Not Home Alone

From what the Voice had told her,people here came from almost every walk of life imaginable.And some,from places that could never possibly be imagined unless you had some sort of bearing on what it was like.And already,Xuan saw that in Junko.Both of them had come from parent-less places.But,there were still many major differences. "Oh....Your father taught you." She wanted to tread lightly,this being someone dear o Junko that was gone.Upsetting her would result in something that Xuan didnt want to think about.

"You...You just made my life sound drastically different than I could have ever thought of." She said in a surprised tone.It seemed that Xuan was doing a lot of thinking while in her bathroom at nighttime.Maybe she was just starting to get to that level of being tired...

"It's okay, Xuan," said Junko with a smile. "It doesn't really upset me much. He meant to protect us all before he died...I'm sure he would've loved to be your father too."

As to how Xuan should speak with the guy, Junko would respond, "I know...but I believe this to be the truth to simply put it. The guy would simply do anything to keep his girl safe, so as long as you trust him, he won't leave you at all."

It was saddening to Xuan that she had no parents.She never knew who they were.And for Junko to offer up her mother and sisters to share....How could Xuan not shed a tear? And so she did.A few tears came from her eyes from the bottom of her heart,where all the pain centered itself.But,Xuan smiled.For they were tears of joy and happiness.And she was sure Junko's dad would've also made a good father for Xuan.He seemed pretty tough.

To break the tension,she tried to make a joke. "You are talking about normal guys,right? I-I mean,most of the guys there wouldnt seemed to be intrested in anything but fighting..."

Junko would chuckle as she went with Xuan's joke. She would walk up to her and hug her closely to show that she was still here for her and know how she is feeling right now. Junko promised that once her mother and sister were found, then Xuan will be part of their family too.

"Yeah, normal guys," said Junko going with her friend. "And besides, even normal guys like fighting...which was one reason why my mother was so interested in him." She chuckled a bit at her own joke before adding, "And don't worry about anything else, just follow my lead and you'll be just fine."

Xuan's face lit up in a confused,flustered burst of emotion when she was hugged by Junko.Hugging her back took some sort of communicative effort for Xuan to accomplish.It wouldnt be bad to have another family.A strong family of women.Yeah,Xuan could almost see it. "Yeah....I'll follow your lead,miss Junko.I-I promise.And maybe I can help you in some way?" She offered.

Junko would face Xuan as she maintained her hands on her shoulders. "Well, unless anything else comes in, just be the best friend and sister that you can be for me. I can really you as a big part of our family, Xuan, and no one...not even you should live the rest of their life alone and unloved. I thank you again for providing your home to me when I needed some rest. In return, I will give you a home also, but this time, perhaps permanent." Junko was talking about her family's home so that Xuan can join them all if she wishes to.

Junko was right.No one deserved to live a life of solitude all alone.Xuan gripped Junko's sholders tight also and smiled. "W-We...We really shold be going to sleep." She looked at the time,almost one in the morning. "Its getting late,and a girl does need her sleep." She then tries to back away so she can go and lead Junko to her room. "I'll take you to the guest room,alright?" She held a hand out for Junko to grab.

Junko nodded and said, "Yes, we must go to sleep right away. Tomorrow is another big day, so we need as much energy as possible to see what it brings us." She would accept Xuan's hand so she can be lead to the guest room. It was just several steps away from Xuan's and it looked just as beautiful and comfortable as hers. Now that she's fully washed and dressed for bed, Junko would turn to Xuan, bow in respect, and say, "I thank you again, Xuan. Goodnight and I hope to see you tomorrow."

Even though the feelings that Xuan had for Junko were not mutual,she was slowly getting past it.Junko was almost like a role model to the thief girl,actually.The room she had set up for guest was nice.A television,a dresser (though void of clothes),and a large bed.The sheets were purple and black,akin to the ones in Xuan's room.

Standing in the doorway and watching as Junko looked around.Her friend then bows to her and thanks her for the room and says she would see her tomorrow. "Y-Yeah.Thank you for this whole night." She smiles,looking away for a moment to blush.

Junko would immediately go to her bed and jump up to lie down on top as she said, "Oh, by the way. Don't let me catch you steal anything else from me, otherwise..." She would wink at Xuan to tell her what she means, but then she smiles and giggles as she was really joking. If nothing further was to be said, Junko would pull up the covers as she went under them and turned off the lights so she can get some sleep.
