Not Home Alone

It was odd to Xuan to see that Junko could change emotion so easily.Almost scary,in fact.However,twenty years of harsh conformity to become the best theif made Xuan reclusive.Being around someone like Junko instead of her old partners was more uplifting and maybe even therapeutic to the purple-harried thief.While Junko ran upstairs,talking about her intentions to pack the day with finding boys to gawk at and practicing at.... "W-What?! But...But what if what happened earlier happens again? I dont want t be embarrassed."

Xuan slowly raised from the same spot in which she was hiding just a bit of time before in fear.Following her friend upstairs,she didnt have the same energy.And she saw that as well. "Isnt your nickname "Deathbird'? You dont seem as menacing as your name implies..."

Junko made her way to the top as she smiled to Xuan and said in an effort to reassure her. "Oh, don't worry about a thing, Xuan. I'll let you know when you might do it again. That way, I'll point you to the direction of the boy, you kiss him, he kisses you back! Simple as that." She made her way back to the door of Xuan's room and opened it as she adds, "Well, Deathbird is only meant to be the fighter and not so much the normal person. I am usually Deathbird because I can fight really well and my screech is a major force. I mostly do those things when I'm in costume though."

"That's.....That's not exactly what I'm talking about.Remember earlier when I...." She was embarrassed to even say it,but Junko would ask her to continue,so might as well say it. "When I....S-Soiled the rug? I'd might as well start packing if I do that somewhere public..."

She grabbed a tube of toothpaste from the drawer in the bathroom,a new one. "Here." She handed Junko a toothbrush that was still in the package.Xuan only had so many extra things laying around due to the training she received in preparedness back then.

Junko thanked Xuan for the toothbrush and the toothpaste before adding, "Oh, you don't need to worry about that. We'll find a way to have you padded up and resistant to those kinds of things in no time." She gave a reassuring smile to show that she'll help her out in any way that she can. "By the way, do you also have any dental floss?"

Having already starting to brush her teeth,Xuan pointed to the same drawer again so Junko could find the dental floss.

The thought of that made Xuan blush darkly,which then led to her gagging a bit on her toothbrush while she was brushing her teeth.Xuan had to spit out the paste into the sink and cough a few times. "A-And how do you plan to do that?" She dared to ask,her voice a bit muffled up because she didnt rinse what was still left yet.

After Junko thanked Xuan again for the dental floss, she would begin flossing as she said, "Well, first thing tomorrow, we get some pads handy in case you have one of those "feelings" again. Then, I'll explain to you the basics of what to say to a guy to get him interested. I'll also bring up some bottled water in case you get heated."

After flossing between her teeth, Junko would rinse her mouth before applying some toothpaste to her toothbrush and start brushing.

This was getting odd.Xuan tried to think about something else to change the topic to while she swished water around in her mouth to rinse the excess paste.Holding back her long,purple hair,Xuan spit it up in the sink. "That sounds good and all....And not to offend,but what makes you such an expert on guys and what they want to hear?" It was a curiousity,as Xuan truly wondered what she or Junko could possibly know.

After two minutes of brushing her teeth and tongue, Junko would too spit out the excess toothpaste before rinsing her mouth. Wiping her mouth a little after spitting out the water, she would smile and reply to Xuan, "Well, during my early start as a fighter, I took glances at what men often say to get the girl and what the girl says to get the guy. And if there's one thing I do know about guys is that they want to hear you speak out about yourself. Your character should be defined in how you look and how much you are willing to be with him."

"Just to ask,how were you when you were in a position like mine? When you were a beginner." Xuan could only imagine what Junko was like in her start.Was she already amazingly good at wrestling,or was she only moderately good? She couldnt possibly think of Junko being bad.She was too good for that.

Xuan heard also what Junko thought guys wanted.They wanted to hear about her,and that would be judge of her character.But,what sort of character did the thief girl have? "W-What can I even talk about? I only spent the past how many years as a trained theif for hire.I dont think a guy wants to hear anything about that,nor the pain and torture endured." She had a point,but was only being so negative because she had no experience in this field prior.

Junko would comb her hair as she said to Xuan, "Well, since I was a big fan of wrestling when I was younger, sometimes, I combine the moves my father taught me with wrestling. With that, I made my own fighting style and I have only fought in self defense."

When Xuan asked what she can say to a guy, Junko knew she had a point when she couldn't talk about that harsh life as a thief. After giving much thought, she would say, "To summarize your life into a suitable tone for the guy, just say this: You, Xuan, are very skilled in the field, much like a soldier. You had an adoptive father who loved you in spite of his strict demeanor, but you lost him during one battle. You had no one to turn to from there and you wanted to be accepted now that you're on your own."
