'Revival' in C sharp

Karina was a strong woman, Seraphim knew that from the moment they met. She had a raging soul, a fiery spirit, an indomitable strength, and a beast-like temper. But, even the strongest people break down from time to time, Seraphim knew that from experience herself, and she knew that Karina needed a friend right now more than anything. And Seraphim was more than happy to be that person, whether it was just for a few words of advice, or a shoulder to cry on, Seraphim was happy to be there for her now. “..You donâ€t have to apologize. Youâ€ve been through a lot… itâ€ll be okay.” Seraphim said with her eye closed for a moment, gently rubbing her hands up and down the girlâ€s back to comfort her, letting her cry even if she was trying not to.

Letting Karina hold on for as long as she needed to, Seraphim ignored the fact that her own legs were shaking with exhaustion, and just remained there for Karina. There were so many things about her Seraphim wanted to know and help her with. Even though Seraphim was handling so many responsibilities already, it felt like suddenly, Karina became her top priority, and she didnâ€t dare tell her to let go, or get over it. The girl had been bottling up for too long, and more than anything, she needed this. Letting Karina remain for as long as she could, Seraphim let out a soft sigh as Karina wiped away her tears, a small, warm smile coming to her lips. “Karina… I can tell youâ€re a good person, it may be bad now, but in the end, everything will be right again. I… Iâ€ll even help you.”

Karina could notice Seraphim's unstable condition, she should have known better then to be this selfish and keep Seraphim standing, so she did something not even Seraphim would probably expect. Her hands moved down to Serahim's thighs and suddenly, with alot of strength and a little bit of pain since she had not recovered, she pulled Seraphim up and onto her lap, mumbling out lowly. " Don't stand.. On your last strength.. " She'd pull back just a bit, a mild blush upon her cheeks when she pulled Seraphim upon her lap like this, withdrawing from her own embrace so she could rest back upon the pillow and look up at Seraphim, once again rubbing her knuckles into her closed eyes just to remove the remaining tears from them. " Mmm.. Thank you, Seraphim.. I can tell you'll be a great friend.. "

As much as Karina wanted to ignore it, her eyes wandered down Seraphim's body before back at her eyes, though she did stop at the girl's chest. Karina was never attracted to girls, nor boys.. Her guitar was the only thing that was allowed to be loved by herself, since it couldn't actually run away nor cheat on her, as crazy as it sounded, her guitar meant everything in the world to her because she had nothing else but for once she didn't look at the guitar.. She only looked at Seraphim, and she started to feel slightly attracted to her, just looking at her made her smile but also she had the passion to fight her, not now since they both couldn't, but Karina's ghastly red eyes kept an intent look in Seraphim's, as if seeing them both fight eachother in them.

Seraphim blinked a few times when she suddenly felt her legs give out from under her. She thought she was collapsing, her legs numb and unable to even tell, but when she was actually rising rather than falling, her crimson eye blinked in a dumbfounded manner, only to realize that Karina had picked her up. She couldnâ€t believe it at first, and when she heard Karinaâ€s words as she settled her down on her lap, Seraphim looked away for a moment, feeling her cheeks heat up with a faint hue of red, not knowing what to think. She really didnâ€t expect something of this from Karina, and now, Seraphim was the one who was flustered and confused, looking both ways for a moment with a nervous look in her eye. She did really appreciate Karinaâ€s gratitude, it warmed her heart to know this once raging girl had a softer side like this. But getting treated like this so suddenly felt… off to her.

Karina would have her chance to look Seraphim over though during her hesitation. The girl had an average height and was a perfect weight, well toned but her pale skin still soft despite the muscle tone she had. Her feather white hair reached nearly to the back of her knees, and even smelled faintly of an herbal mix, and even with her wounds, she still carried a beauty that was elegant, but powerful. Even the feeling of her soft rear against Karinaâ€s lap, and her modest but well shaped, C-cup breasts seemed perfectly fitting for her, not too big nor small, making Seraphim overall seem like, despite her flaws like the missing eye or her albino appearance, it just helped add to her beauty, one that up close, beyond the raging demon she was in battle, there was a softer, graceful side.

Seraphim couldnâ€t help but feel uncomfortable about this all though, not liking how this suddenly felt oddly… intimate to her. And after what happened between her and Megumi just last week, she couldnâ€t bare to have those thoughts. Sure, she had played around and once or twice in the match touched Karina a little perversely. But it wasnâ€t bad at all compared to what some fighters did, and it was all just good fun. Yet now, this felt… wrong to her, and suddenly, Seraphim shuffled away, sliding off Karina silently and rather hastefully, before she hurried on shaky legs back to her own bed. The girl immediately sunk under the covers, pulling it over her head, still blushing as she thought about how foolish this all was, cursing at herself for it while she hid under the blanket like a child. Karina frowned when she saw Seraphim hurriedly move to her own bed, thinking she just did something wrong, even with her short time knowing Seraphim she could tell something was wrong though tried to keep it casual. She grabbed her last cheeseburger and took a few munches from it, looking at the curled up Seraphim, who was hiding under her blankets, for now it seemed that Karina was fine again, she worred less and forgot more about the memories that just haunted her but now her attention was fixed on Seraphim, looking at the figure under the blankets. " Hey...? You alright? I didn't want to embarass you or whatever.. Just hought you shouldn't be standing on your feet like that.. If it helps.. You smell nice. " Karina then twitched when she just heard what she just said, what a stupid thing to say, even for her!

Karina then thought about what had just happened with her and how she was behaving and then going over what Seraphim just did, she decided it was her turn to take a shot in the dark. " Yo Seraphim.. Are you.. afraid to be close to anyone? " it sounded weird, especially since matches often meant getting close and personal with your opponent but those were matches and you don't even have any other thoughts then fighting your enemy, here there was only them.. No one else.. And perhaps because they weren't fighting and only talking to eachother, it might have been hard for Seraphim for Karina to suddenly do that.

Seraphim felt like such a tool for letting herself get that close. She should have just hugged Karina and got over it, letting it linger that long just made things complicated, and now Seraphim felt a wave of different emotions come over her that she pushed aside again. Just say a joke, do something silly to lighten the mood or get a laugh, and it would all be behind her, right? Thatâ€s how Seraphim had been living it out for the past few months, ever since she met Megumi and found happiness again. And for the time since then when they were together, if she was ever upset, it always worked. Heck, it got other people like Minerva and Tracy to even smile too, so she constantly did it, the once brutal crimson warrior having a softer edge, finding happiness once again. But now… No, she couldnâ€t think that way.

Staying under the covers for a few more moments, she let out a small sigh when Karina asked that question, and even now, Seraphim decided to play it off like everything was fine. If she could offer a cheerful optimism and give Karina a hug, she had to stay strong to show that the support she had offered Karina wasnâ€t shallow. After all, there was no sense in trying to help someone if you couldnâ€t help yourself. And so, after she swallowed her pain dry, Seraphim lowered the blankets again, carrying a smile on her lips, even though it hid her own pain, looking at Karina with a smile that closed her eyes, her pearl white teeth, one with a bloody brace in it too, being seen. “Yea, Iâ€m cool~ Just uh… I guess I felt a little awkward, thatâ€s all.” She said with a laugh, once again only chuckling a few times before she cringed and put her hand on her jaw. It was hard to see through Seraphimâ€s act, she upheld it quite well, but the small sigh she had at the end gave a hint, as she tried to sit upright again in her bed, being careful with her back. “Itâ€s not that Iâ€m afraid, tch, you think leader of White Gale fears anything?” She said with pride, pumping her fist in the air with excitement, trying to replace the truth with blind optimisim.

" Heh, alright then. For a minute there I thought you were afraid of me. " Karina would laugh before she'd slowly turned so she could sit on the edge of the bed, taking the last sips of her milkshake before she'd stand on both feet and look down for a moment, wondering if she could stand up completely, her legs weren't trembling, she could feel an occasional shivver go down her spine, which might have been just a cold from the stupid gown she had to wear, looking over at Seraphim before she'd inspect the room. " Meh, not even a damn playstation to have us have fun with. " She'd then do a twirl to look at her guitar, staring at it for a few good seconds before looking away quickly and back at Seraphim, taking a few good steps to her bed and then standing still infront of her and inspected her. " Say, this White Gale of yours... What is it like.. " Karina took a seat at the side of Seraphim's bed and looked out infront of her, staring at the wall. " Does it make you feel happy.. Powerfull..loved.. Dedicated? In the Era of Hell.. It was mostly just getting powerfull and get lot'sa money. "

Karina started to kick her feet back and forth as if she was waiting for something, looking at the time, it was starting to get late already, wondering how long they have been here by now, perhaps enough to call it a day? Meh.. Maybe not THAT late. Karina was a nightbird after all, she was active.. Hyper in the evening and really lazy and disturbing in the morning, completely different from the avarage girl but then again, she was far from avarage.

There was a silent sigh of relief from Seraphim when Karina decided not to investigate. It wasnâ€t like she couldnâ€t be honest with Karina, it was more… that she couldnâ€t even be honest with herself, still living in ignorance of the pain. Sure… she cried the entire day after her break up with Megumi. But now, she lived in denial, casting it away to the deepest corner of her mind, hoping to forget it without any more pain. Masochist or not, she liked physical pain… not mental. But fortunately, Karina didnâ€t pursue the topic, and Seraphim just watched the girl for a moment, her smile no longer as pained, just more relaxed now as she laid back. Sure, it was a little quiet, but with Karina, she at least had something to do, game system or not. A shame Seraphim didnâ€t have one at home, she sometimes visited the arcade, but up until recently after all the matches she won, she never had the money to get one. Maybe now though she should consider~ Would be a nice excuse to get Karina to even come to her apartment, her roommate Alison always loved meeting new people.

Watching though as Karina went for her guitar and walked around the bed, Seraphim bit her tongue on telling the girl to settle down. After Karina had picked up Seraphim before, and how Seraphim would be contradicting herself since she was walking around only moments ago, she just didnâ€t say anything at first. That is, until she heard Karinaâ€s question that made her eye widen a little in surprise. She was glad Karina asked, but never would have expected it, figuring that Seraphim would have to bring it to attention herself, and not the other way around. Seraphim paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before she decided to give a proper explanation, looking at Karina with a more serious gaze, crimson eye against crimson, speaking to her with a straitfoward, leader like tone. “There are many things we do. We offer the weaker, targeted wrestlers protection, we try to stop the Era of Hell from the atrocities they commit, but at the same time, we are a proud and caring family who all stick by eachothers sides, we use power for the right things.” Her head held high, Seraphim briefly gripped the edge of her blanket as she was still looking at Karina, explaining one other important detail that some people often confused. “I will say this, weâ€re not trying to destroy anyone, or take away all Heels. The AFW needs a villain, itâ€s what makes this a sport, shit.. I used to be one myself. Weâ€re not trying to change that. But the Era of Hell goes too far. Thereâ€s a difference between being a Heel, and being an animal.”

" Using power for the right things. " She'd stare out infront of her for a moment, her arms coming down onto her lap and thought about it. So the White Gale was out to make sure Era of Hel does nothing wrong... Cops and Robbers, heh... " There was a time... That the Era of Hell wasnt this crazy. " She'd once again stand up to walk around the room, not all bothered about the pain and just taking all the stuff in her mind and summing it up, mostly the differences about the two organizations. " The Era of Hell USED to be a family.. It was made to stop having heel singled out and have.. Some sort of family they could depend on.. So it used to be fun. I was around the time Sindel was still the leader of it.. Ruthless little girl, that's what I was fond of, though it was weird seeing her have an actual slave to do her bidding and fight for her. To be honest I felt bad for her.. Mostly cause she looked like my sister. We have fun and she always had to work. "

Karina would then take a seat on her own bed and look over at Seraphim but with a serious look on her face. " But one day, that same girl led a revolution against Sindel and knocked her off her throne. At first I thought we were all in trouble, cause nobody helped that slave girl.. But she treated us extremely well and whatever she promised, she kept.. The Era of Hell grew like a family and nobody heard of Sindel anymore but after a while things well.. Suddenly got bad. That girl acted all possessed and evil and told us all to start beating everyone on sight. Personally I didn't mind, aslong as I get paid. By that time there were people serving specifically under me. Some rookie called Zasashi and some crazed chick called Sharaiya. Life was good as a leader but the new people that came in were strange.. Every one of them were bad to the bone.. And well, in the end, I'm here with you now, heh. "

Karina grabbed her milkshake and took one last sip, she needed a drink after talking that much, smiling over at Seraphim. " I'm glad I met you, you're quite the opponent and also.. Quite the... Friend. "

As Seraphim heard Karinaâ€s explanation, she felt like it was all beginning to make sense to her. Honestly, for someone who lead against the Era of Hell, she didnâ€t know everything she could have, so hearing about their history really did help. Though, Seraphim couldnâ€t help but feel a regret in her heart about this, hearing how Karina disapproved of their actions, and the changes that occurred. It was a shame really, if the old Era of Hell existed, Seraphim wouldnâ€t have even needed to make White Gale. She saw nothing wrong with being a Heel, and it sounded like the old Era understood that too. But these new changes, the chaos they created… it was too far. Shameful really… Seraphim had a feeling she would have gotten along with the old Era of Hell, heck, maybe even have White Gale and the old Era look out for eachother too in a strange sense, but that was beyond impossible with how things were now, and it sounded like Cerbera was the root of it all.

Hearing about Sindel as well made her curious, but she understood more now. For her own reasons, she decided not to ask her good friend, knowing the past was best left buried. But it was good to hear more history about it, and she really begun to understand now. She also took notice of how Karina mentioned she had a sister, and Seraphim grew even more curious about the situation Karina had, deciding to wait on that question for now. In the end, Seraphim found herself growing a warm, calm smile from what Karina said, her heart warming at being said as a good opponent and friend. “The same goes for you, Iâ€m glad we fought. Heh… even if it did end with us in a hospital, it was worth it.” She said with a cheeky grin, clenching a fist proudly. However, she needed to know something else, hoping Karina would at least consider it since they were on the topic. So, trying to be careful how she brought it up, Seraphim finally asked what she had been wanting to since their match ended. “How about.. oh I dunno, you consider joining? Y-You donâ€t have to change your habits, truthfully I canâ€t imagine you not being a Heel, but at least, until the Era of Hell is returned to their old ways, we fight together. Whaddaya say Karina?”

" Hmmmm.. Joining the White Gale... " Karina thought about it, it seemed like a good offer since she was now the enemy of the Era of Hell and she could not keep defending herself alone and she could probably spar with Seraphim whenever she'd like.. All she could find are good sides and not a single bad one, looking up at Seraphim with a smile and then started to smile. " Sure thing, aslong as I can be myself, I see not reason why not. Heck, I'm sure it'll be fun. " Karina was quite.. Happy with what she just decided, it didn't even take that much time to think about it, it was rather easy to see that Seraphim was someone who she could depend on, that alone gave her the strength and lightened mood, which was all she needed. " Hmm.. Karina from the White Gale.. Karina.. White Gale.. Heavenly Metal.. Haha. Sure Sure, I think it'll go well. "

Karina then decided to lay in her bed once more, pulling the blankets over herself and closing her eyes, her stomach was full, she had her share of tears, she has alot of wounds but she has gained a friend, which was what Karina seemed to be content with, having an actual friend. In her thoughts she called for her mother and told her she was going to be alright and will work hard for Seraphim's.. Well... Their cause now, it all seemed to fit in quite nicely and Karina couldn't wait to get healed up and fight her ex members aswell as getting stronger by fighting her rival Seraphim.
