Pathfinder is just 3.5 with a bit more balance. :p
I still prefer 4e myself, anyway.

Re: DnD Thread
we call it 3.75 cause it pretty much is.
I like 4th but none of my friends do. At least as a DM I thought it was far superior to most editions. On the player's end it's lacking considerably I think. Though I do like SOMETHINGS it's just there' far less customization.

Re: DnD Thread
Nah, there's more than enough customization, you just have to grab a couple extra splatbooks for it.
Personally, I'm pissed they've more or lessed dropped 4e completely for the Essentials line. :/

Re: DnD Thread
it's because they sort of killed it with all the new books. By the time the players handbook 3 or 4 came out why would you play anything that was in the core books? The system wasn't made like 3rd where it could be extrapolated to an endless number of things. It had a fatal flaw.

Because you'd rather play one of the classes or races from the PH1?
I'm not fond of most of the races from the other PHs, so yeah. There's only a couple of them I've even vaguely been interested in. :X

Re: DnD Thread
Was really upset at the revamp of the teifling race in fourth. But only because Diterlizi's junk-in-the-trunk teifling is my favorite iconic picture ever, and I'm saying this as someone who likes Wayne Reynolds.
Edit: Well okay, that's a lie. Pathfinder gnome druid owns, owns, owns.

NEWS FLASH: the Archergurl who you speaking of is not part of AFW anymore and she's currently working in production for new game titles in Japan. I'm her Canadian friend who she gave her PC due to mines has crashed. She was nice enough to give it to me to help a friend in need. So she got a spared one that she uses for the things I've mention above. BTW, Anegge and Alexandra be sure to check the E-mail adresses carefully. As Archergurl and me aren't the same thing.

Re: DnD Thread
I just played D&D for the first time this year (running 4e), only did one campaign...
Now I'm going to be DMing the next game (as I'm the most imaginitive in the group) and running a wizard character at the same time... oh and it will be a campaign that I have created myself... I don't do things by half.

I honestly prefer 9th edition bestest. Because it lets my dragon-demon-vampire-werewolf-elf dual-wield holy plasma triple chain-saws.
And that rocks.
