Not Home Alone

With Junko chasing after her,Xuan was freaking out and had no idea where to go.Only having a few seconds,if that....Xuan dove behind the couch after running down the stairs.When Junko yelled that they could talk,she almost felt lik answering back....But Xuan didnt want to talk,she was scared of what Junko would say.And even worse,Junko could overpower her and torture and punish her for trying that.

It was almost like back then,when she tried to hide after a failed mission.She already knew that she would be found by Junko.The sounds of Xuan whimpering would point her location out.

Junko would now look around to try and did Xuan now that they both stopped running. As she was searching, she would think of what she should say to Xuan, knowing how fearful she was when finding out what she was doing. She then heard her friend's whimpering and followed it in hopes of finding her.

Junko found Xuan behind the couch and the first thing she did when she came to her was wrap her arms around her and hugged her to comfort her.

She couldnt hide.Xuan was whimpering too much,and Junko found her.She looked up,in fear.When the other girl hugged her,Xuan began to break down.Tears filled her eyes,just like they did with Junko's before. "Im sorry...I-I..." The thief looked back down.

"I dont know what to do.I s-shouldnt have done that,a-and..." Her body shook.Xuan didnt want to be punished.She began to curl up even more in fear. "Am I wrong for it?"

"Shhh...Shhhh..." Junko softly hushed as she hugged Xuan and felt her break down. "I'm not blaming you too much, Xuan. I know you have these feelings that you just wanna let out. Although I do aprreciate you telling me, I'm afraid I'm not that sort of person for you." She looked into Xuan's eyes with streaming tears of her own. "I need you here, Xuan, as a sister and best friend. As far as I know YOU could be my only family that loves me for who I am. And I don't think you should be punished for that..."

Then Junko lightly teased Xuan saying, "Unless of course, you WANT punishment for it."

Xuan just wouldnt stop her sniveling and her shaking.

The past,it was creeping up o her.The torture,how the sick and demented way to torture by the higher-ups.Xuan was tied down to tables,held down against her will,and was once even hung upside down for the tortures on her feet.It was always something that she hated to have done to her.No one outside of the guild knew.One of the reasons she left was the torture,as well as the leader dying.

"Junko,Im sorry.I dont w-want t-to.....Not any....Not anymore.I want to go back,someday.But Im,a-afraid...."

"Relax, I was just kidding," said Junko with a light chuckle. "Sorry, I just couldn't help myself...and I will NOT torture you for this." Then she turned to te other matter. "As for your other thieves, we'll see them again someday and I will go with you. Like I said, you are my sister and best friend and I'll do my very best to protect you and keep you safe. You and I are family and soon my mother will welcome you into our family of women, which of course includes my Mom and little sister."

She was comforted by Junko.Who had so much faith in this 'newbie' girl.Xuan was thinking of just going home,to be rid of all of this,and she was ready to do it too.Why did Junko believe in Xuan so much? Because of trust? How she thought of her as a sister?

And Xuan was attempting to ruin this by fulfilling something that she could honestly be kept pushed down for longer.From what the Voice promised,this was a place where she could find some sort of happiness.Still shaking,Xuan hugged Junko back and said no words.She remained silent

Junko felt Xuan hugging her and she smiled as she hugged back and said, "I love you, sister. I'll be here for you no matter what happens." After five minutes of silence and hugging, she slowly broke the hug as she said, "Now come on, let's get washed up for bed and get ready for tomorrow morning. We can see if we can get us a boyfriend of our own." With a wink, Junko slowly stood up and offered a hand to help Xuan up.

"I-I thank you....Sister." Xuan said it with uncertainty in her voice.She dint want to be put off as a friend.Being friend-zoned was a horrible experience.....But,it was still better than what Junko could have done.Better than having her run away and Xuan losing both a new friend,and some sort of respect in the place where she was trying to find refuge.

"We already washed up....A-And what were you planning to do for tomorrow,anyway?" Xuan asks.

Junko giggled as she looked to Xuan and said, "You're so silly! Washing up also includes brushing your teeth! I have yet to do so and I must hurry!" She would rise up and start taking off up the stairs. "Come on, Xuan! Let's brush our teeth so we can have fresh and clean-smelling breath to attract some guys!"

When it came to plans tomorrow, she would say, "Well,
I was thinking you and me can practice our fighting at the gym. Given you're a newcomer, I think I'll be able to help you out."
