yes, actually." he would answer."Is there a point to the referee if they can just kind of hit each other wherever?"

Shido was no stranger to contact sports, but he level of contact without rules enforcement he was seeing in this game was something else!

Lita didn't seen any penalties called in that period so she tells him that in addition to telling if a goal has been properly scored or not, which if he didn't know then Sion would explain it after, some, but not all, of the different types of penalties. She adds that hockey's the only spot where you can kind of get away with fighting...kind of. She mentions how in some of the pro leagues back in North America the majority of the time it's just a five minute penalty, but in international tournament play it's game ejection at the very least. Sion chimes in to that "You know if that wasn't the case the Russians wouldn't be as cocky and dumb as they are."

Daisuke tells him "It's alright babe. No need to scare the virgin over here." Commenting that it was Shido's first time watching the game and didn't mean it as a hit on his sexuality. "I'm alright. Just sayin' because of that, depending where you are and other factors, fights can cut down the number of cheap shots a game could see. But that's an entirely different topic." He didn't know how this particular league governed in that sense or other rules.

Daisuke mentioned it will be some time before the game resumes, maybe fifteen-twenty minutes or so.

Shido nodded and looked on attentively as Lita offered her explanation and Sion gave his input. Shido was happy to be more informed about an event he had happened upon by chance.

He blushed slightly at the virgin comment but chose to ignore it for now, and instead he tried to change the subject "So...uh, what do you guys wanna do during the intermission? We already ate, sort of, haha..."

Lita mentions that it's a good time to get more food. Or just sit and talk and watch the zamboni drive around, or at least stand up and stretch, or stuff like that. Daisuke got up and walked away without saying a word, though she walked a little quicker than usual. Lita knew where Dai was heading and said to Shido "Or the obvious."

Shido stretched his arms and gave Lita a puzzled look. "The...obvious? Will Daisuke be ok? Is she upset? "

He inquired sincerely while trying to figure out what was going on.

"She will be" she tells him. "Unless there's a long bathroom lineup." If that didn't give it away she would be prepared to be more blunt but she hoped he got it.

"Oh yeah, the lines for the ladies room can get pretty crowded, right? You didn't want to go with her? I know it's a stereotype, but I've heard women usually go to the bathroom with friends" he said, unaware of how it might come across

Lita gives him a small shrug. “Not really. I’ve heard of that too but I never really got why. I’ve gone at the same time as her before but nothing out of the ordinary happened.” Like Lita, Sion heard about it as well but also didn’t get it.
