Re: DnD Thread
Fact: DnD was invented by hasbro in 2008 and is a total rip off the movie Dungeons and Dragons.
Fact: The only reason anyone even knows what it is is the Steven Lynch song and that video with the mountain dew and the doing chicks.
Fact: The word 'die' is aaactually misused. It's dice. Like "I have a twenty-sided dice." Die means when you stop living.
I totally liked it before it was popular but now it's lame because of all you noobs so I don't like it anymore. Now I only read 4th century Renaissance poetry in lattin.

Re: DnD Thread
Swashbucklers are based on pirates; they're like rogues/thieves but they can do better damage, use guns and bombs and require a decent bit of luck~
EH? What movie/book/game did some bring up? Arcana what?~

1/10. trollin too hard, though probably intentional
also remembered most of a session of our superhero game Healing Factor being taken up because Omen (a teleporting gunslinging cyborg) and Dangerous (hard-drinkin regenerating martial artist whose arms could grow shotguns like wolverine claws) had a badass-off for the first several sessions. the other party members found it annoying, especially when it started costing lives when Omen killed the mob boss Travis Troublemaker, who willfully surrendered.
boiled down to them going to the abandoned apartments in the slums and having a duel to end what the other party members called "sexual tension." lots of Omen teleporting between houses sniping at Dangerous until he got close enough to beat the shit out of him before he blinked away again. boiled down to a suicide run by Omen where he grabbed some explosives in his robot arm and rushed him. blew up, flew out a window, and both crashed several stories down on the pavement. -10 was legally dead for most, Dangerous' healing factor made his -15. Dangerous was at -7, Omen -6 and with his robot arm looking like Elmer Fudd had tied his shotgun in a knot and fired
I motioned for a draw. the party voted Dangerous won. Omen motioned that he won. We all laughed at him. I was pulling for him a bit with the draw, but when your opponent can regenerate and you can't, you're lower health with a closer death level, and you're out a few grand for your lost robot arm, you did not come out on top.
