Taking out frustrations (open RP/mixed spar challenge)

Max felt his body ricochet off the mat when he crashed to it, taking less of an impact than his female opponent. It would take a second or two, but he would turn over onto his stomach. It went better than he expected, he saw, as he looked at Makie, who was laying flat on her back. He hoped she was okay, but she did tell him not to worry about her too much.

He was worn out from this spar, between the beating he took and the power he had to exert to even get ahead in the match. Max would crawl forward once more, but this time directly in line with Makie as he grabbed a hold of her ankles. He would push them in front of his body until he had folded Makie in half while pressing her legs as far against her as she would go. Using his body to hold her legs down, Max would slap the mat calling out "1..." while he looked at her face in hopes of seeing some sign of life.

Makie moaned slightly as she was rolled up, seemingly too badly hurt to fight back. Her slender body was rolled into an almost perfect C shape as Max folded her over for the pin.

"2..." Max continued. For a moment, it looked like he might make it to the three count...that was, until Makie's eyes opened. With a gasping cry, she kicked out, barely managing to break the pin in time. The resulting motion caused her to fall over onto her front, lying sprawled face-down on the mat. She breathed deeply, hardly moving as she tried to recover from Max's earlier slam.

Max had slapped his hand down for the second count, convinced that Makie would be too hurt to kick out of the pin, but her sudden surge of adrenaline shocked him as she opened her eyes wide and kicked her legs forward, causing Max to rise and fall face-first on the mat while Makie flipped onto her front.

He had to admit that he admired her persistence despite the power moves that Max was dishing out, few as they may be. He would quickly get onto his arms as his head looked up at the girl, noticing that she was barely moving. Had it really only been adrenaline and instincts that kicked Max off, or was she faking it? "Makie...?" the silver-haired wrestler asked out loud, hoping for at least a groan in response. He would crawl with his arms to her to give her a little nudge.

Even as Max leaned in, Makie's leg kicked at the mat a little, as she tried to work up some energy to stand up again. If there was one thing her brothers...and even Midori-sempai...had remarked about her, it was her stubborn persistence. Midori had commented that that would get her in trouble more often than not. I'm glad to see I'm proving you right, Makie thought bitterly.

"I'm...alright..." she managed to groan as she slowly began to push herself upright, digging her knees into the mat as she tried to get up. "Don't...stop...the match yet..." Famous last words, she found herself thinking.

Max nodded, "All right.." he said calmly. He knew her words sounded very contrasting to her current condition and wanted to somehow find a way to make her give up or at least stop the match, but he could tell she was as much connected to her pride as he was his own.

Max would get to his knees a bit easier than Makie, albeit his body was sore and his movements were sluggish. He didn't want to do the same thing he had done last time, given that he didn't think he could pull it off again. Instead, Max would get to his feet first before helping Makie to her feet. If she didn't have enough fight in her, Max would try lifting her into a bear hug in a fashion that placed her facing over his head and shoulder, hoping that she would just tap.

As Makie pushed herself back upright, she felt Max grabbing her to pull her upright as well. A part of her was greatful for this-- given how sore all over her body was, this took away some of the effort of getting back to her feet-- but her wrestler's instincts told her otherwise. Mustering what strength she had, she tried to shove Max's arms away the moment she got up to her knees, and threw a punch at his midsection in the hopes of taking him by surprise. She was still hurting, but she wasn't out of the fight yet.

Max had thought that he had Makie to her feet and where he wanted her, but before he could wrap his arms around her, his arms were pushed away and he was bent over with the air knocked out of him from a swift surprise punch to his midsection. "Oomph!" was the sound his breath made as it was knocked from his lungs. Instinct had him grab at Makie's side to support himself as he tried to keep from having the tides turned on him again.

For a moment, Makie felt relieved, knowing that she had avoided something potentially quite nasty. Even so, she knew she had to keep fighting. Feeling Max leaning against her, Makie gritted her teeth, and wrapped her arms around the silver-haired boy's midsection. Her cheek pressed against his abs, but Makie took her mind off it as she braced her legs, pushing her sore body to tilt backwards and suplex her heavier opponent, face-first, into the mat. "Hruuuagh!"

Max was bent over, just wondering how Makie had managed to bring herself to fight back so strongly. Although, he shouldn't be so surprised given how well she did at controlling him.

As he felt Makie wrap her arms around his midsection, pressing him further against her, Max couldn't help but feel a tiny bit flustered. His instincts told him to wrap his arms around Makie's midsection to try and keep her from lifting him. He wasn't sure if his arms would be able to keep him on the ground though, as Makie had proven rather resilient thus far.

Makie was already uncertain if she would have enough strength left to perform the suplex, but it looked like she would be unable to do so anyway as Max's arms wrapped around her midsection again. "D-dammit!" she cursed as the two of them were locked tightly against each other. Her legs pressed against the mat as she tried to push against Max, her shoulder pressing against his abs as she tried to force him back against the ropes. If she managed to do, then she would loosen her grip and try to edge away a bit before sending another punch into Max's abs, hoping that this would be enough to make him let go. If she didn't manage to force Max back, though, then she would try to punch him anyway.
